I can honestly say this is the most fantastic experience we have booked in Dubai. Our guide was so polite, friendly and had great knowledge of the land and the animals. The interaction with the birds of prey was incredible. We really enjoyed the ride on the beautiful camels. The breakfast was enormous and delicious. We finished with the safari where we saw Oryx and Gazelle. Thank you to all the staff from booking to the actual experience. All professional and made this such a magical trip.

Amazing Eco-Friendly Desert Safari – Highly Recommend!I had a fantastic experience on this desert safari, and I highly recommend it! From the start, communication was excellent—the company confirmed my pickup time the day before, and Norman, our guide, arrived promptly at 5:15 AM. Norman was super friendly and very chatty, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
The itinerary was well thought out and unique. We started by visiting a camel racing track, which was fascinating to see in action. The falcon display was impressive, and the tribal stick dancing added a great cultural touch. Breakfast was delicious and set in a beautiful desert setting. The highlight for me was the wildlife safari, where we saw native animals in their natural habitat.
I specifically chose this company because they focus on eco-friendly tourism and avoid activities like ATV riding that damage the dunes. It was wonderful to explore the desert responsibly while still having an exciting and memorable experience.

Our tour guide Riaz was the best! he took care of us the entire way telling us the history of the conservation area, some history of UAE, and all about the flora and fauna of the desert. the work with the birds of prey was phenomenal. a highlight of my life to get up close with these beautiful creatures. the entire team deserves a round of applause for an excellent experience. A must do on any trip to Dubai!

In all honesty there were many things that I didn’t end up liking in Dubai, but this tour was the absolute saving grace as it was an incredible experience.
Our tour guide Jay was absolutely excellent - extremely knowledgeable, witty and the perfect balance of being a professional doing their best work and “a friend showing you around town”. Absolutely top marks, incredible bloke.
The activities as a part of the tour were all amazing.
The falconer was also fantastic in his demonstrations, explanations, knowledge and care, making the demonstrations and interactive sections a wonderful highlight. Was extremely impressed at how much they genuinely care for their birds as well - they aren’t just tools to draw in tourists, but powerful and respected creatures.
The breakfast was excellent, with a mix of traditional food and fruits presented in one of the camps in the area.
We were able to ride camels for about 5-10 minutes around a small area, which while a short trip was a great bite sized go. It doesn’t sound like much time, but it a) means the camels aren’t just slaving away for hours carrying people all day and b) means you don’t get to enjoy the practical side of riding a camel without getting a sore backside after. Again from what it seemed the camels are well looked after and cared for.
Finally a ride around the conservation reserve was really cool and informative, learning about the Oryx’s and other wildlife of the area. It is really impressive how this setup is nature conscious and keen to be as sustainable as possible (despite the 1950s diesel land rovers, there is a lot of work going into using solar energy for power and water in smart ways).
No judgement on anyone who enjoys it, but I think the opulence of Dubai overall isn’t my vibe. This tour however felt like the exact opposite - a real natural salve. Of course you can’t really know what something is like under the surface of what you see as a tourist coming in to any of these kinds of things, but this tour felt genuine, really interesting and full of care, and not a “grab for money” if you like. 100% recommend, the best thing we did in Dubai by a wide margin.

The bird show was really exciting. We generally liked the dessert and the fact that everyone was so friendly. One small downer was that everything was so short. It felt a bit like things were being ticked off one after the other. It would have been nicer if we had done less, but done it more intensively.

We loved the entire experience from beginning to end. Ali our guide was so informative and the entire staff were friendly and fun. We got to hold the Falcon and fly the owl and an eagle! The camel ride was fun and the breakfast was delicious. The ride through the reserve to see the Onyx in the open jeeps was the perfect ending to a brilliant morning. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to experience the desert of Dubai.

From start to finish this was the best tour I have been on whilst away on holiday - and I've been on several over the years! Platinum Heritage are very professional and customer service superb. They got in touch beforehand to discuss different options when minimum numbers might not be met and helped me make decisions. In the end I could go the day and tour I wanted but good of them to warn in advance just in case so I had time to rearrange my week if needed.
The tour itself was simply amazing. Got to see not only a falcon but desert owl and harrier hawk close up - when I say that, I mean close as in on the end of my arm! This tour with the full interactive birds of prey is a must in my opinion rather than the 15 talk done on the beduin one. We got educated by the knowledgeable guide and could work with the birds ourselves. Having the hawk fly through the circle I made with my arms was the highlight of my whole holiday. The lavish breakfast wasn't bad either! I haven't even mentioned the safari drive.
Don't hesitate in booking this tour.
