If you have an interest in sailing shops, early technology, or Bristol history, this is a must see. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The presentation of the ship and associated information is excellent.

Fascinating and an adventure itself

Excellent, informative and inspirational. Get there early (opens at 10) if hot. Have plenty of time, shame to rush it as so much to see and take in. It really is well presented, both the SS Great Britain Museum at the entrance to the ship and the ship itself. Fascinating!

Excellent day out. Highly recommend. We went by public transport which stopped a few yards away. The staff were very knowledgeable and told us some very interesting facts about the ship.
