We had a great trip to the desert, with many attractions at great prices. Quad bike ride, photo in the desert, photo with falcon, Camel ride, Jeep ride on the dunes, dinner with shows! Our driver Munir was super kind and efficient! The staff in general is very helpful. Absolutely recommended!!

Very well executed. Manoj was an excellent tour leader. He ensured you got to experience everything in the package which was very extensive and done very well. We had a great time and got to do a lot. 100% worth it. Oh…and Manoj knows exactly what to do where the photos are concerned. He nailed every shot. Food was great. All the staff were incredibly helpful. Definitely recommend.

Itinerary

Your tour begins with afternoon pickup from your Dubai hotel or residence and a scenic, around 1-hour drive out into the Dubai Desert. On arrival, depending on the tour option chosen, you’ll hop aboard an individual or shared ATV (quad bike) for a thrilling 10-, 30-, or 60-minute tour through the desert.

Follow your guide on a fun self-drive tour before swapping your ATV for a private or shared 4WD Jeep and enjoying a 45-minute dune-bashing excursion. Hold on tight as your driver speeds up and down the high dunes, providing spectacular views and thrills.

Afterward, return to the luxury Bedouin-style safari camp, where you can enjoy activities, including a short camel ride, sandboarding, and henna tattoo painting. Tuck into a delicious BBQ dinner as you watch the live Tanura and belly dance show, sample Arabic sweets, or try “hookah shisha” At the end of the evening, you’ll be dropped back at your Dubai accommodations.

You are booked on sharing basis hence all the co participants must cooperate with each other. Priority must be given for senior citizens for the front seats. Parents with children who are less than 12 years are only allowed to sit in rear seat as per the UAE Law. Driver will be the master of the roaster in allocating the seats. Alternatively the co-passengers must sort out among themselves by shifting equal time on the preferred seats. No prior request for the seats will be entertained since everyone pay the same. Anyone who does not agree to the seating allocation may request for an exclusive jeep by paying the supplementary charges directly

Quad bikes are insured in UAE for an limited liability. In an unlikely situation accident take place, police must be informed and must collect the accident report, The bike rider must ride the bike at own risk and strictly follow the instructions and the leader. No prior training or experience is required to ride the bike.
Accidents or damages from the self-riding activity will be the sole responsibility of the rider & passenger. The participant must responsible for any injury he/she has inflicted on him/herself or on others from the usage of ATVs. An orderly behavior must be maintained and shall not disturb other participants knowingly or unknowing .

Excellent desert safari experience from start to finish! Everything was very well organized. The package included hotel pick-up and drop-off, exciting dune bashing, beautiful sunset photography, camel ride, sand skiing, and shisha. At the camp we enjoyed Arabic dates, snacks, soft drinks, mineral water, and a great BBQ dinner. The entertainment was excellent as well — belly dance, Tanoura show, and fire show. Special thanks to our driver Razak — he did a fantastic job. Very professional, friendly, and made the dune bashing both fun and safe. Highly recommend this tour and service!

Great time in the dessert

First off, Rasheed was awesome! He picked us up in a Toyota seven seater SUV and was great company on the ride. The fun began as soon as we reached the desert. He let some of the air out of the tires and drove down the sand dunes like a maniac. We loved it! The gift shop was nice. We all bought scarves and a woman who worked in the shop tied them for us for $3. I thoroughly enjoyed ATV riding, sand surfing, and the short camel ride. Getting off the camel was hilarious! The barbecue dinner was delicious! We upgraded so that we could sit higher up in chairs versus on the ground. It was worth it. I highly recommend this tour and Rasheed especially!

The overall activity experience was great. The place was not very crowded, not too many guests. Our guide Manoj, was a super guy. We enjoyed our Dune Bashing with him. The live performances were also great. 5 start worthy but the BBQ dinner was a low point, because the food was cold and dry (the grilled meat items).

Our driver Manoj was wonderful!! The desert driving was seriously impressive — high-level expertise that made the ride both thrilling and safe. You could tell we were in very capable hands as we navigated the dunes. The shows were added to the atmosphere of the evening. And the food — there was so much of it, and it was absolutely delicious! The ATVing was an absolute highlight. So much fun and definitely worth it — I highly recommend booking the full hour if you can. Overall, an unforgettable desert adventure!

Desert safari with 30 Mins quad bike- expensive & not the best organized.

As a group of 5 (3 kids -10 years old to 15 years old) and 2 adults)- we signed up for this safari / inc 30 mins quad bike. A very nice driver Picked us on time at 3:00 pm from the hotel and drove for an hour to the meeting point of the land cruiser- we had to wait for 20 mins there for the next driver- once he picked us, his dune bashing was brilliant for 20-25 mins- he also stopped for 10 mins photo break. Then we went quad biking- i stayed back in the track (by the tent area) and the rest went to open desert. They got back from a different route and noone told me that they were back. No staff was around me either but I finally got stopped after 50 mins by a staff when the sun was setting. When the sun fully set, we started doing camel ride - as a group of 5, four of us did the ride (2 on each camel) and I was left behind- it was very rushed and unorganised Time wise, which was quite shocking. For it being a private camp, premium package, timings should have been taken into consideration by the company (ABC Tours) and perhaps they should have picked us from the hotel earlier. They had very few staff visible and the communication wasn’t the best. Then we went to do sandboarding with one staff member who was continuously on his mobile phone doing personal calls. He was very unenthusiastic and unprofessional, not very interested to show us this activity properly. Only two of my children took one round and we could hear the entertainment starting so we left that and ran to have a seat. The camp was completely dead and had zero atmosphere as very few people were there. Prior to this, in the early afternoon before leaving our hotel, someone started text messaging me from the company trying to upsell me the premium Seating for extra 250 dirhams and then slowly haggled to 220 dirhams (around £44)- i paid them cash at the camp. When we got our vip booth, it was very confusing as non vip seating (all on table and chairs as well) was much better direct facing towards the stage- our vip booth seating had a side view. It was so so few people that i would never ever have purchased this extra vip package of £44, had i known the setup beforehand. Due to very less people, the queues to the food were minimal as well further reducing the need for a vip package. So we would have coped perfectly fine with a basic non vip package as we had already paid £51.69 per person. The food variety was excellent (pitta bread, humous, samosas, salad etc at the start. Then the barbecue came to our table, the barbecue stand felt flimsy and a bit dangerous around kids. The barbecue food was quite bland. The buffet was set in a small Room and had a good variety with salads, noodles, rice and some dessert and arabic tea in the end. They also had a private photographer taking photos and selling them for around £10 per print (and digital Copy)- we did not use that service. The entertainment was 3 people altogether - the first guy doing sufi dance with lights and was very good. The last guy with fire show was absolutely excellent and deserves a pay rise. The belly dancer was very disappointing and the worse that I have ever seen unfortunately. They had a henna lady doing henna and unfortunately she wasn't very good at all either. Overall the desert safari experience was ok but at such a premium price, their timings needed to Be much better so we can actually do the activities in day light and enjoy them (no point upselling all the activities when we can not even do them). Also please don’t rip People off with that vip package as its totally pointless in this situation for your private camp where there are very few people anyway. Hope our suggestions will be taken into account and your company will make some fundamental improvements to enhance the experience for your guests. Thanks

From the beginning, you repeatedly told our staff that you had some personal issues, which we would not like to disclose here, and you continuously projected that frustration onto the team. While we respect your personal situation, it is not the responsibility of a tour operator to provide a dedicated babysitter for your children. You even wrote in our handwritten review that you expected someone to stay with your kids at all times. That is not part of any safari package anywhere. Your children were repeatedly reported for unruly behavior, disturbing other guests and mishandling camp property. Other tourists felt uncomfortable due to their behavior. Our staff still remained patient and professional throughout. Regarding the BBQ , we are the only camp offering live sizzling grills on the table, a feature highly appreciated by guests for over 20 years. No one has ever called it dangerous. If supervision is required, that is the responsibility of the parent, not the company. Our food is prepared to international standards with mild seasoning; if you prefer stronger spices, that is a personal preference, not a service failure. For the quad bikes, you received exactly what you paid for 30 minutes. You were inexperienced and chose to remain in the circuit while others rode in the open desert. When your time ended, you refused to stop and argued with staff. Despite this, your underage child was even given an opportunity to ride in a safe circuit ,something most companies would never allow. Henna is provided according to the package inclusions. You expected more than what was included but were unwilling to pay extra. Complimentary services are not unlimited. Regarding the camel ride, four camels were available, each accommodating two people. You were five people, and arrangements were made accordingly. We cannot alter the physical structure of a camel to suit one group’s preference. The premium lounge was optional. No one forced you to purchase it. It is a subsidized premium service created to offer a five-star style experience in the desert. Complaining about it after voluntarily choosing it is unreasonable. You repeatedly used the word “private” throughout your review. You did not book a private safari, nor did you pay for private staff, private activity coordinators, or private photographers. Expecting private-level service from a shared package is unrealistic. In short, the services delivered were exactly as advertised and paid for. Your review reflects personal dissatisfaction and unmanaged expectations, not service failure. We stand by the quality of our operations and the professionalism of our staff. Thank You Team ABC

Rasheed, did an EXCELLENT job!! He was very kind and patient. Any questions I had, he answered very well. He provided very useful answers and information. The desert safari was very well organized. All of the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I don't remember his name , but he was providing assistance with sand boarding. He was very friendly as well and easy to talk to. He provided some information about some of the developments in Dubai. The ladies working in the gift shop were friendly as well. Rasheed very good safari guide, perfect ride, took good photos of us. Overall nice experience, good food, sandbashing, atv roding, evening shows. Highly recomendes experience when visiting Dubai.

I had an amazing experience with Desert Safari ATV! From start to finish, everything was well organized and enjoyable. The camel ride was one of the highlights — such a peaceful and authentic desert experience. The sand boarding was super fun and exciting, especially for adventure lovers. The live activities were entertaining and kept everyone engaged throughout the evening. Dinner was absolutely delicious with a great variety of food to choose from. What an incredible experience from start to finish! Our driver Rasheed Ali was the absolute highlight — he read our group perfectly and pushed the dune bashing to exactly the right level of intensity. Thrilling without ever feeling unsafe, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. The quads in the open desert were unreal — 60 minutes flies by but you get enough time to actually find your confidence and explore the dunes properly. Not some fenced circuit, actual open desert. Then the camp: camel ride, shisha, BBQ dinner under the stars — the whole package delivered exactly what was promised. Highly recommend booking the 60-min quad option, it’s worth every extra dirham.

We had a really enjoyable Dubai desert safari experience! The dune bashing was exciting and definitely a highlight. The ATV quad ride was fun, although we only rode for about 30 minutes instead of the full hour, but we still had a great time. The camel ride was a nice cultural touch, and the evening entertainment created a fun atmosphere. The BBQ food was not our favorite, but we were still grateful for the meal and the overall experience. What truly stood out was our driver, he was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, professional, and shared so much helpful information about Dubai during pickup and drop-off. We learned a lot and felt very well taken care of. Overall, a memorable experience we’re glad we did!

We had an awesome time at this tour where we got a ride to the dessert; did dune bashing which was where our expert driver Rasheed Ali drove around the dunes at exciting speeds; rode ATVs around the dessert; sandboarded down a hill; rode camels; had a delicious mezze platter and BBQ dinner; and watched a dancing and fire show. The whole experience was absolutely awesome and the guides did a great job making the experience feel safe and exciting. Really great experience. Easy pick up and transfer, driver was helpful and drove safely. The dune bashing was exhilarating and great fun. Plenty of photo opportunities given. Quad biking was brilliant, a good amount of time spent on the quads. Dinner was pleasant, we upgraded to VIP seating which was worth it.
