What a great tour. The group was small so we had a very intimate time. Courtney did a marvelous job. She shared a lot of history and exposed us to Scottish food and drink some of which we had never had before. The haggis was outstanding! Make sure that you come hungry as you will leave more than full!

Brilliant, we're really pleased to hear you had a good time on our Edinburgh tour and had some new experiences! Great to hear you loved the haggis, it's a real treat!

Good snacks to try with plenty for the whole group. Interesting history and nicely paced (not too fast or too slow). Tour guide was excellent and well informed.
My only issue is that this tour is listed as wheelchair accessible but unfortunately it isn’t as there is a large set of steps to go down, hilly areas, and tight seating in restaurants that don’t seem equipped to handle wheelchairs.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a lovely review! We're so pleased to hear you had a good time on tour with us. We appreciate you bringing accessibility issues to our attention, we will review this going forward and make sure we improve on this going forward, thank you.

Guide was nice and knowledgeable. Communication ahead of the tour was not clear about where to meet and timing as my tour was cancelled and then rescheduled. The actual amount of food on this food tour includes one small sandwich and a haggis ball. Maybe it’s because I booked a more extensive tour and was told to do this one was I disappointed with the food offerings. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this as a food tour though the history component was interesting. Tour that I got was significantly cheaper than the tour I originally booked and I am still waiting on the refund of the difference - though that might be a problem with the app and not the company.

Really sorry to have received this review following your experience on our Ed Fringe Food Tour.
As the tour you purchased sadly had to be cancelled for operational reasons, you agreed to change to this shorter tour to celebrate the Edinburgh Festival. The meeting point for this tour was different to the original tour meeting point you were sent because it's a completely different tour.
When we spoke during the tour, I gave you my card to contact me to arrange a refund, we knew this would be the quickest way to do it but I haven't heard anything from you in the two days since your experience.
In terms of quantity, this cheaper and shorter tour had 2 slices of Lorne sausage on a large roll, a full serving of haggis, neeps and tatties, Irn Bru and a guided whisky tasting at the end during the 90 minutes.
We are pleased to hear you thought our guide was nice and knowledgeable.
Please do get in touch to arrange your refund as discussed and I look forward to hearing from you, Cameron.

This was a good experience with great Scottish food along with some great history of Edinburgh. Our tour guide Brendon was very personable and knowledgeable and he made the experience memorable. We were stuffed by the end of the tour so make sure you don’t eat before you go!
Response from Host, Aug 2024
Thank you so much for the review! I'll make sure to mention to Brendan that he got a personal recommendation! He'll be delighted!
We try to make sure our guests are well fed and watered as well as entertained by the end of our tour.
Thank you so much and hopefully we will see you again!
