Disappointing and not worth paying

We are not at all satisfied with this trip. The guide rather the driver was good but the plan was absolutely not worth it. We couldn’t see most of the attractions as we couldn’t get down. The driver gave us a ride infront of the Cardiff Castle , which was open but we were not allowed to enter into the castle. Rather we had to ask to stop for pictures but couldn’t got a stop to all the attractions except millennium centre, riverside of Roath park and llandaf cathedral. The trip was not worth as money and as well as time. We hardly spent 1 hour 40 mins and paid £125 not even worth paying . It was totally disappointing. Only drove through the city.

I am sorry you did not enjoy the tour, even though you told you me you enjoyed it at the end of the tour. As explained in the description of the tour, in emails before the tour, and at the start of the tour, our Cardiff City Tour is a driven sightseeing tour with mininal stoppages. The tour does not stop at Cardiff Castle, as it begins and ends near the Castle, and the Castle itself really deserves a good few hours. As I'm sure you can appreciate, in a tour that is advertised to last 2 hours, stopping in one location for the entire duration of the tour would have been redundant. That is if it would have been possible to stop at Cardiff Castle, which unfortunately, due to parking restrictions, is not possible. The tour only has one planned stop, that being Llandaff Cathedral, because different people wish to stop at different places. For example, you asked to stop in The Principality Stadium, Cardiff Bay, Wales Millennium Centre & Roath Park, in addition to Llandaff Cathedral, which I was more than happy to do, where as others have not wanted to stop at these places, but have requested to stop and take pictures at Cardiff City Stadium or The Coal Exchange Hotel for example. The tour normally takes around 2 hours to complete, however it took less than time than anticipated partly due to less traffic due to the time of year, and partly due to a shorter than expected time being spent at Llandaff Cathedral. As less time than expected was spent at Llandaff Cathedral, I took you through Whitchurch and past Whitchurch High School, where the footballer Gareth Bale had grown up and gone to school. This is not normally on the tour, but was added at the request of your son. Once again, I am sorry you did not enjoy the tour, as I work hard to provide an excellent experience on all our tours. I do hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Cardiff however

The driver was not patient. Left the clients. Your number on the tickets does not go through. I kept on calling no response. I wrote an email it was not responded to.

We advised the driver for the tour the day before the tour, along with a contact number for them. The number we were provided with was incorrect, and so was the name. The driver waited at the meeting location an appropriate amount of time for the duration of the tour, however with out any means to contact the clients who were due to go on the tour, we had no option but to cancel the tour. The clients then proceded to harrass us throughout the day phoning us no less than 11 times in 30 minutes. Each phone call was answered, and the reason for the cancellation was explained multiple times. It was when the clients became threatening and abusive on the phone, that their phone number was blocked. You were advised by email of the drivers contact and vehicle details the day before the tour, and of the circumstances behind the cancellation within an hour of the tour being cancelled, and a follow up email was responded to within hours. When you tried to phone us directly prior to the tour it was before 6:00am, and naturally the phone lines were turned off due to the time of day

What a delightful experience this was. Dave (our driver) was punctual, knowledgeable and accommodating. The water in the personalised bottles was a nice touch too. For 90 minutes we taken across Cardiff City and it truly was worth every penny.
