Hotel Pickup & Drop-Off Information: Once your booking is confirmed, the tour operator will contact you directly to arrange hotel pickup and drop-off. This service is available from any hotel in Dubai. Meeting Point for Self-Arrivals: The Dhow Dinner Cruise departs from P1, Dubai Marina Harbour. If you prefer not to use the hotel transfer, please make your way to the departure point by car or taxi. When you reach the end of the road, make a U-turn to enter the parking area. You’ll see the Dhow cruise boats moored on the right-hand side. Look for the tour operator “TOUR DUBAI”. Our friendly staff will be there to welcome you.

Fantastic Dinner

I gave a 4 out of 5 but not because I didn’t enjoy the experience. The meal was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Towards the end of the cruise we experienced a drone show which was magnificent and so unexpected. Everyone on the dhow thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle.I give a 5 out of 5 for the dhow and dining. My 4 out of 5 is because I didn’t have a really great experience with the driver who did the pick up and drop off. I was told to expect our pick up between 7 and 7.30. At 6.35 the driver sent a text to say he was waiting in the lobby. At 6.38 I received another text to say he was still waiting in the lobby. We quickly made our way to the lobby and ended up having to ask the doorman to find the driver. He was at his vehicle. When I explained why we weren’t in the lobby he didn’t want to know. Our group felt he was not impressed that he had to wait (realistically only while we made our way to the lobby). The next pickup was basically waiting for the pick up, but the 3rd pickup wasn’t ready. Obviously because he was too early. The driving was atrocious, and we felt it was because he was angry having to wait for people. After the cruise one couple decided they were going back to their accommodation with other people in another group. So as far as we were concerned the driving on the way back to our hotel was equally as bad as on the way to the cruise. The driver did not receive tips when dropping us off, as our group decided we were not going to pay for very bad service.

2 adults + 2 kids took the 8:30 pm slot on 26Dec2023. Our boat was "Tour Dubai". Pros: 1. The pick-up service was prompt and timely. Cons: 1. Chaos at the gate. Multiple boats starts at the same time. Causes the chaos. None to organize / regulate the queue. 2. We were asked to sit in a table where there were stale breads baskets. Had to ask to change it. Leftover side dish were yet to be cleaned. Served the coke w/o fizz. That means the bottles were kept open for longer durations. 3. Food quality and options are limited given the price points. 4. Staffs were in a hurry to finish the dinner part of the cruise asap. 5. The boat was circling at the same spot at least 3 times at the end of the journey to make it to 2 hours.

Staff were very pleasant. Music was much too loud, we literally had our hands over our ears as did another table next to a speaker. And we are used to noise with 3 kids…. It was quite odd really… food okay, boat half empty. Made to fill out a feedback from whilst the staff stood over your shoulder, an unusual expensive event we would not repeat…

Disappointing evening

Chaotic, overbooked experience. Cruise was late departing, no guidance given from the staff as to where to sit or how the evening worked. The last 45 minutes was spent aimlessly circling around near the disembarking point, seemingly killing time. Staff ‘clapped’ us off the boat, very strange.

If you are going to switch for a buffet to a boxed meal, as a courtesy to me you should give me the opportunity to cancel my cruise. The driver arrive 20 minutes late. Never apologized. The boxed food was cold and bad. The cruise itself has no interest. Lots of time spent overlooking the docks.
