What a blast! We were given excellent instructions for safety and use of the ATV. We road out to the beach and around in the desert. Our guide educated us about the various cacti and other geographical points of interest. Photos were pricey, but we bought them anyway because we had so much fun and wanted to capture the memories.
We will definitely do it again next time we visit.

Our Party of 7 grouped together for what was supposed to be a good time. Great trail, and scenery....but before we could get to that we were charged an extra $25 each to get into the park. Not listed on Viator, but it was on their website. Helmets and bandanas were not both provided as listed only the helmets. Bandanas were an additional $20. I've rode ATVs in Cano before. Never had to pay insurance. This company asked an additional $25 per vehicle for insurance. None of these additional charges were disclosed to me at original purchase. They didn't even want to honor their picture package prices listed on their wall. The actual ride and guide itself was awesome so of course the gratuity was appreciated and not required. But they took all our spare cash with all the upcharges!!

I chose the single seat ATV ride for 2 hours and it was a blast. Joshua was a very helpful guide and took us to some epic view of the oceans and mountains.

They really need to ask who has experience on an ATV and have those people in front. One woman stopped on a hill and everyone bumped into each other. The guides were not great—someone else rolled on another hill. Very dusty and bumpy (out of their control) but they rode so quickly that I couldn’t see. Trip was decent and long enough but the guides kinda sucked.

Alejandro was a great guide -- loved the small stops in between the ATV driving, such as the beach and the 1300-year-old cardon cactus we stopped at. He was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, and we really enjoyed the learning experience!

Cruising through the sand dunes set up by the tour was awesome and ability to really aggressively ride the quad was amazing. Riding the quad on the beach with the waves crashing was a beautiful end to the experience.

The tour experience overall was fun! The only reason I didn’t give it a higher review because there are a few things that can be improved to make it better. For one the hidden fees. They should be included upfront or explained at booking. The price isn’t $72 if you are charging a additional $45 in fees when I get there plus convincing me to upgrade to a newer vehicle. It’s the first time I’ve ever been on a tour like this and was pressured into getting insurance for by using scare tactics and instilling fear that if you don’t purchase the insurance they will hold your visa and charge you $500 in damages. Other than that, the tour guide was really great and patient. Also there should be moments where someone takes recordings or photos of your ATV riding experience. The only opportunity to get pictures is once you reach the cliff and of before and after the tour. I did like that they had a bar there that served drinks while you wait.

Thank you for your review. Our discounted rate for single 250cc ATV is for $72 per person because regular rate is $130 so by booking with us you saved money. There is no hidden fees because everything is clearly mentioned online before booking, you just need to read more carefully. As mentioned online before you booked it clearly says at park location there is a $20 park entrance fee that every company charges separately because this fee goes to the Government and must be paid separately by everyone including locals pay it. And Insurance is OPTIONAL with credit card as mentioned online. The check in team at the park only advises everyone of the Insurance policy but never do they pressure. They are not supposed to, so for this matter we are investigating who checked you in on this day. The photographer is separate from us and on this day he didn’t show up, but we let you take your cellphone with you on this day to take your own pictures.

This was our first ATV experience and we had a wonderful time! Communication with the tour operator was excellent, and the ATV guides did a great job of accommodating our group which included families with young children and teens. Pick up and drop off by the tour operator was in an air conditioned minivan, and efficient. Beach view during tour was awesome!

We had so much fun on this tour! We got to see a lot of the desert and margarita beach. It was very beautiful and so exhilarating! Most of the single and double ATVs are manual, but you can pay extra to upgrade to a fully automatic. I decided to ride in a double with my boyfriend, which ended up being a good idea as the terrain is very bumpy and his experience riding motorcycles and ATVs came in handy. Worth the trip, but beware if you’re old and have aches and pains. It’s VERY bumpy and jerky.

Regarding not automatic, mostly all ATVs in Mexico are not automatic and you shift gears, but it´s so easy and the instructors do a great job explaining everything to everyone before doing the tour. We have automatic ATVs as well, but cost more money. Next time request this upgrade with us. Thank you.
