The submarine experience itself was very good and well worth doing. The staff were friendly, and it was a unique experience that we really enjoyed.
However, be very careful with the parking. We paid €2.40 for parking, but when we tried to leave, the exit scanner wouldn't accept our ticket. We pressed the help button and spoke to the operator, who insisted we hadn't paid, so we paid again. The exact same thing happened, so we ended up paying a third time. Strangely, the barrier finally opened without even scanning the ticket.
We weren't the only ones affected—two cars in front of us and one behind us also had to pay at least twice. We wanted to make a complaint, but the parking office is on the other side of the marina, and to get there you would have to enter the car park again and pay once more. It really felt like a scam and left a bad impression after an otherwise great experience.

The adventure didn't happen due to llack of customers (ballast) waited for 30 minutes just in case more joined. All passengers frustrated most had travel some distance, a hour on the bus for me and then back. Lots of staff standing around but apparently they couldn't be used to ballast the sub, very disappointed couldn't book another activity so a wasted day.

As this is a real submarine, ballast is a technical and safety requirement, and a minimum number of passengers is necessary for the operation to proceed. Fortunately, this is a very uncommon situation, but on this occasion we were unable to meet the required conditions despite waiting for additional bookings.
Regarding your comment about our staff, each team member is assigned to specific operational and safety duties and therefore cannot be used as ballast.
We understand your disappointment, especially after the time you spent travelling, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.

We really enjoyed this submarine trip. It was professionally organised. You received a free audio guide which was available in several languages. The commentary was good and you are taken to a ship wreck on the floor bed. It is quite murky as reduced light but you can see lots of fishes. The submarine does a full circle or the shipwreck so you get all angles. I was also travelling with my young son on my own and the staff helped me up and down the ladders with him which was really appreciated.

The experience itself was spoilt for us as the boarding system they have they ask for any families with children to come to the front to board first , this included families with older teens then couples board lastly. As we boarded there was only random single seats left as families left single seats either side of them meaning we had to sit separately as no staff were below deck directing passengers where to sit or encouraging them to move up one so all passengers got to enjoy the experience with their partners . So couples beware !!!!
