After you will taste four varieties of Colombian coffee prepared with four different methods. As part of this class, you will visit the local market and learn to cook 3 typical dishes. If you are a vegetarian, don't worry, we have a vegetarian version of most of the dishes.

We are coffee farmers from Fusagasugá and a coffee company with a 50-year tradition that seeks to improve the quality of life of the regional coffee community through sustainable practices. All the coffees that you will have in this experience are organic, of sustainable and fair origin. Our experience is not a typical coffee tasting, it is a meeting where we will discover the sensory aspects of it, enjoying different ways of preparing coffee (filtered, pressure and immersion).

This experience is a sensory journey where tradition and taste merge, in this experience you will explore the richness of Colombian schnapps and cocoa, two essential elements of our identity, discover the secrets of its history, production and the unique notes that make them incomparable. First we will explore the legacy of the spirit and cocoa in Colombia and how these beverages evolved over the centuries and their importance in Colombian culture, then we will pair four typical Colombian spirits, from 4 different regions of Colombia with 3 different chocolates of origin, highlighting the contrasts and harmonies of each combination. We will finish the experience with a typical Colombian coffee and spirit drink, the carajillo, and a delicious empanada. This experience is a space to share stories, discover new ways to appreciate the schnapps and cocoa, and connect with Colombian cultural richness.

In company with our local hosts, we will start a hike where you can appreciate the landscape with its different crops and vegetation. In our cottage we will start a class of artisan cheese followed by delicious elevens typical Colombians that we will enjoy surrounded by the heat of the fireplace, the sunset, nature and Colombian landscapes. Well-travelled Bogotá residents (native English speakers) share their knowledge of the city with the group and take them to lively and ambient bars in the centre of the city where they will have the opportunity to mingle with fellow travelers. The choice of bars may vary according to the size and interests of the group but popular options are the following - El Irish Pub, El Candelario and The Corner 12. We will enjoy some trivia games and other fun activities to ensure that everybody is having a good time and to give people a chance to get to know each other. Throughout the pub crawl, I (and the other guides if the group is big enough to require more guides ) will share my knowledge of the city, Colombian traditions and the Spanish language. I speak fluent English, Spanish and French and any other guides will also be multilingual. Two free drinks included (beer, soda, non-alcoholic cocktails).
