Itinerary
Meet your local guide in front of your centrally located hotel in Dubrovnik and hop into your private vehicle to begin this fun half-day guided panoramic tour of Dubrovnik. Drive through the streets of the city until your arrival just outside of Pile Gate, one of three entrances to the Old Town, or Stari Grad in Croatian.
Note the thick 12th-century walls that wrap around the Old Town. The walls, that stretch for around 1.2 miles (2 km), have been instrumental in keeping the city safe. Even in the battles of the early 1990s when the city was shelled with bombs.
Take some time to learn from your guide about Onofrio’s Fountain, a multi-faucet drinking fountain connected to a 7.5-mile (12-km) aqueduct that has, for centuries, carried drinking water into the city. Marvel at the nearby Franciscan Monastery, home to one of the oldest still-functioning pharmacies in Europe, as well as a restored sculpture of Michelangelo's La Pietà.
Continue down the Stradun, the limestone-covered main pedestrian street of Dubrovnik and pay a visit to the Sponza Palace, a Renaissance-era structure that houses the state archives. In the main square, have a look at Orlando’s Column, the City Bell Tower, Rector’s Palace and the Church of St Blaise, who is the patron saint of Dubrovnik. Next, visit the Cathedral of the Assumption, a beautiful baroque sanctuary, that was partially rebuilt after an earthquake in the 18th century.
When the walking tour is complete, get back in the comfortable air-conditioned vehicle for a trip to the top of Mt Srđ, the 1,352-foot (412-meter) mountain that towers over the city. At the summit, take some free time to drink in the views of Dubrovnik’s terracotta-tiled rooftops and the Dalmatian Coast, including the island of Lokrum and the distant Elaphite Islands. On a clear day, you can see up to to 37 miles (67 km) away.
Then meet up with your guide again for the drive back to your hotel where your experience ends.

Was told 3 hours and lasted 2 hours. Guides English wasn't great, showed us very little and we were disappointed.

Tour operator changed my tour the day before tour from 9 am to 12 noon. When i realized this happened the tour operator offered no solutions or apologizes. I would never use this company!
Very poor business. It ruined the rest of my plans for the day.

Loved the city and the history behind it. The driver was great and very accommodating. The tour guide was knowledgeable but was speaking relatively flat.

Our guide was very knowledgeable, well spoken, professional and made the tour very interesting with her comments and insights.
Our driver who took us to the site and toured us after the tour of Dubrovnik, was excellent also.

We came to Dubrovnik from a cruise ship. It was convenient for us since the local tour company can pick up us at cruise terminal and brought us back at a later time long after the Old town tour finished so that we have time to ourselves to explore and linger. The driver and the guide are both excellent.

The driving tour to the old fort above Dubrovnik and the war museum were very good. Our driver was excellent, and we had many stops to take incredible photographs.
The walking tour was good but not as informative as some of our past tours. I would not miss the old town, but you don't necessarily need a tour to see it. The biggest advantage was the drop-off and pick-up.

The place is beautiful but they picked us up an hour late and the guide was in a hurry and upset because he was not supposed to carry us. He did not answer our tourist questions because he was only driver not a guide. Then took us to another guide who did the walking part of the tour.

This was a very informative and excellent tour of the coastal city of Dubrovnik. We had two guides. One with a small van to take us up to excellent points of observation around the city and provide detailed information about its history and the importance of its major sights and locations.
He was a very informative man about the recent history of the Balkan states, the last major conflict and the subsequent cultural and economic fallout from the collapse of the former Yugoslavia. His grasp of recent history was very enlightening especially for those of us who are lacking understanding of the rich history of the Croatian people.
We had a separate tour guide through the walled city itself. She was very helpful and gracious as members of our tour were limited in their ability to climb stairs or walk long distances. She gave us an excellent opportunity to enjoy the beautiful location and a good pace without stress.
I would highly recommend this tour to any who are interested in learning about the rich and intriguing history and culture of the region and exploring the beautiful walled city from several different vantage points.

The guides were friendly and informative. Although the weather was cold and windy we enjoyed our tour very much.

Both the driver and tour guide were nice. The guide was knowledgeable and animated. She tried to accommodate our mobility issues.

Good easy walking tour. Comfortable transportation. Recommended although a bit more information and history would have been appreciated.
