We meet at the entrance of the Recoleta Cemetery. The entrance is a big white gate with 4 high greek columns that says "Requiescat in Pace" (Rest in Peace) on top. There is a plaque that says street Junin 1760 (google maps marks it at Junin 1851). Look for a guide in ORANGE.

Really useful, entertaining, and fun tour. Victoria is an excellent guide through the Recoletta Cemetery. I'm so glad we didn't try to see the Cemetery without a guide. We learned so much. Don't miss it.
Mariana was great! Very knowledgeable and easy to hear even with a larger group. The stories were interesting and shed light on things like why so many of the mausoleums were in disrepair.
The most interesting aspect of this tour is the perspective Vitoria gave us on how the city's elite related to the notion of death and the need to maintain the family's name over the years, compared with the lives and deaths of the La Boca immigrants. The picturesque stories about some individuals were quite interesting and even fun to hear.
Truly woeful experience. I paid for a guided tour of la recoleta cemetery bit when we arrived, the cemetery was closed for safety reasons and our guide was nowhere to be found. I have been trying to contact Viator for a refund without success.

Our guides were at the designated meeting point at the indicated time, welcomed the guests, and entered Recoleta Cemetery. We have the group photo and the guide’s report confirming that the tour took place, and the cemetery was open that day.
It is possible that there was some confusion regarding the date, time, or meeting point, or that you did not arrive at the designated meeting point for the tour.
We also did not receive any attempt to contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or email. We respond promptly to our guests, and had you contacted us, we would have been able to determine what was happening and assist you immediately.

The tour was a great way to learn about Recoleta Cemetery. I appreciated hearing the stories of different individuals to give context to what we were seeing.

Good tour to help you navigate and understand the cemetery’s history and some of its famous residents. I don’t think the price of admission would be worth just wondering around so having Mariano guide us through with stories really helped get a unique look at Argentina’s history.

This tour of Recoleta Cemetery was absolutely fascinating and one of the highlights of my time in Buenos Aires. Mariana was an incredible guide, so engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about the history of the cemetery, its inhabitants, and the city itself.
She brought the stories to life in such an interesting and memorable way, and I learned so much more than I ever expected. The tour was the perfect mix of history, culture, architecture, and storytelling, and Mariana made every moment engaging from start to finish.

Mariana was incredibly knowledgeable about Recoleta Cemetery and all the stories around it. She was very funny, patience and guided us throughout all the place. I couldn’t believe the tour lasted almost two hours keeping everybody interested and intrigued about the cemetery. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!

Very informative tour by our guide Mariano. Gives a great perspective on the history of Argentina. The tour is a full 1 3/4 hr long. Can book many additional walking tours directly through Buenos Aires Free Walks. Groups can be quite large depending on demand. Ours was about 30 people
