Amazing Experience, The...

Amazing Experience, The trip guide was very friendly and made s lot of new friends. Definitely recommended!

Feel Unlucky to book this tour with this agency

DuongDungVit, May 2025
If you travel to Morocco, you must do the Sahara desert tour, it was so different with other places, nice to see and many things to experience there. However, you will be unlucky one if you book the tour with this agency, they organized this tour was very bad, not professional and like a mess. They tell us about the time and location at 11 pm one the day right before we do the tour ( but I needed to keep chasing them asking them about the time otherwise they may tell us late and we cannot sleep early to prepare for the trip but waiting for them instead ). On the first day, they just put us in the vans and sit with other people from different tours, and no tourguide, just the driver speak english, then in the afternoon, the driver dropped us at the place where to do the camel ride but he didnt say anything or explain how it work, when we asked the driver, he said he didnt know, the agency said he just need to drop us here. We was very upset and worry because it was so crowded and people started leaving, so we had to walk around and ask the information what we need to do although this was supposed the tour guide job, and when we got to the camp, no body tell us what tent number we would stay or what activities we would do, the people working there keep asking what is our tourguide or our travel agency so they can help us sorted out. At that moment we was so anxiety because we saw people keep moving to their tent and pack their stuffs and going to have dinner, but we had to wait until we find out our tent, oh yeah we made it at the end by ourselves, no tourguide here. The second day, we were put to sit with the group doing the same tour with us and had the tourguide, but because we didnt join the tour with the group at the beginning, so he not allow us to sit in the front but the back as there were people sitting there the day before , yeah you can imaging how your back feel when you sit at the back for the whole day. If you want to enjoy the desert tour fully, then dont do it with this agency.

Make an educated decision

I hope this review gives people a chance to make an educated choice when they book their tour. Pros: it is significantly cheaper to do this type of tour than to do it on your own by renting a car from Fes to Marrakech. And you don’t have to find your way, navigate the traffic stops, or deal with lodging. It was easy. Also it’s fun to be in a group and meet other travelers. The desert was stunning, the desert camp was very nice, as well as the lodging in Ouzazarte. Food was ample. Our driver was good and safe. Cons: This tour was one of many that all were the same. It felt like I was on an assembly line. It didn’t feel very authentic - we didn’t get very immersed in the culture at all. You are in the car a lot, which is to be expected. But we didn’t have any kind of tour “guide”, like one that explains the different stops/history/culture to you - We had a driver that spoke minimal English. We would have a stop for like 30 minutes in a place, but there was no “guiding”. We are at the same restaurants as all the other tours driving to the desert that day. We did not do any hiking in the Dades Valley as was described in the itinerary, we just pulled over to take a picture. You stop at some cooperatives to learn how artisans make their goods, but it felt a bit like an infomercial. Also, I had previously seen all of this in Fes so it was a bit duplicative for me. This tour was fine for me because it met my goals of getting to the desert, staying in a camp, and seeing Ait Ben Haddou (for 1 hour, no tour included). I would not personally do this again, because it’s not really my style. But the ease of the trip and provided transportation was really nice. It was professional. I hope this review helps others decide what is best for their travel desires.

It was a truly unique experience

BeyzaNur_B, Sep 2024
The part of my trip to Morocco that I was most excited about was this tour. I researched a lot and waited with great anticipation. First of all, the agency was incredibly attentive. They answered all of my questions, and I want to thank them for that. Beyond that, our driver and guide, MOMO, was everything to us. He took great care of us every time, did whatever we asked, and he’s genuinely an amazing person. We were so lucky to have him as our guide. He’s a highly professional driver who got us safely through many difficult roads to each destination. Momo was truly the main character who made this trip unforgettable. Thank you so much for everything, Momo! ❤️

Had a great time!

Had a great time on this tour with our guide Tarek. He created a great environment for us to have a really fun time with the others on our tour and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. Consider yourself lucky if you get him as a guide! The desert was beautiful and there were plenty of stops between the major stops which broke the trip up perfectly.

There was a mix up at the start but the locals and guides put in 100% effort to get us back to the bus. Was a long journey to the desert and back but was really memorable, we loved the camels and sandboarding.

Must do experience in Morocco

Bagus_F, May 2024
I enjoyed this trip so much it was one of the highlights experience in Morocco. it can be long tiring day but seen so many good things along the road.

The desert was so...

John_J, Mar 2024
The desert was so beautiful nothing bad about that. But the tour was very poorly organized from beginning to end. Didn’t get information on pickup until night of the day before and tried contacting the operating many times beforehand without any response. Very long 10hrs drives each day which can be exhausting and you’re in and out of the desert in less than 12hrs, in at sunset and out by sunrise, very rushed. The hotel they placed me in also didn’t have hot water and all the stops for lunch/breaks were very expensive. The views were great though, but the tour can do better.

Lovely with a minor quibble

Julie_H, Jan 2024
Rashid was a very good driver as well as a very helpful and knowledgeable guide. The Sahara night was very good. We chose a luxury tent which was the right choice for a cold night. I would have liked at least a few minutes with less light around the camp to enjoy the stars before the cold set in. Perhaps a 5- minute break in the lights around the fire would be appreciated. Other than this minor annoyance, it was a great tour and spectacular journey through the mountains.

Amazing trip away from big cities

Bernd_V, Oct 2023
Best part of my stay in Morocco. Our driver Abdel was the best. He knew everything and he was driving very well. The whole trip was interesting and gave a deep look into the culture of Morocco. The camel trip through the desert was a lot of fun and the desert camp was nice. My favourite part was to see so many different things in 3 days. I would recommend it!

Trip of a lifetime!

Loucinda_N, Oct 2023
It was amazing trip! Omar was a fantastic guide who went the extra mile giving us a gift from the desert, buying us dates to sample going out of his was to help us. The accommodation was great (we went for standard) and my favourite parts were the desert and et Ben haddou. I was really unsure about what trip to book and looked through so many but I must say you cant go wrong with this one.

The accommodations and food were nice. The camel ride in the Sahara was truly a memorable experience. I'd really recommend it, especially if Fes and Marrakesh are both in your list of places to visit!

Amazing !!!

Veralynn_P, Dec 2022
The tour started with a hotel pick up and made our way to the desert for sunset. Its was breath taking. Also did maybe stop along the way to sightsee. Accomodation were excellent and the food was great. They also organise a driver for me in Marrakesh last minute and were in constant communication with me which I appreciate since am a solo female traveller. Highly recommend, Hassan is the best !!

Simplemente increíble e inolvidable

Belinda_H, May 2024
La experiencia en el campamento en el desierto fue increíble, nuestro conductor y guía Mohamed yaKoivu fue muy bueno y nos brindó una gran experiencia. Muy divertido y sin duda recomendaría las largas horas de camino para vivir la experiencia.
