Captain Carlos was amazing! The boat was super clean and comfortable, and he made the whole experience fun, easy, and relaxing. He took us to the best spots around Icacos and Palomino—crystal clear water, beautiful beaches, and he offered snorkeling but we preferred to lounge on the float by the beach. His attention to detail and local knowledge really made the trip special. Highly recommend this private tour!

Carlos was a great guide and took good care of us. It was great with just 2 of us - we were able to stay in spots longer ir move on if current was too strong for snorkeling.

It is REALLY HARD to beat a great boat day! We went snorkeling, swam with sea turtles, took walks on the beach, and enjoyed hanging out on the boat. Food and drinks were great. Bring UV shirts, hats, sunglasses, and reapply sunscreen generously. The UV is intense!

Best day ever. We had Carlos pick us up from our place an hour away, he gave us so many good recommendations and on the way home even detoured to show us some more spots and authentic food. We had Carlo as our captain who was just as amazing explaining all of the islands and letting us have a blast. 10/10 experience!

The experience was absolutely fantastic!!
The captain yamil made our experience 10x better. He was very entertaining and informative. From seeing sea turtles, meeting new people, & learning about our mini islands. The sandwiches he provided was the cherry on top (delicious!!)

We’re a family of 5 (including 2 teenagers and a preteen), and we wanted to do a snorkeling trip. We looked at the boat tours that include several people, and since there are 5 of us it was going to be a little cheaper to do this personal tour!
We are interested in the fish and turtles, more than the beach. The regular itinerary is 30 minutes of snorkeling, an hour on the beach, a short stop to see turtles from the boat at another location, and then a final location passing through a sandbar that used to be an island.
Jamil was our captain and he was fantastic. We chatted about how we were really all about the fish and turtles, and that my oldest daughter is interested in becoming a marine biologist, so instead of visiting the final stop and sandbar we were able to spend an hour snorkeling in the turtle area, and Jamil was calling directions from the boat when he saw the turtles emerge, so that we were able to find them and swim with them. My youngest didn’t want to be in the water the entire time at the last spot, so she was happy to go back to the boat and see the turtles emerge out of the water. Jamil chatted with her and gave her more info about turtles and the islands.
I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone. It’s a short 10 minute high speed transfer to the location from the marina in Fajardo each way. Most of your time is spent in the water or on the beach. If we had done a generic tour we would not have been able to swim with the turtles, which was a highlight of the trip. We also saw some amazing fish at the turtle area.
Also included- sandwiches, chips, and a cooler full of waters, coke, sprite and beer, snorkel equipment, belts for folks that aren’t strong swimmers, noodles and a lily pad float. You can also control the music on board with your phone.
There is no restroom, but that was not an issue. There’s one in the marina where you start and end your tour.
If/when we come back to Puerto Rico I would honestly do this again, and probably opt for the full day instead of the half day because it was such an amazing experience.
If you’re on the fence, just book it, you won’t regret it!

Really enjoyable experience. Mom, dad, 3 young adult kids had a nice private boat ride out to 3 different locations for snorkeling and swimming. Captain Jamil was very friendly and accommodating. Even chasing and retrieving the football in the water when the receiver missed it. Saw sea turtles and gorgeous views. Whole family loved it!

We loved this tour! We did the all day tour and got to stop at three spots including two islands and a snorkel reef. The captain was super friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and best beaches!

I booked a private boat tour for my birthday. Jamil( sorry if I spelled wrong) was our captain. We were able to bring our own drinks and food onboard. The tour did come with sandwiches, chips, beer, water and soda so we didn’t have to. This tour was hands down a 10/10 and was the highlight of our trip to PR!. We visited 2 separate islands/beaches and were able to get in the water which was sooooooo nice! I will definitely be booking this tour again on my next trip!

The boat is new, spacious and pretty powerful, and captain is very experienced and guided us for a perfect day for family vacation. We stopped at several great locations: snorkeling near Icacos and our whole family (6~68 years old) was able to try it and saw a lot of fish around the coral reef, Icacos beach was the best beach we have seen around PR (even better than Flamenco!), we saw a handful of sea turtles around Island Palominos, and stopped by the sand bar where a scene of movie Pirate of Caribbean used to be shot.

Our tour guide/captain was friendly and informative. He gave us options to spend longer or shorter at each stop. We got to see 2 private islands and a very cool sand bar. We were able to stop along the way to snorkel in a great area with a coral reef and lots of fish. We even got to see numerous sea turtles. Refreshments, sandwiches were provided. The beaches were soft sand and crystal blue water. I would highly recommend and it was worth every penny. My kids enjoyed it.

My family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 5, 7, 10) took this private tour in December 2024. It was the absolute highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. The boat was large and very comfortable, and put me at ease with my 3 kids aboard. As I compared tours some of the boats were smaller and less equipped, and I was happy we were on this boat on a relatively choppy day. Our captain was amazing, made us comfortable, had ample snacks/lunch/beverages on board, and had water floats. A+++ all around, thank you!

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our private boat tour departing from Marina Puerto Chico! From the moment we boarded, everything was smooth, professional, and fun. The captain Carols was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the day.
Our first stop was the stunning reef area off Cayo Icacos, where we enjoyed some of the best snorkeling we've ever done. The water was crystal clear and full of vibrant colorful fish. Kids said they wanted to stay more time here!
After snorkeling, we relaxed on Icacos Beach, a beautiful, remote spot with powdery white sand and turquoise water. It felt like paradise, perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or just taking in the views.
Next, we headed to Isla Palominos, where we had the unforgettable opportunity to see sea turtles in their natural habitat. It was such a peaceful and magical experience to watch them glide gracefully through the water. Our guide was respectful of the wildlife and made sure we observed them safely and responsibly.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico.
