Start your experience with an early evening hotel pickup in Dubai, and travel by shared, air-conditioned minivan to the departure pier on Dubai Creek.

On arrival, admire the light-festooned wooden dhow boat that will take you on your cruise. Then, be welcomed by the crew as you step aboard and take in the sights from the open-air, upper deck.

Enjoy a pleasant breeze as you sail on the creek, and admire views of Deira’s and Bur Dubai’s illuminated skyline. Glide by the glittering lights of the Gold Souk, and have your camera ready as you pass floodlit bridges, mosques, and other monuments.

Then, enjoy a delicious buffet dinner as you soak in the magical atmosphere and setting. Savor a selection of Arabic and international dishes with unlimited sodas and other non-alcoholic beverages.

As you dine and relax, enjoy live entertainment in the shape of a fast-moving, traditional tanoura show, with whirling dervish style dancers spinning across the floor in multi-colored costumes.

Worst experience ever!

If I could give this zero stars, I would. The description of the experience was deceptive and misleading. The description stating that the cruise was 3 hours. It was barely 1 hour. The description stated that there would be an "international buffet". There was not anywhere close to an international buffet, let alone a "buffet". The food was horrible and included frozen fish sticks! The drinks were lackluster, the utensils, plates, etc. were subpar. Entertainment - there was a dancer. Although he did a traditional dance which was okay however, two of the individuals in our group were hit - one in the head and the other on top of the head. There was no commentary. The boat was in poor (borderline unsafe) condition, and it SMELLED! This is to name a few unsatisfactory things. From the outset of the evening, we were pretty much forced to send in pictures of our IDs before we were given the confirmation from the vendor. This is even after the charge had been run on our cards and we had received a confirmation from Viator! This vendor should be avoided at all costs and Viator should cease promoting this vendor on their site! These folks are shady, unscrupulous and deceptive AND they will video tape you without your knowledge so that they can refute any claims that you may have! For example, the dancer asked our group to clap while he was dancing and we then find out that we were videoed and then the vendor claimed that we had "a good time"! We only clapped as requested. My last advice, if you are considering choosing these people for your cruise, ADVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! There are other Dhow boat cruises that are way better!

What was advertised was not what we got. The transportation did not have enough sets for the group and they know how many was I the group. Two days before what got what’s up messages from unknown individuals. As for a copy of your passports. The company would not give us the pickup place until we provided picture ID. The write up and pictures by Vidor said we could buy wine/beer. Not the truth. We got tiny plastic cups of juice and coke. No toilet paper in bathroom. Food was terrible watered down hummus, store bought fish sticks and food that needed utensils that did not break when you used them. The boat trip was less than an hour. The entertainment was so so. Do not take this boat.

Horrible

The boat was horrible, the food was worse and they experience in all was horrible. I would not recommend this ride to anyone. The chicken was supposed to be BBQ but ended up being dry chicken I think. The vegetables were so spicy I could not eat them, and also it had so many bones in the food you had to pick through it so you wouldn't swallow it. Don't go on this ride, not worth the money AT ALL, RUN AWAY.

Bad food. . Entertainment injured my husband. Trip lasted an 1hr instead of 3 hts. Boat falling apart. Tour requested passport and ID for verification. Chicken bones broken in food. Spicy hot. Drinks tucked water down orange juice. Gavre us when trip is almost over. Highly would not recommend ever. Fish sticks from a box.

The Whirling Dervishe was impressive and very entertaining as were the night lights of the riverbank. Unfortunately every other aspect of this dinner cruise was a disappointment, this was a night of celebration for us and whilst we wanted to do this quietly, being somewhere we did not feel welcome was not our expectation.

Music was over 87db couldn't have a conversation at the table. Air conditioning unit was next to seat therefore hot air was blowing whilst eating. The only enjoyable moment was the driver (Zen) which was so kind.

The Dhow cruise was exactly as advertised. Our pick up driver was very communicative prior to pick up. He drove very safely to get us to the marina. Once at the marina, we took individual and group photos purchased later. Pics were of professional quality. Dinner was decent. But the butter chicken was amazing! The menu was typical of the food I was offered in Dubai as the area has a strong Indian influence.

we booked the Dhow Dinner cruise for 15th of December , on 14th of December tour operator DAYTUR DUBAI sent me the message on whats app, that they can provide us different tour (Marina dinner cruise) of highest quality ,but we have to pay extra 80 USD. I found this tour on Viator site and the cost was the same that we already paid. DAYTUR answered that they will provide different better tour. When we got aboard the ship we found out that this was the same tour that we mentioned to them!! Food was so so, we had to pay extra for wine and also were waiting for hotel pick up for 45 minutes! I sent the request to DAYTUR with question why we had to pay 80 USD EXTRA? The answer was - TRANSPORTATION. I doubt that the transportation by bus, that pick up tourists from all the hotels cost so much. even the taxi there is cheaper! so DAYTUR was cheating trying to get more people on the same tour. I always use VIATOR for all my trips and this experience was dissappointing..

I felt this evening dhow dinner cruise was ok , because of the traffic in Dubai it took nearly one hour to reach where the boat departed from the cruise itself was quite good , just a pity there is no commentary on board to point out all the famous landmarks we were passing food was amazing with loads to choose from , and plenty to eat , the entertainment on board was very good if you have a few hours spare one evening while in Dubai , then this is worth doing

The trip was not really spectacular in that there was NO commentary on the places that we passed by. It would have been great to have been able to identify some of the landmarks. Overall it was OK ! One suggestion is to stop advertising that alcohol was available on the cruise ! Apparently, NONE of the tours sold any alcohol, NOT that one must have alcohol to enjoy any trip BUT being able to enjoy a glass of wine or beer during dinner and after a hot and humid day would have been great.

La réalité ne correspond en rien à la description sur le site. Excepté la prise en charge A/R à l'hôtel qui s'est très bien passée (le chauffeur était vraiment professionnel , très à l'heure), la croisière est une arnaque : partis avec 40mn de retard sans aucune explications, le bateau à fait demi-tour avant d'être allé au nord de la crique nous privant de la vue sur les souk. le buffet décrit comme "émirati et international" se résume à 3 plats indiens quelconques et à une salade de fruits en boîte en dessert.

Abholung erfolgte realtiv pünktlich. Der Service auf den Boot war sehr gut. Die Auswahl der Gerichte war relativ gut, jedoch war das Essen lauwarm ,aufgrund der Örtlichkeit. Dies ist keine Kritik, sondern nur eine Festellung.
