I had so much fun on this experience. Although it was a group event the guides made us all feel as individuals. We even got to take our own pictures instead of having to pay for the fake professionals ones. The food and tequila tasting felt a little rushed but overall it was a fun experience.

Rodney_H, Aug 2025
The Camel ride was amazing. Alfa and Ali were nice, although Alfa was a bit sassy ;). The tacos were delicious & the Tequila tasting was good. I didn’t like the extra $25 park entry fee and I didn’t like how much they attempted to charge for the photos at the end.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Hi, thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the experience. To explain, the $25 fee is charged for EVERY activity at Migrino (for ALL providers) and goes to the government to restore the land that gets destroyed from the activities. If you want to ride a camel on the beach in Cabo they will let you but they want you to help pay to restore the things that get harmed when you do. Most people understand and want to help fix anything that gets harmed. As far as the cost for pictures, all providers have picture packages in those ranges but this is the only camel provider that lets you take your own pictures. If you don't want to pay the photographer for his work, simply take your own pics for free. Cabo is not advertised as a discount travel destination. It is world class and the people that work hard in the heat to make sure you make bucket list memories deserve to be paid a livable wage. I am sure you agree with that, right? Regardless, please enjoy the rest of your time in Cabo!

Definitely wear old tennis shoes I made the mistake of wear sporty sandals and my feet were dirty from all sand we walked through. Also purchase a head wrap the sun beats down on you while on the ride.

Thanks for the advice and the review! Enjoy your time in Cabo!

Camel and safari

Maria_R, Jan 2025
Too much waiting around, camel ride was good. Guide did not speak English that well, pictures(that you were not allowed to take yourself) and video were very expensive. Lunch was very good, tequila tasting marginal. The facility is very nice and expansive along a beach.

Response from Host, Jan 2025

Thank you for this review. These are the things I try to tell people when I can, so I appreciate it very much. I am glad you enjoyed the ride. Have a great time in Cabo :)

Camel Ride Christmas 2024

Wenifreda_M, Dec 2024
It was fun riding the camels. I booked online for a group tour but I upgraded to a private tour on site so that we could use our phones for pictures and videos (which is not allowed in group tours). Upgrade was $150 and there was an entrance fee of $25 per person regardless of the type of tour. Our tour guide Raul was great. He made sure we are comfortable. Although phones are allowed in a private tour, we still needed to purchase the photos and videos from them because the guides cannot take our photos, so we ended up buying our group photos and videos from them and they are SOOOO EXPENSIVE! I would recommend the experience minus the expensive photos.

Thank you so much for your review. The picture deal at Cactus is frustrating, and I have considered not working with them because of it, but I don't want to deny people the opportunity to experience it. I appreciate you reiterating so people are aware. Have a great time in Cabo!

Windy but fun

Ashley_J, Mar 2023
This was a fun and relaxing activity. May be windy on the beach but overall I enjoyed it. The burrito was tasty.

Billy was awesome

francis_l, Oct 2022
Billy was our tour guide and he was absolutely wonderful🙏🏼‼️🙏🏼 I am handicapped and he was very careful with helping me in and off of the camel. He was also very much a gentleman in general♥️

Camels were awesome if

Carlie_D, Jun 2022
The camel experience was awesome. Good tacos! Wish there were more of a tasting. You get two little sample cups not filled up. And only two tastings. Excursion is a little expensive, should make it worth it for the tequilla tasting. But the camels make the whole experience!

It was fun riding the camels. Shirt and very expensive . We pre booked everything $485 when you get there there is additional $20 per person entry fee and if you want to make it private where you can take your belongings and take your own photos us additional $35 per person. It was a fun experience. Riding the camel hurts a little and is uncomfortable

Cactus Tours Camel Encounter

Kelly_G, Jun 2021
Camel ride was very cool and unique. There was something wrong with the way my online reservation had been processed but the staff was able to resolve the issue quickly with a phone call. It would have been nice to know in the description that phones/cameras were not allowed which forced us to have to buy their photos (which were pricey).

do research

mercedes_r, Jun 2021
Isaias (Alejandro) Was the BEST and super sweet. If it wasn’t for him I most likely wouldn’t have done the tour and requested refund. They make you lock up your phone which is a HUGE safety hazard (god forbid you get hurt they have no way of contacting any family) They. don’t ask for emergency contacts. Seems they are more focused on you not taking pictures so you can buy their copies. They charge a extra $20 “park fee” and you’re only on the camel for what feels like 10min.

Yolanda_U, Apr 2021
We were so excited for the tour. But, literally the ride was about 10 -15 minutes long. They stretched out the hour by showing yo some twigs. Then another 10 taking expensive pics they want to sell you. Oh and there's an additional $20 fee perperson once you're checked in.

Response from Host, Apr 2021

Thank you for your review. I wish you would have called before booking. I agree with you on all of what you wrote and always try to tell people there are many better activities in Cabo. I hope the rest of your time in Cabo is great and will offer you another activity at our cost to help make up for it.

Ted Sucks

Erony_P, Jan 2021
I had Ted and he was horrible. Had an attitude with us for no reason. Screamed at us and threaten us by asking for our address. Ted needs a Ted Talk! 0/0!

Response from Host, Jan 2021

We talked to Ted. Based on your feedback, and others, we no longer work with Ted. Thank you for letting us know. The next time you are in Cabo please contact us for a free activity. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Cabo.

Try something different

Melissa_J, Jan 2021
The experience was horrible. I wasn’t able to bring a bag to carry my feminine products. I was basically searched every encounter to make sure I didn’t have my bag. The tour guide was not the friendliest . The camel ride and the views were the best part.

Response from Host, Jan 2021

We are very sorry you experienced that. We no longer work with that company based on your feedback. Thank you for letting us know. The next time you are in Cabo please contact us for a free activity. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Cabo.

Great Experience But Sad About My Cell Phone

Eri_J, Nov 2020
The experience was great! The hotel shuttle pickup and dropoff was on time and prompt. The tequila tasting and taco bar were all great. The only issue we had was that they didn't allow us to take our cell phones onto the excursion, we had to lock all our belongings up in a locker once we arrived (locker was provided at no cost) and weren't able to retrieve them until we got back. There were some great photo-worthy spots before and after the camel ride that we should've been able to utilize. It was especially frustrating when we got to the camel ride and all the ATV renters were able to take theirs and others that were on the journey with us but not in our group. All in all we would do it again (but bring a Go Pro) and we would completely request Dario, he was an AMAZING guide! Highly recommend him!

Response from Host, Jan 2021

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate it and are thankful you picked Cabo to make memories. We are sad about your cell phone too and wish we could change that policy. We did use your feedback to update our welcome letter to explain the company's policy better. Thank you for the opportunity to improve! Please let us know when you make it back to Cabo and we will set you up with something special to show our appreciation.

Camels by the Pacific

Slovakia_M, Mar 2020
The baby camel kissed me. Alex, the tour guide, was funny and very knowledgeable about camels and tequilas, LoL! Awesome experience!

Response from Host, Mar 2020

Love that! We are so happy that you had a great time and appreciate you taking the time to write this review tremendously. Please let us know the next time that you are in Cabo and we will set you up with another activity as a thank you.
