Select a 24-, 48-, 72-, 96-, or 120-hour Copenhagen Card on booking. Then, type in the barcode number in the Copenhagen Card app on your smartphone and redeem your card.

Having the card takes away some flexibility, like most places do not allow you to pre-book, so you need to show up and hope it is available. Another oddity is that they offer a lower price card for kids 12-15 (and free under that), but 16 and 17 seem to be at adult price, but many key attractions have free admission under 18. It appeared that it made sense for us to get the card, so we did, but alas, due to the cold several attractions we planned on going to were closed. At the end of the day, we would have been better off buying a la carte and it would have been cheaper.

Great value! We bought a three day card and immediately started using it on our arrival in Copenhagen. From public transportation to entrances to palaces and castles, the card matched perfectly with what we wanted to do in Copenhagen.

The card was great for unlimited travel around the city and all you could go to attractions. Be sure to remember that most things are closed Monday. Do the math on what the individual tickets cost and you’ll find it’s quickly a good deal (in an expensive city)

Worked great, we bought this ahead of time and then used the codes in the voucher under the barcode to redeem in the app. It was a huge relief to have all transportation covered, and we did get scanned on Metro, train, and s-train! It also was money well spent to go to all the attractions we saw.

Learn the difference between the trains in Copenhagen such as STrain vs Metro vs DBS. A bit confusing but the CPH card literature and online helps a lot. We had 4 day and we went all over and used the Harbor Bus and all train options. And we used it for many entrances to many museums and castles and canal ride and. To Helsinor and more like Louisiana modern
Museum and Hirshbirg collection which were soooo good too. Well worth the price. We’ve been in CPH but first time buying the card and as elderly well worth it for short or long trips.

Well organized and clear instructions. Enjoyed the boat tour! Such a beautiful city to visit. Unfortunately we experienced quite a bit of rain so we were not able to fully visit Tivoli Gardens. Such a beautiful place!

Compare the cost of individual entrance fees. For us it made sense and we ended up saving around $200 USD versus buying everything separately.

This is good value for money if you do a little bit of planning before hand. I went into a few attractions that I would not have otherwise visited.
I got the 48 hour pass which meant I could start about 1pm Sunday afternoon, use it all of Monday and then entered my final attraction at around 12.30pm on Tuesday.
Some attractions, e.g. Christiansborg Palace and Church of Our Saviour tower usually require you to book a timeslot during busy periods. I don't know if Christiansborg Palace can be booked online. Church of Our Saviour could.
Please note that many attractions are closed on Mondays. The site does allow you to filter for those that are open on Mondays so you can plan accordingly.

The Copenhagen Card was a good value and very easy to download and use in the Copenhagen Card app. We were able to use easily public transportation (busses, the S train, and the subway) for the duration of our trip, and were able to get into every sight on our wishlist.

We used the CPH 24-hour card for 1) canal cruise, 2) entry to Rosenborg Castle, 3) entry to Worker's Museum, 4) entry to Tivoli Gardens and 5) public transit, especially cost savings for trip back to the airport from city center. Definitely do your homework to determine whether the cost of the pass is effective for meeting your needs. Unfortunately, many of the activities can only be accessed between the hours of 10am-5pm which limits the number of experiences one can take advantage of on a daily basis. We saved about $30 per person over what we would have paid for all that we did.

Easy instruction to activate though you do have to download their app. It does get you to a lot of places. I’m so glad we got this for our trip, and it includes all public transport.

Getting the Copenhagen card worked well for us. Started by using the metro to get from the cruise port to the canal boat tour. Visited the castle and palace as well as tivoli gardens before making the way back to the ship. Did we spend less than individual tickets? Not sure, but the convenience of using the card made up for it.

It was fab used on trains, buses for free and also got into a lot of attractions
We ended up buying another as stayed for 10 days original 1 was for 72hrs
May return to copenhagen and have another as gave us a lot of freedom to move around copenhagen

Can't say enough about this card! The options are mind boggling with something for everyone. If you want to do it all, this is your best bet! Save, save, save and enjoy every minute along the way. Our favorite was the Copenhagen Zoo so that's a must!

Easy to use on transport and at attractions (even allows you to skip the queue at some attractions). It's worth costing out what you are intending to do while you are in Copenhagen to see if it's worth it, but if you want to do loads and use frequent public transport this card is great.
