The layover city tour of Dubai with Tamour was fantastic. We had a little taster of the amazing Dubai taking in many of the tourist spots in the few hours of layover time. As seasoned travellers, we rarely come across a City Tour which leaves you speechless at its conclusion. This is one of those rare gems but in our experience it is not the tour itself: our 5-Star Rating is because of our fabulous, kind, considerate & highly professional tour guide/driver, Mohammed! When you book ASK for him, on your private tour. We could write endless words describing our truly wonderful day but we’ll try and express our thoughts in the following. Mohammed, contacted us a number of times prior to pick-up, we had a really nice vehicle with beautiful AC, endless bottles of water, lots of stops for photos, etc. One of the first things he did was to discuss his broad plan for the 8-hours allotted & then we all agreed on a plan which he executed, but always asking us if we wanted to go here or there. Mohammed has definitely found his calling in life: we joked several times with him, asking “is there anything you don’t know about Dubai & the UAE?”: No is the answer: he was a walking encyclopaedia of knowledge & fun facts! He got us to all the tourist & non-tourist areas & attractions with ease: we never opened our wallet for anything: everything was organised including ‘skip the line’ for the Burj Khalifa (unbelievable experience). He even got us to the Dubai Mall & showed us around including the water show & an incredible neon light show on the Burj & other buildings: we went way over our time, but not for a second did Mohammed give us the impression that he wanted our tour to end: we were all having such a memorable time. Well as you can now see why Mohammed must be sourced for your Dubai Private Day Tour: we hope The UAE has an awards night for the very best tour guides being recognised! If it were up to us he would receive the Gold Award of Excellence! This is sooo easy to rate the highest possible 5-Star rating & to HIGHLY recommend this tour with this guide. We appreciated for his answers to our questions on culture and beliefs.
