The tour was very well...

BOTONDVIKTOR_B, Feb 2025
The tour was very well organized, with a professional guide. It covers the main attractions of the island. I can only recommend it to everyone.

It was a full day...

Helen_E, Jan 2025
It was a full day exploring the mountains and visited a Cave home, one town Teror for 30 mins and another town for a toilet break of 15 mins. The guide spoke both German and English throughout as mixed group. We were taken to a place to eat a set lunch for €15 which wasn’t what we expected as was told we were going to have 2 hours to enjoy lunch - we expected to be able to choose somewhere nice to eat. The set lunch wasn’t very nice. I think we were two small groups English and German that was put together to make viable. The guide was very knowledgeable and the driving skills of the coach driver were tremendous as the roads were very narrow and in some cases very high up. We saw a lot and glad we did it but would recommend to leave people in Teror for longer to see the town and ditch the set meal as wasn’t at all nice.

Day tour Gran Canaria

The advertisements for this tour leads one to believe that the transportation is by minibus whereas we were taken by coach which limits the views somewhat. Guide and driver were both good.

Perfect tour to visit all around the Island!

Irene_B, Mar 2024
Spectacular tour! The guide was very friendly and knows 7 different languages. I felt like we traveled around the whole island and got to see the major points of interest.

Trip around the island

Alicia_L, Jan 2024
Great trip around the island. Our tour guide Simone was very informative and took good care of us. Fantastic very skilled driver Manolo did amazing job driving us through mountains.

Ruined by aloe "farm"

Mads, Dec 2023
Most of the fond memories were ruined by the last stop at aloe "farm" dusgusting to drop tourists off at a store and disguise it as part of sightseeing, only to have quacks lie to you about the panacea of the aloe plant and peddle their insanely overpriced products. Utterly exploitative. I can only imagine the store pays the tour company for this tourist trap. Apart from that the trip was great. Great views, amazing guide, such a memorable experience. Without the aloe "farm" it would have been 5 stars.

A good way to see parts of the island.

Darren_W, Nov 2023
Each place visited was very nice but all linked to ‘gift shops’ and encouragement of spending. The journey was informative but not enough time in each place to explore. Lunch was pleasant but the venue was very full. The cost of lunch was very reasonable. Guide was nice and gave a lot of information. The whole excursion was nearer 9 hours than the advertised 7 hours.

Great day

Eleni_T, Sep 2023
Great way to see the north part of the island and get all the insides from a local guide. Seen villages in the mountain that there was no way i would have driven to. The roads are not easy. Read reviews about the food break lunch and i was not having great expectations but i was happily suprised that for 13 euros i had a lovely 3 course with a drink included.

Eh

Edina_D, Aug 2023
It would have been nicer to visit more towns instead of busing from one gift shop to the next. Spare yourself the “lunch” and just bring a sandwich instead. Also, I expected to learn more about aloe vera and it’s production but instead we got an infomercial. Overall, I feel like a dumb tourist who wasted a precious vacation day on a bus.

A full day tour of Gran Canaria with a commentary on history and

Simon_B, Feb 2023
A full day trip around the island, with a detailed and enjoyable commentary from our guide, Tom. We were picked up on time from our hotel, joining the rest of the tour at San Augustin. We left at 9.30 and were back at 6.30 in the evening Commentary was in English, German and Spanish. Highlights were the village of Teror, the views from the mountains, and the cave dwelling visit. Some of the mountain roads were steep and full of hairpin bends - our driver Paco took it all in his stride, but those of a nervous disposition might want to opt for something less adventurous. Customer service was great - I managed to leave my phone on the first bus, and Tom and Paco tracked it down and had it back to my hotel before the tour was finished. Thanks to both! Lunch was ok - reasonable value at €13 a head including drinks, but not 'fine dining'!

Great Day trip - Loads of information

Pragasen_M, Dec 2022
A really fantastic day trip. We had a smaller bus pick us up and transfer us to a bigger one. There were approximately 50 of us on the trip starting at a point on the island. Tom, our guide was brilliant with loads of information about the history of Gran Canaria. The driver was superb navigating challenging roads Depends what you are looking for, but I certainly did not want to drive and this was an excellent way to see the place. Note keep €12 per person for lunch as part of your budget - All in all a good trip

Fantastic. So many hidden gems

George_S, Jun 2022
I would definitely reccomend this trip, if you're staying in a more tourist style area. You see a different side to GC. Miguel the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable the driver was fantastic navigating through the mountains too

A good trip for island newbies!

Eloise_S, Jun 2022
A few things to consider if you're thinking of booking this trip: - it's a long day - we got the bus at 09:40 and got dropped back at our hotel at 18:40. - 70% of this trip is being on the coach: you get some great views, but stops are very quick. The longest stop was lunch, just under an hour! - lunch is "optional" but not really. You are driven to a restaurant that do a 3 course meal for €12. A very good deal, but there are no other options if you don't want this (some people on our trip had pack lunches which is worth noting). - not sure if this was just our trip, but the majority of the guests were Spanish, and our guide often forgot/shortened the English translation down, so we got little information towards the end of the day. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and are glad we did this trip, however I don't think it is as advertised and further information should be provided (such as the lunch situation and brief tour stops).

Good experience

Grzegorz_Z, May 2022
Great trip for a start of the adventure on the island - the guide is knowledgeable and shows many of the iconic landmarks of the island. Worth your time and money. Limiting the number of participants would be a thing to consider, but it's not a tragedy.

Muy Agradable

Sheila_W, May 2022
This is a really long day but well worth it. I saw parts of the island I’d never visited and really enjoyed it. Miguel the guide spoke everything in 3 languages and Lessandro the driver was amazing round some windy roads in the mountains with barely enough room for two cars, let alone a big coach. We saw scenery, had a menú de día lunch (not included €12), saw picturesque towns and views to die for. Recommended.

Good day in Gran Canaria

Monika_Z, Feb 2022
Angel was a nice guide, was making sure that everyone feels comfortable We have seen a few beautiful places and spend time in a group of nice people

Great Tour

David_R, Feb 2022
Great overview of the island north and centre. A lot packed into the day which was well worth it. Would recommend. Great guide too.

Chaotic running between places

Alina_H, Feb 2022
The guide spoke 3 different languages at the same time. He just didn’t have enough time to tell all information. The tour is nice for someone who wants to take pictures and quickly run from one place to another. We expected more historical information, stories of places, etc.

Perfect!

Birgitta_K, Oct 2021
Very variation between little villages and nature scenes! Driver Alfredo drove well and steady and guide Maribel is a lovely person!

Gerne wieder

Horst_L, Nov 2023
Informativ, netter Reiseleiter, gute Gruppe, hat alles gut geklappt. Mittagessen konnte kostengünstig erworben werden
