Mosques & Palace have very strict dress codes: women must wear long loose clothing, and ensure their arms and legs are fully covered. Women are also required to cover their heads at all times. For Mosque visit a long Abaya with scarf (long black dress attire) will be provided by the tour operator if needed which must be returned back; Men must not show above their knees and must cover their shoulders. Failure to do so will be a refused entry. The tour operator cannot provide any clothing for men

It is not possible to visit the Sheikh Zayed Mosque during any Islamic festival.
It is not recommended to book this tour on Friday if you have a return flight on the same day, as the drop-off time is dependent on traffic and can not be guaranteed.
Lunch not included - you will be given time for lunch (at your own expense). Restaurants will not be available during the month of Ramadan, it is recommended to carry some snacks with you.
During any Presidential Events, Qasr Al Watan might shut down to the public without any previous announcements as it is a national palace, but will be replaced with Qasr Al Hosn or Heritage Village (whichever available on that day)

Worst tour guide ever! Do not waste your money!

Make sure you download WHATSAPP no one informed me of this so thankfully I already had it on my phone. Driver messaged me the evening before saying to be in the hotel lobby at 840AM he arrived at 807AM & we departed at 830AM. Upon entering the MINI VAN we were the only passengers however the entire vehicle reeked of body odor & two flies kept hitting us in the face. The driver didn’t introduce himself or advise us of our 1st destination and when I asked him he just said to the mosque. I had rolled my window down due to the potent smell, constant fly attacks, & lack of air flow but the driver singled for me to roll it up & open a vent that was just pushing the nasty smell into my face. 90 minuets later we pulled up to a second hotel & the driver told us as best he could to climb into the back seat. We attempted to decline as my husband is over 6 foot tall & Im only a few inches beneath him we asked to stay where we were or use the front seat he declined saying a family of 4 was coming. So we kept having to climb in the back hunched over with no window at all at every stop. We waited over 30 mins in the back of a van at 10am to pick up a family of 5 not 4! This driver crammed in 8 people (6 adults/teenagers 1 baby & 1 toddler) into a MINI VAN with a stroller & over 5 pieces of luggage! & put the teenager in the front seat! But that was just the beginning! There was no music, no tour guide, no information on landmarks we were passing or even suppose to visit, no communication on where to next or anything besides a CRYING BABY/TODDLER that kept spitting & climbing everywhere cause they surely wasn’t using a seat belt let alone a car seat. Since the driver (cause he’s not a tour guide) doesn’t speak I had no clue our first stop was Corniche! He just parked on the side of the highway opened the doors and said to take pics. We were back in the van within 5 minuets this stop was suppose to be 10 minuets. Second & third stop that never happened was when we attempted to enter THE EMIRATES PALACE & THE PRESIDENTIAL PALACE the driver was turned around by a guard at the gate saying they BOTH were closed for visitors today and would reopen tomorrow! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! The tour guide should've knew this in advance & informed us and we could've booked for the following day! Both of these stops were suppose to come to 45 minuets but were ZERO. The driver didn’t speak English well at all so there was an extreme language barrier which also is unacceptable as this clearly states we would have a tour guide in ENGLISH. Most of the time he would just respond yes to my questions regarding what was going on even when the answer was no or ignore me altogether. 2nd stop we were only allowed 15 mins at heritage village when we were suppose to get 30 minutes. I had to ask again no communication or info provided whatsoever. 3rd stop was the Date Market 15 minuets complete waste of time, overpriced, and you will be pushed by the workers to go into every store that all has the same thing fruits & dates! The driver had no intention on stopping by the Louvre museum or Ferrari World showing me on his phone because he CANT communication with me that they “require tickets” which I was already aware of; however, this tour was suppose to include stops at both for at least a photo. I had to basically force him to stop at the museum and when he did he parked and had us walk all the way to the front instead of dropping us at the front for a quick photos opportunity. The other family had to come ask me what they were suppose to be doing and if they could buy tickets to go inside the museum to which I responded no this is just a quick pass by for a photo opportunity. The next stop was the mosque. I asked the tour guide if he was coming in with us to actually be a tour guide for once and show us around he said yes and then asked for my phone to take a picture of my entrance ticket… & then we were on our own…. He told us to meet him in 1 hour at the entrance. The mosque turned me away saying my abaya was transparent when it wasn’t I had on over 2 layers of white but nonetheless I had to pay 45 for one of there’s even though I saw many other women with completely sheer abayas on so I was not pleased about that either. The mosque offers a headset for an audio tour for 20 each. It kept glitching and was hard to hear through my head covering but at least I got a little information on what I was visiting. If you bring your own headphones you can share one with two people. When we exited the mosque we couldn’t find the driver anywhere! He was not at the entrance where he advised us to meet him at 2:10pm. At this point we got picked up at 8:30am and it was now past 2:00pm and we haven’t been offered any water or told when we would break for lunch or anything. I perviously reached out to the company asking about food since this was an 8hr tour and they advised me the tour guide would stop for lunch at our own expense. Since he was no where to be found I took this opportunity to stop at a fast food restaurant next to the exit of the mosque. He popped up in less than 15 minutes and told me we had 10 minuets to leave! 25 minuets was not enough time to order my food have it prepared and eat it! I literally had to take my chicken wrap back to the stinky van where the driver finally offered us a bottle of water after over 7 hours. At this point you can imagine I was tracking our location and the driver still attempted to bypass Ferrari World! I informed him again it was included in the tour and we needed to stop there. He allowed 30 minutes here when it was suppose to be an hour and again he was no where to be found after the 30 minuets was up anyway. This was a complete waste of time and money! We had our own rental car and only booked this tour so we could have a tour guide available to provide information on all our stops. Do not waste your money we would have much rather drove ourselves had we knew this would’ve been the experience.
