We had a tour and tasting at two wineries, and the wines were very good. Ended up at Chateau Margaux for a quick photo op (not a tasting), but it was good to see the chateau. The highlight of our 1/2 day was our guide, Margot, who was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. She made it a well worth experience.

Our guide, Sylvie, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. The problem was that we had eight adults packed into the van which made it very uncomfortable. the tour should be limited to four or six people.

Concerning our vehicule, we use comfortable Mercedes vans, that are commonly used for 8 passengers.

Great knowledge from Antoine. Visited 2 vineyards and the chocolate shop. Really good day out and met a few new friends. Wines were amazing and bought 2 bottles of Margaux. Definitely recommend!

It was a great way to reach two excellent vineyards that would have been impossible to reach without a car. Our guides (one was still in training) were informed and personable— and even arranged for us to have great weather!

We had Gaspar as our guide. He was clearly knowledgeable about Bordeaux wines. I now know why some Bordeaux wines include Chateau in their names and others from the same vineyard don't (you'll have to take the tour to find out the answer). He was very outgoing and pleasant, and provided significantly to our enjoyment.
The two hostesses at the vineyards we visited were very pleasant, gave us a very good explanation of their specific processes and provided great descriptions of their wines.
While not an expert by any means, I got the clear impression that the two vineyards selected for this tour were very representative. The wines were all different which made trying them to be an education unto itself.
For anyone looking for an excellent wine tour that doesn't take up a full day, I strongly recommend this one.

It was an easy pace, our driver was very engaging.
My apologies I forgot his name, but he came from Chile originally.
The wines were a fair value, and the surprise orange wine was a nice bonus. Even if it isn’t my cup of tea.

Margaux was great! She had so much knowledge not only about the region we visited but about the whole history of wine production in Bordeaux. The chateau’s were also wonderful with knowledgeable staff and great stories. Wonderful experience even with the 100 degree temps

Well put together and honoring of the local wine makers history and traditions. Our guide was informative and entertaining. He orchestrated a review as a game in the return trip, even with a prize for all at the end. The wineries chosen and the presenters all had a passion for their vineyards and the wine making process that each one uses. It was an enlightening and enjoyable afternoon.

Would have liked to visit more wineries-we only went to two and the second was just a tasting, not a tour. Our guide was great, however, and provided a lot of information. He also made a special stop to Chateau Margaux for my daughter who is named Margaux.

We enjoyed our half-day visit to the Margaux wine region. The two wineries we visited were lovely and very different from each other. Nichole, our guide, was very friendly and informative. We enjoyed some very nice wines and learned a lot about the Bordeaux region.

Having done both full day trips and half day trips I think doing Margaux in half day is a perfect plan if you don’t have too much time in Bordeaux and want to enjoy the city food scene. The 2pm departure left on time and we were welcome very warmly by Valentin from Oh lala team. We were 4 in total and the transport was clean and comfy. We visited two chateaus one with grand cru appellation. We got offered to try good vintage and even second labels which gives you an idea of how the wine is sold in the region. Very educational and fun. I would do it again next year just to see what they produce next.

Wine tasting is not exactly done like that. You are supposed to change your taste between tastings with bread or cheese or water. This was like we throw wine in the same glass with no intervals. Taste was gone. There was also not enough space in the van more like packed Ike sardines.

Our 1/2 day tours allow you to visit 2 Châteaux + a photo stop at Château Margaux in 4 hours.
At each Château, you visit : the vineyard + vinification cellar + ageing cellar + 3 different wines tasting. Our guides also explain the terroir, the Bordeaux appellations and the art of tasting. So for the tasting, in order to have everybody drinking the same wine and getting explanation at the same time, we serve one wine after the other in the same glass. And you can of course have some water.
For the transport, our vans are all MERCEDES, which offer full confort to 8 passengers.
