We booked this tour and were told there was a system glitch, so Roger was unable to accommodate us as planned. He did offer alternate arrangements, which we appreciated, and assured us that everything from the original tour would still be included. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The guide who was sent did not speak English and had to rely on phone translation throughout the tour. While he did his best and was kind, a major reason we booked this tour was for the commentary and insights—so spending much of the time in silence was disappointing. Additionally, we were asked to pay in cash, which required an unplanned ATM visit and extra fees, adding to the frustration. Overall, we appreciate the effort to find a last-minute solution, but the experience fell short of what was promised, and we would not recommend this tour.

An absolute blast! Roger was amazing and such a talented and thoughtful guide to have. He was super informative and really showed us a side to Costa Rica we hadn’t yet seen. Worth every second of time you will spend on this adventure. Book now so you don’t miss out!!

Roger was a fantastic guide, one of the best! Great with kids and adults alike, he was cordial and helped the tour be as safe as possible. Great itinerary too, more local and cultural experiences. Would highly recommend this tour again to any and all!

Roger was AMAZING and very accommodating to what our family was interested in seeing, he asked us questions to better hone in what was important to us for our experience. He was extremely pleasant and made our trip more amazing than I imagined. He was knowledgeable about the area, answered any questions we had and took us for lunch, which was amazing. He took us to see the monkeys, which we go to feed and allow to sit our our shoulders. We were a family of 4, 3 adults and 1 teenager. We will for sure use him again in our future trips to Costa Rica. "Customer service" should be Roger's first name!!!
