We had a wonderful tour, it turned out to be a private tour with G and Angel as we were the only ones booked. We were taken to restaurants we would never of known existed. Tasted really lovely food and tried some local beers. Tour ran smoothly and was picked up on time In a very comfortable air conditioned van. Communication was good. We even had a tequila to taste.,
G’s knowledge and passion for median food was excellent. Really recommend this tour to have an authentic experience in Cancun.

The taco tour was a great experience overall. Excellent food and drinks at authentic restaurants, much better experience than the hotel zone. Our driver, Alex, got us to our destinations quickly and safely. Our guide, G, was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the specific offerings (tacos, drinks, sides, and sauces) at each restaurant. He also gave us some nice background information about the restaurants, Cancun, and life in Mexico. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to get out of the hotel zone and experiencing something more authentic.

First, let me start by saying that our guide Jorge was incredible! He was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He shared information about the food, culture, and history of Mexico. It’s clear he takes great pride in his work and wants to share that with you! It was lovely to meet him and I learned so much from him.
Second, the food.. Wow. The menu was curated so other than the drinks, the food is chosen for you. This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and try Authentic Mexican food! It was all amazing!! Every restaurant we went to was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the food came out very quickly. The variety was awesome.
I will note that if you have allergies or food dislikes, Jorge does take note of that before the tour begins!
Finally, the night market, was so beautiful! There was dancing, food, art, and souvenirs! It’s a great place to buy stuff to take home. Much cheaper and supports local artists!
Be careful up upcharging though! I was told one price and then he upped it right before I paid, only $5 but still something to be cautious of. Other than that, I loved it!! It was very family friendly so we felt safe being out at night with our guide.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour! If you want authentic Mexican and a look into some culture/history.. this is the tour for you!
It also helps that our group was so much fun. Meeting new people is always enjoyable for me so this was especially nice.

Angel and G were fantastic! Angel was a smooth operator of a driver getting us place to place without incident. G was in a class of his own with explanations, histories, stories, and charm. His insights to each place really made the tour come alive.

This is a great tour to get familiar with the town of Cancun. Our tour guide, G, gave us lots of info on the different kinds of tacos and local beers and drinks. And our driver, Angel, kept the van and more importantly the AC running at every stop while we indulged. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you love tacos!!!!

Fantastic trip through Cancun to try local taco's. Gets you out to see the city and try authentic hand made tacos. Sasha who was our cooking class instructor was also our tour guide for this. He is such an amazing person and great personality. Took us to 3 places for 4 tacos and explained what beer would be good for it, although we aren't beer drinkers my son was, he suggested other drinks too. In the end took us to a night market, got churros and told us where not to walk and let us freely explore and take pictures. Highly suggest if your a foodie like us.

My partner and I booked on this tour whilst on holiday in Cancún and had a wonderful time. Sasha was our tour guide and Damien was our driver. They were both very friendly and welcoming. Our tour was just us, Sasha and Damien so it felt like we were just out on the town with friends that night!!
We learned so much about the history and culture of Cancún. Sasha was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to
Our favourite tacos were from Coapenitos and Carnes De La Torres. We finished the evening with Churros at the night market where locals were spending time eating, listening to live music and dancing.
Thank you Sasha and Damien for a wonderful tour. Would definitely recommend.

G and Angel made our evening in Cancun truly unforgettable! They picked us up all the way in Punta Blanca, which we really appreciated since it meant we could relax and fully enjoy the night without worrying about driving back after eating and drinking. My partner and I ended up being the only guests on the tour, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal—like we were out with friends of friends showing us their favorite spots around town.
Every stop was charming and thoughtfully chosen, but one of the standout moments was tasting the tender, slow-cooked pork marinated in traditional Yucatecan pibil—absolutely incredible. The drinks and beer throughout the night were just as enjoyable, adding to the easygoing, festive vibe. The highlight, though, was ending the evening at the palapa park, surrounded by locals, wandering through the night market, and soaking in the energy of everyday life in central Cancun. It was exactly the kind of experience we hoped for—authentic, unexpected, and full of small moments we would have never found on our own.

The food was to die for! G and Alex were our guides and they were both fantastic. G really pulls out all the stops to give you a great culinary experience in some of his favourite places.

My wife and I booked this tour and had an excellent experience. It was one of the few tours that offered pick up north of the hotel zone. Our driver was on time and our guide G was great. He was personable and provided good information on the food and some information on the area. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the market afterwards.

So much fun! We planned this tour for our first night—and first time—in Mexico, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The tacos, salsas, and beer were all incredible, each offering a different style. Learning about the cultural and regional differences made the experience both interactive and engaging.
Sasha added a personal touch to every stop, which made everything feel even more authentic. It was just us and one other couple, and nothing ever felt rushed. If you’re more introverted or prefer a smaller, relaxed group, this setup is perfect!
Sasha and Angel had us laughing the entire time. They really brought everyone together, and we had an unforgettable night.

We had the most amazing evening! The food was phenomenal, the service was fantastic, and our guide was excellent. We are hard pressed to choose which was the best part! We were a widely aged group (9-75), and everyone enjoyed it very much. Our youngest said the taco at Carnes de la Torre was the best thing she had ever eaten. Highly recommend!

The tour is exactly as described, beer and tacos. The food was amazing and the beer was cold and appropriate for the dinner. G was the tour guide and Angel was the driver. G was a wealth of knowledge explaining things along the way. Angel got us from point a to point b,c,d,and e in a safe manor.
All you need to do is take the advice from G and eat and drink per his recommendations. We did and it was pleasant evening all around. I would do it again next time in Cancun.

G the tour guide and Alex, the driver were great! Everything went extremely well. Pick up and drop off were prompt and professional. The choice of restaurants were great. The tacos were awesome. G did a great job of explaining what we were eating and some of the history about it. He made recommendations as far as the salsas to try and what drinks to get with which tacos. He was very attentive, personable and enthusiastic. We highly recommend the tour and we’ll do it again the next time we come.

This taco tour was an amazing experience from start to finish. Transportation was smooth and well organized — we were taken to three different restaurants, then to the night market, and finally dropped back off at our resort, which made the whole evening stress-free.
The food was incredible at every stop, but the second restaurant we visited completely stole the show. My entire group loved it. The staff there even did a fun drawing and gave away a mini bottle of tequila, and I ended up winning, which was such a nice surprise.
Our tour guide was very friendly and made the experience even better. Overall, this was a fantastic excursion and definitely something I’d recommend to anyone visiting Cancun.

This was a great way to get out of the Hotel Zone and see some of the actual city. The guides were incredible, very knowledgeable and gave excellent advise for each of the taco stops. The Mexican made beers were also great and variates I'd never tried. I would recommend doing this toward the start of your trip so you have time to go back!
