The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Fantastic communication, lovely hosts, efficient pick up in Dubrovnik from our hotel. Lots of advice on places to eat and visit in Dubrovnik. Horses were safe and friendly. Lovely ranch of animals. Gorgeous experience through and through. Would have loved to do the longer ride. Next time. Lovely scenery. Lovely post ride spread of food and drink

I had the absolute BEST time at the Mali Raj horse riding centre in Konavle. I was made to feel so welcome by the hosts as well as all the beautiful animals they have there. The ride was perfect and the trek ended with beautifully presented drinks and tapas. I definitely plan to go back when I return to Croatia. Xx

We recently went on a horse riding trip and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was thoughtfully organised and professionally run. Antea & Iris were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring we felt safe and confident throughout the ride. The horses were well cared for and trained very well. We were complete beginners but we're made to feel safe, supported and reassured throughout. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. It was peaceful and tranquil, allowing us to really connect with nature. Iris & Antea shared fascinating insights about the local area, offered helpful riding tips, and maintained a fun, relaxed atmosphere. On our return we were treated to a selection of local delicacies, wine and elderflower drink. They even were kind enough to give me a vegetarian selection. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors in a unique and memorable way. I’m already looking forward to my next ride!

Great experience. From pick up through to drop off the hosts were very welcoming and congenial. They have a small ranch with horses, goats, dogs and cats; very hospitable offering bread, cheese, figs, grapes etc with family brewed wine and liquors. Horse riding was straightforward and felt safe; we wished we had booked the longer half-day trip where you get to ride through a river! (Apparently you can find this listed as alternative experience in Viator). Everyone in our family (including two teenagers) agreed we all liked this trip.

The activity was amazing! The pick-up and organisation of the day made the event stress-free. The organisers were extremely inviting, hospitable and knowledgeable about horses and animals. My partner and I went for a ride around the mountains with the beautiful horses. We're beginner riders and they were calm.

Antea was exceptionally knowledgeable and professional, taking the time to ensure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. The private ride was customised beautifully to suit our experience level, and we learned so much about the local area, culture, and horses along the way. Speaking of horses — every single one was calm, well-trained, and clearly very well cared for. Riding through the Croatian countryside on these majestic animals was like stepping into a dream. And the food! We were treated to local delicacies that were absolutely to die for. Fresh, authentic, and made with love — each bite was a taste of Croatia's rich culinary heritage and the local drinks, which I’ve forgotten the name already. Sorry! We honestly cannot wait to return. From the very convenient experience being picked up from hotel, the scenic and informative drive to the ranch, the elderflower water waiting for me (which I need to figure out how to make), the friendly horse and the beautiful and peaceful ride and the refreshments waiting after…it was the perfect morning. Antea, her mother, and Andrea were awesome! We had such a lovely time, and felt so warmly welcomed! Her mother picked us up from our hotel in town and shared a ton of great local info on great spots to eat and sight see! Antea was very knowlageble and professional with handling the horses, and was a warm, funny host! They shared local snacks as well as homemade wine and Rakija with us after the ride. We felt like we were just hanging out with some friends! If you want an authentic, local experience, this is it! Truly a wonderful time!

My family and I loved everything about this experience. From the initial booking to the drop off at the end and everything in between. This Mother/Daughter team were some of the most hospitable. We felt like we were visiting family. Riding and learning about the horses and the countryside was a bonus. If we ever get to come back to Croatia we will go see them again and do an extended tour.
