South Korea in a day!

We had a one day stop on our cruise in Busan and this tour was the perfect way to fit as much of the city in as possible in the time we had. Our guide was excellent! She had interesting information all day long and really worked to keep us on track and take in as much as possible. She was truly a Joy! The lunch was beyond amazing! I can’t say enough good things about the itinerary, guide, driver and the city itself. It made our whole group want to come back to Busan one day!

Best day in Busan!

Our guide was Sandalos (Mokdong) and we were 3 adults on this tour. He was a great driver and guide. He was able to recommend non-tourist locations for lunch and dinner that really made us feel like locals even just for a small time. He was great at giving us information about each new site we visited and the history of South Korea. We were able to complete everything on our must-do wish list and more! We had such an awesome day with our guide.

Brilliant day with our guide Daniel, we went for a scenic drive to the temple, had another drive a loot out point and then for a tradtional BBQ WOW-never had such a meal, we were taken all over Busan, this was really worth the money a full day of laughter, info and the best meal out in years !

Great tour - VERY expensive lunch!

This is a really good tour if you’ve got one day in Busan. The guide and driver were very efficient. Our only ‘complaint’ is that we were taken to a very expensive Korean BBQ restaurant without any choice. We only discovered how expensive it was ($80 AUD for two of us) on arrival. Why the tour operator doesn’t offer a food hall or a choice of something simpler, I don’t know. It would have been good for an explanation of what the rather complex meal was. Please don’t mis-understand my concerns here. The food at this restaurant was very good - we just didn’t get a choice! That said - still a great tour! Thanks Joey (our guide)

A great way of experiencing Busan

We were met at the port and taken in a very comfortable van to the places of significance. Frank was very informative. At no time did we feel rushed. Just be aware that the barbecue meal is expensive. It’s a lovely experience but there are cheaper options. The day was superb and Frank an excellent guide. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Don't bother, waste of money

The whole trip was like a whirlwind, we went from one place to another, took a few pictures and that was it. We had no time to look around at all. To make things worse, the tour guide persuaded us to have Korean BBQ for lunch which she said was so tasty and it was a must try. She brought us to a restaurant which looked quite upscale and recommended us the Korean beef set meal, it costed $35 per person and kept saying it was very tasty and so we went ahead as she said. Turned out that was a real scam, the so called Korean beef was like ground beef and the sides were tasteless! We all felt hungry after the meals! With the same money, we can have a good meal at any Korean restaurant in Vancouver which give you sliced beef and not grounded beef! We also met other groups of people from our cruise there so it was definitely a tourist trap and the tour guides got their kick-backs there!

Dear Davy Wong Unfortunately, very bad review after tour, I will explain about your tour On Oct 19, 2023 had a cruise celebrity ( 07.00 -16.00 ) which was a booked product is "Share Transport small Group" at the time 2 Group have 25 seater Mini Bus with driver and guide KC. Group 1 Davy Wong 10 pax with Group 2 Kelly Sparks 2 pax total 12 pax on the tour. We had a pick you up at the cruise port at 08.00 and return to cruise port around 15.30 as was full schedule. Itinerary Port pick up at 08.00 - Haedongyonggungsa temple - via Busan Harbor Bridge- via Gwanganli Bridge enjoy nature sites - Dalmaji photo zone - Dongbaek Island ( APEC ) - Lunch ( Busan eonyang Bulgogi beef restaurant ) - Gamcheon culture village - Nampodong - Busan BIFFsq. - Jacalchi fish market - return to port around 15.30. 1. First contacted email was, Davy comments is not go to UN memorial park, that I reply and accepted. 2. Second contacted email, that i report before come to Busan port Group 1Davy wong 10 pax + Group 2 Kelly Sparks 2 people are share transport informations. but, Davy did not accepted as because they want private tour. So that I explained about booking products( "Share Transport small Group" ) is less cost than private tour, and then Davy accepted share transport with Kelly Sparks 2 people. 3. During in tour in the temple as one of Davy member lost because of toilet as she was drop-off. It was missing because lot of people visiting in the temple at the time, but they meet again at the parking lot as KC said. ( Maybe it happened problem Guide KC between lost Guest about this matter ) 4. About Lunch Meals problem is wrong and misunderstand, this restaurant is very famous local people as Normally one person W 35,000 - W 48,000 per meal cost and more high depending on menu, please check website via menu cost ( "Busan Eonyang Bulgogi Suyeong" Gwangali beach side ) as cost different then Vancouver meats between Korea BBQ. it was traditinal Korea beef like same as Japan "Wakyu" and if you need additional side dishes is, always free charge service. 5. Group 2 Kelly Sparks group had enjoy the tour with KC guide as nothing problems. So, please understand that about Guide has no kick-backs, even, lot of local guest leave tips after enjoy meals for restaurant workers. I Hope, that please understand both of situation in the temple as lost one of your member at the toilet and guide KC also forgiveness mistake about lost you group one of member at the time. thank you and best regards frank, yi

Outstanding Quick Jaunt in Busan

When our Princess Cruise docked in Busan the ship had some logistical problems and delays in getting us off the ship and through customs, so we were a bit delayed getting out. Our tour guide Frank met us and his positive energy turned what could have been a rough day around. He was flexible in customizing our itinerary, provided plenty of cultural insights, and made great recommendations for lunch and shopping options. I highly recommend this tour and Frank as a guide.

Quite Good But Could Be Better

This is a great way to maximize your day in port. However, make sure to get a timed itinerary in advance. Our guide never gave us a detailed itinerary and it seemed as though we wasted time by not knowing how many places we would see and how much time was allotted at each. Toward the end, he seemed to just be filling time until we had to go back to the ship. He actually seemed more of a driver and less of a tour guide. Still better than an excursion off the ship, though. Take this tour, but do your own research and request a specific itinerary in advance. Keep your guide on his toes.
