Didn’t know what to expect prior to arriving at Stonehenge. After learning the history of the stones and then viewing them I was amazed. Would recommend this tour to other even if their opinion is that it’s “just a group of stones.

Sat Navy led me down a side track next to site only to be told by the girl at the turn to carry on for visitors centre in my beloved Jaguar down this very bumby track about 4miles long instead of just turning back about 400mtr. So bad I've damaged a tyre now. Why would someone do that?

I used Viator when I visited Niagara Falls July 2018 and it was super easy. Now when I visit Stonehenge I remember Viator and it is easy to have international tickets like that. Easy and cheap. Thank you Viator. Hope will issue more international tickets again with you!!

It boggles the mind how such a feat of engineering was completed (and with a remodel!) without modern tools. We were fortunate to visit on an absolutely beautiful day (sun and comfortable temps). Paths are easy to walk - and you can wander the countryside amidst the sheep and cows.
Prebooking is recommended - it was amazing how quickly I picked up our tickets.
Not even the nearby highway impacted the visit.

From booking online, to the welcome desk, the exhibition, the shuttle to the awesomeness of the burial barrows and the standing stones along with the cheerful demeanour of all the staff, a superb experience.

The preserved history here is amazing. Well worth seeing. Buying the ticket in advance gave peace of mind, and maybe a shorter line, but in September it wasn't overly booked. We had tickets for 1430 but arrived about 2 hours early and were allowed to go whenever we wanted. Recommend walking from the visitor center to the henge - nice flat walk through fields full of other ancient things - barrows, mounds.

What a good day to pick to see the stones. The weather was excellent. Everything was well organised and catered for my brother in law who has a wheeler. The guide on the bus saw him coming and made sure that the right place was reserved for him.

It was our first time to Stonehenge. Glad we saw it. There's an energy to the place. The Landscape is amazing. There are buses that take you back and forth to the Stones. Lovely gift shop. We enjoyed our day trip to Stonehenge.

A pleasant walk over the ancient grounds with interesting things to see along the way. The stones themselves were awe inspiring. The provision of shuttle bus options were very good. The gift shop and cafe are poorly designed and did not cope well with the volume of visitors

At £19 very disappointing value for money. You can get a very clear (and free) view of the stones from surrounding roads. Around £5/6 would be a fair price as the accompanying exhibit is also disappointing.

Get there early to take nice pictures and soak up the history and hopefully if you’re lucky the weather will good too. Wear appropriate attire if you want to walk around and see the other neolithic rocks.
The other thing was the pricing, it is high and after 11am its so busy and the queue to getting your ticket will be incredibly long.
If you know the area, live close by or know someone who does, you probably could park there and literally walk it to see the monument (and not pay). The only person who asked to see our ticket was the bus driver...
Other than that, the information on the audio is fascinating and i would definitely recommend renting those.

If you are not in good physical condition you should take the bus down to the stones and back. It was difficult for me to walk p.

Stonehenge was amazing, just a shame it is so expensive, especially when you visit the cafe as well. The exhibition was also disappointing, when busy you can’t really get to read things.

In my opinion, Stonehenge is a rip-off and on behalf of the English community here in England, I apologise to all tourists for this. Not so long ago you could park your car next to the stones and have a picnic on one of them - no souvenir shops, crowds or anything! Now you have to pay £19 ahead on the Internet or £23 on the gate to get bused from a carpark some five miles away with only standing space to the stones. You get there, walk around them (no touching please!), and get bused back. I would suggest visiting Avebury which is twenty-two miles away. Many more Neolithic stones around an entire village with a Neolithic ditch. Also, a nice pub in the centre of the village where you can admire the stones. Only £3 for parking and free entry to the stones. Also, nearby is Kennet Long Barrow, Silbury Hill (look up on Google) and the White Horse on the side of the hill created by Neolithic man. Best of all, entrance to these attractions is FREE! Stonehenge is simply as a result of the Discovery Channel and nothing more. It is interesting but not in the way it is now. Sorry! Don't visit and save your money.

Quick service. Friendly staff. The structure remains breathtaking. Lucky for us the weather perfect and we got great pictures

My family and I were visiting from Washington DC, taying with my best friend in Bristol and decided to tour Stonehenge. It is such a beautiful and historic place. You can download the app on your phone to listen to the self guided tour. The cafe is nice and bathrooms are clean too.

The stones are unbelievably amazing. We are glad that it is preserved for future generations. Our pre booked tickets were acknowledged and we were admitted with no hassles despite our default time of entry is .0930 hours. Good on you!

Go early! We were there at 9.00 am and there were hardly any crowds but by the time we finished about 11 am it was so busy. Always remember to get the headphones, gives a great commentary and a must for the visit. The museum is worth spending time in but go after you go to the stones. I can remember many many years ago we were there with the children and just walked through the paddock to the stones - how things have changed!

Loved it from first sighting! Memorable, awe inspiraring! You will come away shaking your head in in appreciation of being in the presence
of such a monumental achievement. And the wonder of how and why will stay with you long after your visit. Second time for me 14 years apart, first time for 19 year old grandson - taking photos with smile on his face...thats my best memory of Stonehenge until the next time...
