Get picked up at your hotel in Dubrovnik and hop in the air-conditioned vehicle for the 3-hour journey up the stunning Dalmatian Coast to Split, Croatia's second-largest city. As your meander up the coast, drink in the eye-poppingly beautiful views of the coastline and learn about the history of the area from your guide.
In Split, take a 90-minute walking tour of the city, starting at Diocletian's Palace, a beguiling complex that is today part of the fabric of the city with shops and restaurants inside the former palace grounds. Head inside the palace (at own expense), a UNESCO-listed site, to get a closer look. Visit Peristyle Square and the Cathedral of St. Duje (St. Domnius), an octagonal-shaped structure that was originally meant to be Diocletian's mausoleum.
Listen to your guide regale you with tales of the eccentric Roman emperor, Diocletian, and see some spots where scenes from the hit HBO series Game of Thrones were filmed.
After the tour, take three hours to see Split on your own. Get some tips from your guide or set off to wander the streets, perhaps tuck into a hearty seafood lunch at a local restaurant (at own expense).
Eventually meet up with your guide and begin the ride back to Dubrovnik. The trip concludes with a drop-off back at your hotel.

A great way to see Split from Dubrovnik. The guided tour was really good. Harris was an informative guide. It is a long drive, but well worthwhile. There is enough time to see Split and have a nice lunch before returning to Dubrovnik.

The price is way too high compared to other tours. You pretty much pay for a ride to and from Split. Once we arrived in split. Our guide walked us through the old city for 1.5 hours. You had to pay extra to go into the museums or the church. This should be included with the price because the description says we will see this. So you pretty much paid someone to walk you through the city Which you could’ve done yourself with not much history.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful guide. Bo was an impressive young man. Split is beautiful and Dioclesian Palce is interesting and worth visiting. Shops inside however are expensive and overpriced.

There were only two of us on the two and we had a wonderful time! Our driver Dan was very punctual and the van was very comfortable. When we stopped for a rest break on the way to Split, Dan bought is each a coffee. When we reached Split, we met our guide Harris who presented fascinating information as we not pnly explored the Palace of Diocletian but much of the rest of the old town. We had just the right amount of time to see all the sights and have a relaxing lunch. When we returned to the van, Dan had purchased us drinks for our journey back to Dubrovnik. A wonderful outing!

Split Day trip from Dubrovnik is a great choice for first time traveler to Croatia. Diocletian Palace is worth to see. Just my family of 3 in the tour but our driver/guide is very accomodating and professional which makes us feel comfortable. Spectacular view of adriatic sea along the coast as well.

Driver, Daniel was very pleasant and informative. Walking Guide, Ana was very knowledgeable in historical terms but also gave us a real sense of life in Split and Croatia both now and in the past.

Split is beautiful, enjoyed the commentary but the bus ride is too long. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery,our driver was very informative and our guide, Ana was very good. They were both on time and answered all our questions.
They both made our Split visit memorable and I will recommend to our friends.

I can’t give this a high rating. The only decent part of our tour was ANa, the tour guide.
We had reservations for September 11, and were asked to change for September 12. Lucky fir the tour company, we were flexible but it was still a hassle. We WAY overpaid for this trip. Our driver picked us up at 7:15, per the information we had we were planning on a 12 he day, that is what we paid for. But we left Split at 2:30 at the drivers suggestion. So we didn’t get the full 12 hrs and therefore overpaid.
We were in small van and not a comfortable bus like we assumed.
Overall,not impressed. We’d ask for our money back if possible.

Amazing day!! Zack was wonderful, very nice, friendly and knew so much about country and city! He got us to and fro safely. He was flexible and helped plan visit to winery that we really wanted to do.

Our tour guide when we get to split was very nice and knowledgeable. Our driver Zac, the magician was absolutely fun. He made our 6 hrs total ride rather not boring but fun and interesting as he was explaining all the places a long the way with enthusiasm.

Super Tours called me a couple of days ago to switch our Mostar day tour (originally on Monday) to Saturday. Our Split day tour would then be on Monday. We went on the Mostar day tour. On Sunday evening (less than 24 hours for the Split tour) Super Tours sent me an email that someone canceled so therefore they were canceling our day tour to Split. This is just awful as we planned our days in Dubrovnik based on how many tours we would be signing up for. Now I'm paying for an extra hotel night in Dubrovnik (which we didn't need). Our next stop is Florence. I would have added that extra day in Italy. Amazing that the customer isn't allowed to cancel the tour less than 24 hours, but the company can, not even offering me another tour option. Horrible inconvenience; I will never use Super Tours again.

Drachan was our tour driver who got us safely to split and back with adequate information and enough breaks. Local guide in Split was Harris who was okish. We wish we had asked more information on what else to look at during our spare time eg where to buy tickets and stuf. If you want to do a tick box exercise of visiting Split from Dubrovnik, this would be the way of doing it comfortably without added stress. Nothing to complain.

This day trip was exceptional because of the driver Marin who was absolutely the best we have had on this entire trip and every other tour guide was very good also!. He is an excellent driver and on top of that so kind, respectful, professional, and very knowledgeable. It was our last day in Croatia and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Marin for the day tour. He is an exceptional driver and he is obviously a very good person.The trip to Split was beautiful and the guide Haris while in Split was wonderful. On the way back Marin stopped in Ston which was a little slice of heave ...Overall the day trip was the best and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been given Marin as our driver for the day. Tour operator sent text late afternoon (the day before start of tour) to see if I could reschedule. I did not find out that it was actually canceled until 8:00 pm that night. Tried calling them several times to see what was going on. No answer. Terrible customer service. Very little advance notice of cancellation. Will NEVER schedule another Viator trip again! Don’t book with them and open yourself up to such irresponsible treatment!

We had a great drive to Split. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We met our local guide, Anna, in Split. She gave us a very comprehensive history of the town and a great recommendation for lunch (Fife). The promenade is beautiful as well as the entire city. It was a great day!

The transfer from Dubrovnik to Split by Super Tours was effortless and comfortable. Our driver was informative and allowed for enough time to soak in the sights enroute. In Split we were met by a local guide (Harris) who showed us the main sights of Split. The tour departed Pile Gate at 06.40 and returned just after 5pm. We had approximately 4hours to explore Split. Its a great tour for people looking to visit another city while keeping Dubrovnik as their home base

The old town is not as big sd in Dubrovnik but also nice. Lots of
cafes, restsurants and some pubs
give a reason to stay longer.
The guide for the 45min walking tour in the old town gave lots of tips where to go and what to see. With more than 5 hours theres heaos of time to explore or just relaxe in one
of the many restaurants or cafes.
The drive is long but worth it.

If you just want to see what Split looks like because you are short of time, this tour will let you see the center town of Split. Our driver and guide, Ivan and Luka were very nice.

Split is well worth a day trip.
The guide we had for the palace was amazing and really brought the history to life. We had free time after to wander the town it is a beautiful spot along the harbour.
