We were a group of five sharing a bucket list trip. We had so much fun in this pub tour with Shane as our guide! He is so knowledgeable, personable and engaging. He took us to some local pubs in the beautiful Wicklow mountains and told us about some of the beers and ciders served in each pub. He also had us singing along to some Irish tunes during the drive. We could not have asked for a better guide and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this tour with Shane!

Shane did an amazing job. From the time when he introduced himself we knew we were going to have an amazing time. The van was roomy and we had great music to listen to in between pubs. Along the way Shane shared lyrics and got us ready for our live music at the last stop. The pubs were all amazing, Blue Light, Johnie Fox's, Tochar House, Glenmalure, Phelan Grocer and Hibernia to finish. Each place had an incredible story and lots of good rural culture to enjoy. Beers and drinks were all reasonably priced and the food at the Glenmalure was delicious. You will definitely miss out if you do not schedule this tour!!

Shane is a delightful host and guide. We were taken to six lovely pubs. Along the way Shane shared his extensive knowledge of the area, Irish brews and whiskeys. Highly recommend this small group tour!!

This pub tour was just what we were looking for. The tour was guided by Shane who was amazing. We learned a ton about beer, whiskey, gin, and real Irish pubs. Highly recommend this tour to get out of the touristy Dublin Pubs.

Shane is a gem! I am so glad we booked this tour, it was the best part of our trip to Dublin. Getting out of the city and visiting much less touristy pubs and listening to trad music I feel gave us a much richer experience than if we had just stayed in the city.
Shane is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to music and beer, which is exactly what we signed up for!

Had a wondeful time! The tour guide, Shane, did an amazing job, he kept us laughing with his wit, but also educated us on the history of beer, whiskey, and Ireland. The pubs themselves were great with a lot of character and stories behind them. Highly recommend the tour.

My husband & I had low expectations for this tour, beyond hoping to see some nice views and have some drinks along the way. Wow - our expectations were wayyyy too low. This was hands down, the best experience we’ve done this trip (and we’ve been to the Gap of Dunloe, Giant’s Causeway, Dunlace Castle, Cliff’s of Moher, Dublin everything … and have absolutely loved it all!!!). We spent the day with 14 strangers (including Shane, our tour guide, who we will never visit Ireland again without seeing), who ended up being family. We sang, we saw incredible sights, we talked, we laughed, we shared, we ate, we listened, and yes - we enjoyed some drinks. We had people on the tour who didn’t drink alcohol and were truly just as much a part of the group as anyone else. We had younger people. We had older people. We had men & we had women. We had solo travelers and we had couples and some larger friend groups. We had people from across the globe. And the best part? It was a day of strangers who hadn’t yet become friends. And we sure are now. I will never forget this experience. The pubs were incredible. Without this tour, we’d have never gone so far into the mountains to visit these special gathering places. We mixed and talked to locals we would have never otherwise been able to meet. We listened to incredible musicians. Incredible musicians, I just have to say it again. We ate AMAZING food. I have a horrible food allergy and I can’t stop thinking about how hard Shane worked to make sure I had a delicious meal. I mean, I have a food allergy for crying out loud! I have NO expectation that anyone needs to cater to such a unique issue. I wasn’t going on the tour to eat - I was going to enjoy the rest of the tour. But Shane? He wouldn’t hear of it - no matter how much I reassured him that I was entirely okay without a meal. And the meal? Wow. Incredible - thanks only to Shane and the wonderful restaurant who was messaging with him via text before we got there to make sure I had a beautiful meal. We saw sights that will be in my head forever. It was the easiest, most fun day I’ve ever had. My husband and I woke up the next morning, laughing and smiling … we had pictures and memories of new friends that have become family. And Shane, our amazing leader. God smiled on this human … because he is truly one of a kind. Funny, witty, kind-hearted, a memory of gold. He is a beautiful human and I am forever better because of him. My husband agrees. I still don’t know what we did right in the world to have found this human & this insanely awesome tour - but we’ve now joined the group of lucky humans who will never come back to Ireland without doing this tour. Do not miss this! Whatever you do with your precious time & money in Ireland, do not miss this experience. Two days later & I’m still in awe. Thank you, dear Shane and our forever friends!!!

What a great tour!! Don’t know how I haven’t done this better, but will repeat the next time I am in Dublin. It was a super fun way to see the outskirts of Dublin, the Wicklow mountains and all of the rural pubs! Shane was a fantastic guide! Super fun and informative. He included history and information about all the beers and cider and alcohol served at the different pubs. He really made it fun even being in the bus. Everyone started off shy and he really built a community in the eight or nine hours you’re together. I recommend this tour!!

What an excellent adventure! If you are looking for a fun filled day with a little history, great scenery, awesome drink selection and a wonderful host (Shane), then you’ve come to the right spot. Great way to meet a few new friends and mingle with some locals, all while sampling good old faithful drinks as well as some brilliant new ones. I must admit the karaoke party on the way home is a genius idea and Shane really makes the whole day lovely. This is what all pub crawls should emulate. “I’m on a boat!”
