The tour was good. We spend a lot of time in the mini van during the tour. Especially while picking up all passengers from various hotels.

The tour was advertised as in English, but the majority of participants spoke Spanish and the guide spoke English about a third of the time.
This meant we got much more surface level information like the names of things or facts like a building used to be a church, but not history and narrative. We left feeling like we had been driven to several landmarks but don't have much sense of their significance or the city's story.

Delightful little intro to a massive megapolis. We got to sample some wine and dolce le lece and see the giant steel flower sculpture. Don’t remember much else.

Lionel was a very nice tour guide he spoke multiple languages because there were Brazilians, and American and a Mexican on the tour. We stopped and tasted dolce de leche and some wine and just had a great day.

Paoula was our guide. She was soft spoken and knowledgeable about the geography of the sites we toured. Sadly though, her depth of knowledge was lacking. This was also an English language tour and again, sadly, her command of the language was very limited. I fault the tour company for putting her in that situation and for the fact she needs more training to be fair to the tourists who book the tours.
This is not what we expect from Viator who we have used ma y times before.

Pick up was over half an hour late to the time stated on our documentation. Tour guide knowledgeable, although all information delivered in both english and spanish. Would have been good to include entry to the cemetery rather than just peeping in from the outside. Perhaps a complimentary bottle of drinking water would have been appreciated as it was very hot. Overall enjoyable.

The time shown on the voucher is not always the right one. It depends on the hotel where people are. Anyway, we always confirm the correct time and inform there is a tolerance of 35 minutes from that time (it is also stated in our product) while we pickup passengers at different hotels so let's say we arrived within the stipulated time. There are six stops during the tour so people can stock up on something or get some drinks. For the Recoleta cemetery, you would need more than the 25 minutes stop included so we suggest travelers to visit it on their own with enough time.

This tour was just okay. There were 14 people, half English half Spanish speaking. 14 is pushing the limit for a small group if they aren't the same nationality. This is how it went as we drove (quickly) by points of interest....In Spanish the guide would describe the building/statue in some length. Then in English, he'd say for example "that yellow house we passed was...., or "behind us, that was a statue representing....." We were English speaking so we were always looking behind us to try to see what it was. I think the points of interest toured were probably fine if we had been able to hear what they were as we were seeing them. Although should note, we did not see the cemetery or the Eva Perone monument. I would recommend using a different tour company since city tours are abundant

The stop at Caminito was memorable.
The excursion was spoilt somewhat by the late arrival at the pick up point (20 minutes) with no contact. The guide was very pleasant but hard to hear.

Hi Michael, thank you for posting a review. This is not a walking tour. The tour is carried out on a van. There is a tolerance of 35 minutes from the time set and we advise it at time of confirming the service and in our product. So 20 minutes is within the stipulated time.

Really interesting trip. Florencia the guide was incredible, really looked after every member of the group, encouraged questions and answered them fully and openly. The driver was great and the photographer was lovely. Highly recommended.

Slightly late pick up but I expected that with the crazy traffic in Buenos Aires. Very enjoyable afternoon. Had a small group of only five people. Sophie was a great guide.

Quick tour of the main sites of Buenos Aires, having been previously a few years ago. The tour met our objective, although it was difficult to follow the guide’s presentation at times as she was constantly switching between English and Spanish. We thought we had booked an English only tour. La Boca was the highlight of the trip.

Nice to see city BUT we were the only 2 English speakers on the tour. Guide did a good job switching from Spanish to English to include us but I felt we were not given as much info as an English only tour (which is what I thought this would be) would have conveyed. Would tune out the guide during spanish and then realize she had switched to English. Example: Brought to small shop, cafe and bathroom in Boca. Didn't not see the colorful homes, mannequins from the balconies because we were not given the info and so we didn't leave the shop/cafe. Luckily, we saw it later on our main tour. Like a sightseeing bus, passing by places but learning little about what you are seeing.

The booking process and pickup went very smooth. The minibus was clean and well maintained. We were able to see many different areas and learned a lot of history. The driver and the guide were very helpful and made it an enjoyable tour.
The price was reasonable and would recommend this to anyone who has half a day and wants to see a lot of Buenos Aires.

Good way to see the neighborhoods.
The tour was advertised as a 4 1/2 hour tour. However, it was a 3 1/2 hour tour from the point of hotel pickup which occurred close to 3pm despite the 2:30 pickup time. (The delay was absolutely fine as the van cannot be at each hotel exactly at 2:30). The tour ended at 6pm. We expected another hour.

Pick up was on time and the team were really lovely and passionate about the tour and city.
The tour gives you a good feel for the city and places you can revisit afterwards if you want to spend more time etc.
The only suggestion to improve would be to stick to one language. The guide was constantly switching from English to Spanish and it just became too difficult to retain anything she said. Either it’s all English or Spanish and then you absorb in what they are saying.
I don’t know their business of course whether that’s possible but that’s just how I felt :)

Enjoyed all the history our guide shared. The coach was comfortable and we saw many parts of the city, some close up, some from the coach. We had adequate time to explore, usually. and ended the tour with the option of staying at a restaurant area or going back to our hotel. I found it difficult to catch when the guide switched from Argentinian to English sometimes and felt bad that she had to say everything twice but with only five English speaking passengers she didn't have any choice.

This is a really good tour to get the lay of the city before you go out exploring on your own. Or guide was lovely. ( Augustina) We had both Spanish and English speaking people on board and she did get best to give all information in both languages. We visited all stops mentioned in the itinerary although there was protesting in the plaza de mayo and she was concerned it could be a bit dangerous. Encouraging us to stay nearby the shopping area. We walked by the protestors, they seemed quite peaceful. We didn't feel in any danger. The only issue I had with the day was the driver Gustavo. He fell asleep at the wheel a number of times, mainly whilst sitting at traffic lights and cars were beeping at us. It was actually frightening and very dangerous.

Lots of fun, we saw most touristy locations, Facundo was enthusiastic. No dulce de leche tasting as advertised. I suggest splitting the tours in English speakers and another for Spanish speaker, we had a couple who needed to remind our tour guide to repeat the information in Spanish, they stop asking at the end and probably did not enjoy it as much
