    Emerald processing

    Omar our guide along with Daniel and Andres made this a very fun experience. My husband even enjoyed it very much! Omar was very knowledgeable on the emerald industry in Colombia. While Daniel and Andres were very knowledgeable emerald faceting and carving. Highly recommend this experience.

    This was a wonderful experience. The employees made sure we were getting to try the techniques on our own and really feel like we did it ourselves, while still being available to assist and guide as much or as little as we needed.

    Would recommend the carving portion of this experience. It was fun. However, I got my emerald in a ring and upon first wear, the emerald fell out and I lost it. It was not worth putting in a ring or pendant. It was an absolute waste of money. Just take your carved emerald home.

    This was a fantastic experience - like nothing I've seen before. It was such a unique experience being able to choose our own emerald stone to carve. A memory we will cherish forever. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming and we ended up having such a good laugh together. They were total professionals. We thoroughly enjoyed this, thank you!

    Real Emeralds to Take Home

    This was such an amazing experience. We were greeted by Omar who was very easy to locate and then escorted us to the workshop. We met the master crafter Andres that really is a perfectionist and helped us with our emerald. His experience and knowledge is extremely valuable, he gave us his honest opinion about which stones would be best to work with (sturdy vs fragile on the work desk). I can say we worked so hard! The stones were gorgeous! They were patient and very great teachers, I can tell how an emerald is flawed!! I must say this is a true workshop, once the stone is complete, they provide it in a jewel case to take home. However, like I did I was able to have my stones made into pendants for an additional fee, my friend turned hers into a stunning ring! I'd do this experience again with the guys, it was so great!! The only recommendation is if you have acrylics it isn't recommended BUT, this place resolved that issue, they placed the stone for carving on a wax tool for better control. Such a cool experience! Must do!

    Fue un tour excelente desde el momento de darte indicaciones para el punto de encuentro, la explicación de las esmeraldas y el momento cumbre cuando llegas al taller te explican como ir esculpiendo tu esmeralda, siempre con paciencia y mucha delicadeza al momento de guiarte en el proceso hasta que culminas. No hay que perderse está experiencia.
