Tommy was an amazing host/cebador! Even though I've been drinking yerba mate on my own for a while, I got to learn so much from Tommy. He went through how/where mate is cultivated and harvested, where the tradition came from, and culture around drinking and sharing yerba mate, and most importantly how to prepare it on your own. The experience is totally worth it because you get to try different types...original and flavoured ones, and have some snacks to eat with it. It was a really casual atmosphere, and Tommy got to answer all the questions we had. It was a lot of fun, time went by so fast AND you get your own certificate in the end! Loved it overall!

Tomi was incredible. Very knowledgeable on mate there was no question he could not answer. An incredible host making sure every member of the group was looked after and provided for, nothing was too much trouble. A great experience with the option to taste all different types of mate, meet new people and learn from a master.

It is a must do event when in Buenos Aires as a way of understanding the local culture - by the end of the tasting you will become certified in the process of how to prepare and drink mate. The guides did a great job in explaining the culture and history behind yerba mate. They also did a good job in integrating and involving the members of the group. As far as the mate itself, there were several blends to try out. I personally liked the Chai over the others. 5 star experience.

We really enjoyed this experience with Tomas. He was flexible with us to reschedule a time when the original one no longer worked for both parties. We learned a lot about the traditional way to drink mate and were able to try a variety of mixes. I would definitely do this again and 10/10 would recommend to others.

Aunque ya había probado el mate e incluso preparado alguno, el taller me ha enseñado a perfeccionar mi técnica, conocer más sobre el ritual y probar diferentes yerbas. El ambiente fue genial y Tomi el mejor conductor para disfrutar está experiencia.
