Fantastic food tour! We visited 4 restaurants and a food market, and tasted at least 20 dishes & snacks. And they were all delicious! Our guide, Muay (I might be misspelling that), was great about explaining not just what we were eating, but the history behind the food. A great way to immerse yourself in the city and the culture. Definitely recommend!

We did the tour with Aim. She took us to so many amazing spots, there was so much food. Lots of different specialties that we haven’t had before. Going around in the red truck with a driver means you get to try loads of spots. Aim was really knowledgable and taught us about the history of the area and also lots about the food itself. We had some of the best food we’d had all trip! Highly recommend!

Our tour guide took us to so many interesting places. So many local foods were tried, and the highlight was the market at the end of the tour. Our guide picked and chose a large number of local delicacies that we would never have tried on our own. Some required mixing three ingredients which she had picked up in little plastic bags from the various vendors. There was just one item that we didn’t like (the dried crickets and dried silk worms), but all the rest were really good . So many unusual fruits, vegetables and other foods throughout the tour that I have never seen in the States. As long as you go in with an open mind on different foods, you’ll have a great time and be quite full at the end of the tour. Again, our guide was both knowledgeable and also quite humorous. We would recommend.

Just book it!! An amazing amount of food and so much to learn about Northern Thai cuisine. It will make you aware that there is much more to Thai food than Pad Thai!! Which isnt even real Thai food by the way! Our guide Moui was well organized and everything went smoothly. So much food at several restaurants and ended at a local market where she made us a picnic!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in sampling Thai dishes. Aim was an excellent tour guide and full of knowledge. The dishes were delicious and don’t eat ahead of time as there is tons of food to sample!

10/10 would recommend! So much food! Come hungry. Tried so many dishes that I never would have found on my own! Moui (Our guide) was FANTASTIC! Knowledgeable about the food, the history of the city, the culture. And very cool to ride from spot to spot in a songthaew. Would absolutely book again! This is a must-do!

The number of distinct tastes that you get to experience on this tour is truly astounding! We visited six different restaurants or markets and there were over 20 items that I was able to try. I've done other food tours in the past, but I have never been able to try so many dishes, as I did in this one. There might have been one item that I didn't care for, but with everything else that I tried, I would have been so content making that my entire meal. One tip. Pace yourself. I ate too much at the first few stops and by the end, I was relegated to giving each dish just a bite or two. I recommend this tour with every taste bud I own! The Crispy Pork Skin was my absolute favorite!

THE BEST FREAKING FOOD TOUR! My husband and I booked this tour and learned so much! If you're someone who loves to cook or learn about influences on Thai culture/food, this IS the tour for you. Seriously! We tried things we wouldn't have known to try and learned about new dishes we now call our favorites. We live in SoCal and while there's great Thai food here, the spots they took us to were unmatched! Our tour guide Muay (sp?) was incredible. So knowledgeable, funny, and answered all our annoying questions. This was our favorite tour we did AND while we booked a completely separate Michelin walking tour, we ended up canceling that one because we had already tried the same dishes from this tour!
If you have limited time in Thailand, this is the tour to book if you're a foodie. You won't regret it! Thank you for making this an unforgettable experience for me and my husband! We thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Probably the best food tour I’ve ever been on. Amazing experience for those who are serious foodies that want to try authentic Thai food at places outside the old town that you’d never know about!! Not for picky eaters, and come HUNGRY! Muay was so lovely. We had a really awesome time! I will def be recommending to my friends

Amazing tour with Mooai. It felt like we were part of a travel food program. Mooai was so friendly and enthusiastic and we went in the private red truck to 6 different venues to try their speciality. There is no way we could have tried food like this without this tour. For us highlights were larb and tom saap and the roasted meats with dipping sauce. My son loved the roasted pork belly and chicken and daughter’s favourites were tea leaf salad and khao soi. Can’t recommend enough.

We went to four restaurants and tasted a variety of delicious northern Thai food. Our guide was excellent. She gave us detailed explanations of the restaurants and food that we ate there. She also had samples of the spices used in some of the dishes. We really enjoyed the food and the tour.
The last stop was at a local market where the guide spent too much time showing us around the market. We saw way too much raw meat and animal parts which was starting to make us a bit nauseous.
We highly recommend the tour but think the market portion should be much smaller and primarily spent in the fruit and vegetable sections.

Great food, great guide Moui. We ate fabulous food from out of the way locations, learned the ingredients and some history. Food makes everyone happy and we definitely were. I did Bangkok Chinatown food tour as well. Both highly recommended and worth the money!

Experience was fantastic. Our guide Moui was incredibly knowledgeable of the origins and ingredients of each dish. Definitely restaurants you would not find on your own, and authentic foods you would not know to order. As a chef, it was fascinating, and arguably the best food experience of the extensive travel I have done. Don’t miss out!
