Make getting on the water a breeze with this wildlife-rich kayaking tour. After meeting your guide, you’ll hop into a double or single see-through kayak and hit the shady mangrove tunnels and serene waters of Fort Pierce Inlet State Park. Along the way, you’ll keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins, manatees, and more—sometimes swimming right beneath you.

- Limited to 10 travelers, you'll get a fun, small-group experience
What's Included
- Use of kayak with life jackets, paddles, whistles.
- All guests will be placed in a tandem/double seated kayak unless you have an odd number of guests in your party. Then the solo guest will be set up in a single seated kayak.
- Our guides work hard and appreciate a tip at the end of your tour. Thank you.
- Entrance fee - Fort Pierce Inlet State Park$6.00 per person

Once you pay the $6 mandatory entry fee (this is not included in the booking fee), you will travel about 1/3 of a mile to the first driveway you see on the right hand side of the roadway. Enter the driveway and continue until you reach our parking lot.

Nothing but great things to say about our kayak tour with Todd. The kayaks were easy to maneuver but it was the Todd’s narrative and wit that made the tour special. Even though we didn’t see a lot of wildlife, Todd pointed out many interesting specimens. He explained so much about the mangroves and their value to the environment. Fabulous couple of hours - Get Up and Go!

This was a very fun experience, also suitable for beginners.
The tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable, took time to show different creatures in the water and in the area.
I like that they provide wet bags for your items.

The tour guide Todd was very knowledgeable and expressed willingness to assist us if needed. The weather was not optimal but it could not be controlled by the tour guide or company. They allowed us to reschedule and we did not want to reschedule again so we went out cloudy day sunset cruise. More cloud watching ensued 😂. These guys were great though and paddling through the mangroves was cool.

It was a beautiful, warm sunny morning to be on the water in these very cool, clear kayaks with my husband, son and daughter in law. Even though the water was cloudy as a result of recent high winds and rain, the overall experience was great. Todd was an excellent guide and did a fine job talking about the ecosystem of the Indian River watershed. His familiarity with the area was evident and his explanations were easy to understand. Bravo! PS the seats need to be a bit more comfortable…

Since moving to Florida, I've been wanting to explore the mangroves via kayak. When my son came down to visit, I thought that would be the perfect opportunity. We chose Get Up and Go Kayaking and what a great time we had. Todd was so knowledgeable about the mangroves; we really learned a lot. I had just undergone surgery on my knee and was concerned about be able to get in and out if the kayak. Todd was right there to help me which I really appreciated. If you are in the Ft Pierce area, I would highly recommend Get Up and Go Kayaking with Todd. What a great experience.

We had a great clear kayak eco tour experience with guide Todd. It was a lot of fun kayaking through the mangrove tunnels. Todd is clearly passionate about what he does and protecting the environment. He provided lots of great info about the local plants, animal, and the lagoon in general. He was kind enough to answer any additional questions we had, as well. Tour was easy to locate inside the state park. We were lucky to see a gopher tortoise on our way out of the park.

Interesting facts and history about marine life and mangrove species. Our tour guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and clearly loved his job….we were able to stop at a shoreline flat which provided a good wading area for all kind of birds…the finale of the tour was seeing a dolphin or two!!!

Allen was such a fantastic tour guide!!!!! He is so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable of the area and its wildlife. He worked very hard to make sure we had the best tour possible given the changing tides at that time of day and he is excellent at spotting the wildlife! We saw many juvenile/adolescent green sea turtles, jellyfish, and even a spotted eagle ray! I’m looking forward to doing more of these kayak tours, now! Thank you Allen for such a memorable experience, and thank you Get Up and Go Kayaking for providing such a wonderful activity in this area!
