Michael is a fantastic tour guide. He is a wealth of knowledge. Driver and guide was Paul who was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely nice. Highlights aquarium, stave church, Haakonshallen and Christian Mikkelsen.

My wife and I enjoyed this tour and felt that we gained a larger exposure and better appreciation for the city of Bergen as a whole, from it. Our guide, Paul, was prompt, professional, and very friendly. Having grown up and lived in Bergen, he has extensive knowledge and was eager to share it with us. The van he drove us around in was quiet, clean, and comfortable. He structured the route so as to arrive at the sites at times where we were able to avoid the large crowds. Another thing we appreciated is that he was able to get tickets for the tour of the castle (Gimlehaugen); although it's on the list of sites, it's not always guaranteed to be open to tours. All the stops were interesting and informative, and Paul made it fun for us.

Our guide Arne was waiting for us when we disembarked the MS TROLLFJORD at Hurtegruten Wharf.
Our first stop was a Pharmacy to pick up a prescription that was required urgently.
The next stop was the Floibanen. While the weather was clear.
We both had some mobility issues and with Arne’s gracious support we were able to complete the itinerary comfortably. Exceptional value - great introduction to Bergen. Thank you Arne

Paul was great.
Each site was fully explained and an enjoyable visit. We especially liked the viewpoint to start the tour.
Lots of personal input by Paul made this a super outing and very interesting.

What a great experience this tour was! Paul was very knowledgeable and willing shared insights into Norway’s history and culture. It was nice to go at our own pace. Paul saw two cruise ships in port so he rearranged the tour to ensure we maximized our experience at each place. This tour is a bit expensive but worth every cent with the quality of the experience! He even managed to keep a teenager engaged in the day’s excursions! Highly recommend!

Paul was great. He was very knowledgeable and very fun. We really enjoyed the sights and tour. My favorite part was playing the music in the car of the composer Edvard Grieg.
