Our Dubai sand dunes tour with Trawey Tours was fantastic, all thanks to Anwar. He made sure we were comfortable throughout and captured lots of great photos and videos. The quad bike experience was amazing with single and double ride options, plus professional-quality videos while riding. There was also a small camel ride included, and the dune bashing was absolutely thrilling. Truly excellent service—highly recommend Anwar and Trawey Tours!

The trip from start to finish was amazing. Communication between the tour operator was exceptional. Our guide Shahim went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. He is very knowledgable and made sure we were entertained with fun facts about dubai and the emirates during our trip. Pickup and drop-off was a breeze from our hotel. A brilliant morning, expertly organised. We were picked up by our guide Usman who was on time and clear on pick up instructions. From our hotel we were driven to the venue which took 50 minutes. First stop was quad biking, we bought head scarfs that were put on by the team and had 30 minutes flying around on the sand. From there we had a short camel ride before being taken on the sand for the dune bashing. They tell you in advance but it's worth repeating, don't eat a lot beforehand unless you want to see it again! Usman was clearly an expert and we flew all around the dunes. We then stopped for some sand surfing which was great fun, but be careful, the sand is a hard landing area! From there we went back briefly to base to de-sand before the drive back to Dubai. All in all a great experience that we all loved. The price was very reasonable for all the different activities. There is a bit of additional selling but nothing too bothersome, there are clean toilet facilities and a drink vendor for coffee, juice and water.

Done these tours many times before and always had an amazing time. This time we were booked on the desert safari with Quad bikes... my advice.. dont opt for this one! It was VERY VERY slow..and you dont really get to drive in your own. it lasted only 15 minutes (instead of the 35 mins we paid for). We had to follow a guide and we barely got moving....stop start stop start and not exciting at all. It wa so disappointing.... We stopped after 5 mins of slow driving for a photo with a guy with the falcon..and this was a real dampener.. it was an extremely hard sell for giving tips to the guy with the falcon.. it went on for 10 mins.. and totally killed the mood. We were in the middle of the desert... not quad biking... but arguing over the tips and eating much into our drive time... he was there with his creidt card machine! ..in the middle of the desert! Unbelievably we then slowly headed back to base and I was MORTIFIED it was over!! . What a waste! Don't do this desert safari. Do the "on your own driving in the pen" instead. At least you can drive without going less than 5mph...and you get much better value!!!! A few stars despite this awful desert safari experience because our driver Anwar was Amazing as usual. Patient, friendly and all round great guy! Brilliant driver dune bashing and guiding us though the sand boarding!

All three events - Quad bikes, bashing, and boarding were unique and a lot of fun. Everyone can do it. the desert is really beautiful and if your only exposure is Dubai then you should go out and see it. Mujeeb, our driver took great care of us and we always felt comfortable... even when sliding down a sand dune. Ali the photographer was able to capture all the fun for us and it was so worth having him take pictures

From the moment we were picked up, he was professional, punctual, and welcoming, setting the tone for an incredible experience from start to finish. His driving was outstanding, confident, smooth, and clearly very experienced. The dune bashing was thrilling but always felt safe and well-controlled, which made it even more enjoyable. It was obvious he knew the desert terrain extremely well and handled everything with skill and precision. What really stood out, though, was Usman’s hospitality. He was friendly, respectful, and attentive throughout, checking in on us regularly, explaining what to expect, and making sure everyone was comfortable. He was also happy to help with photos and made the whole experience feel easy and well-organized. If you’re booking a Dubai desert safari, I highly recommend requesting Usman. An excellent driver and an even better host he turned a great activity into an exceptional memory.

Shan, our guide and driver for the morning was very good - the kids loved it! We did the quad biking outside (which cost extra but was worth it), camel riding, sandboarding and dune bashing.

Great experience for the family. The scarves they will sell you are a bit pricey but make the pictures colorful and will help keep the grit off your teef. Pleasant guides who will use your phone to take many pics and vids, easy transportation to and from. There was a falconer there which made for great pics with his falcon but be prepared to pay him about $20 US.

It was truly worth it—I enjoyed all my desert activities without any rush, and there was plenty of time for each one. Quad biking was my favorite, especially when we drove into the open desert. The dune bashing was also an amazing experience. We even booked a photographer from the same team, and he followed us throughout the activities, capturing everything beautifully. The morning trip out to the desert was a great experience. Picked up at our hotel our trip was with our family of four (kids 5 & 8) and another couple. About 4 hours total, prob just the right amount of time. Our driver Shan looked after us super well door-to-door as we enjoyed the different experiences of the tour. The dune buggy was definitely a highlight and our kids loved driving through the desert in it. One tip, anything that's not included in your tour, make sure you ask for the price upfront. Things like holding the Falcons, scarfs etc. A must do experience when visiting Dubai!
