Book your preferred tour option, and meet your guide in central Bath. Then, set off to explore on foot, learning about the UNESCO-listed city and its architecture on route.
Founded by the Romans as a thermal spa and littered with classical treasures, Bath flourished in the 18th century with the development of its honey-stoned, Georgian architecture.
Admire Pulteney Bridge and Gothic Bath Abbey, the coronation site of England’s first king in 973, and then continue to Bath’s showpiece: the Roman Baths.
Pay the entrance fee (depending on option selected) and tour the stunning, column-lined Great Bath and changing rooms, hot pools, and other facilities, all once used for relaxation and socializing by ancient Romans.
See the hot springs, and view the main artifacts in the museum collections, including the famous Minerva’s Head and inscribed stone tablets.
Next, delve into the historical town center to admire its Georgian architecture. See the Pump Rooms and Upper Assembly Rooms, and walk to the world-famous Royal Crescent. Drink in the sumptuous sweep of this 18th-century terrace, and admire the Circus, a circular-shaped terrace formed from curving segments.
After learning about these architectural masterpieces, your tour finishes in the city center.

This was a phenomenal history tour! Ewan kept the tour engaging and informative the whole time. We learned a lot and the time absolutely flew by. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
Nicole_S, Apr 2026
Be ready to be impressed. Our guide Ewan’s narratives and historic knowledge was excellent. He gave us a persuasive presentation and paused to emphasize the historic impact of the architecture and life over the centuries. Good sense of humour . Be prepared, for lots of walking on cobblestones!

Owen’s knowledge is very impressive, he gave us the most incredible amount of information over the best part of 2 hours without once referring to notes. We went to parts of the city that we’d never have explored on our own and thoroughly enjoyed our morning.

From start to finish we were taken on a trip through Bridgerton Era / filming. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. Her sweet personality brought the adventure alive. Her enthusiastic love for the sites was contagious. She made it an absolute delight.

Aquino_N, Apr 2026
Better than expected. The guide was informative and ready to answer our questiions.
Travelers have to be reasonably fit to walk for around 90 minutes, plus another 30 in the Roman Baths.
Sarah_T, Apr 2026
Our guide was friendly and very knowledgable. He easily navigated the whole group around the streets and spoke so all could hear. I highly recommend him.
Hephy_O, Apr 2026
Worth the experience! Bath is a beautiful medivial city full of history and so much to take in! Worth it! Got into the Roman Bath and it really worth the price! You don't see anything from outside you need to be inside to experience it !

Bath has a fascinating history as a boom-and-bust town, rich with questionable characters and crazy coincidences. Our guide LJ was a delight. His knowledge of the hidden history of Bath enlivened the tour and provided insight into the town’s transformation over the centuries from Roman hotspot to Georgian gathering spot.
Janice_H, Mar 2026
Very detailed history of Bath in general, our guide’s knowledge was incredible. And the inclusion of entry to the bath museum made the value overall even better. Definitely worth what we paid!
Jessica_F, Mar 2026
Our tour guide George was absolutely magnificent and able to give us an amazing understanding of the history of Bath. My friend who had lived there fo 8 months at this point was very happy that he was able to learn new things about this beautiful city. Very well done!
Steph_R, Feb 2026
Very good introduction to the city's history. Ewan was very knowledgeable. Would recommend. Thankyou
Diane_M, Feb 2026
Easy to find rep as had an umbrella and was stood outside the abbey. Great tour guide George who was very entertaining. What I would say is the Roman Baths tickets are straight after the tour and time is not negotiable. After a 2 hour walk around Bath I needed a break and there was no opportunity as we had a time slot. I would definitely book the tour but maybe book the roman bath separately. Both are worth doing.

The Tour was fantastic. The guide was Very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely would recommend it

The walking tour of Bath with William was great. As part of a small group of solo travellers, the experience felt both professional and personal. William’s knowledge of Bath’s history was impressive.
The pacing was perfect - neither too long nor too short - with a balanced amount of information and walking. I particularly appreciated the intimacy of our small group; seeing the larger, crowded tours nearby made me realise how lucky we were to have the space to explore and ask questions without feeling rushed (I was part of an 11am tour on a Monday in winter)

George was an amazing guide! I loved the pace of the tour and appreciated his candor. Would highly recommend!!!
Susan_C, Dec 2025
Jamie our guide was both knowledgeable and charming. Great tour - history and layout of town thanks!
Joanne_S, Dec 2025
John was a very enthusiastic, informed and well-paced guide. We enjoyed the 90-minute walking tour (but didn't visit the Roman Baths as we had done this on a previous trip to the city). Would definitely recommend this walking tour to anyone visiting Bath and requiring an overview of the key sights in the city.
Charmaine_F, Dec 2025
I did not get to experience this adventure, this was due to non identifiable of the guide. There was no indication of who the guide was in such a crowded place. I was very disappointed . All guides should ware bright Identification to show who they are .
Dianne_B, Nov 2025
Great experience, well worth visiting and the knowledge shared was great, really enjoyed the experience of the Roman baths and the time we had was ideal, not too short but not too long and very good price. Would recommend the Walk around Bath.
