Great Day at Great Wall

The visit to the Great Wall with Demi fulfilled all my expectations. She made this bucket list experience a memorable, informative, and fun day. At the Great Wall, she was attentive to my pace and alert to the challenges of navigating the steep and/or narrow steps and towers. She was eager to point out favored vistas and take phone pictures of me as often as I wanted. Demi was very knowledgeable and shared her information and insights freely. As the day evolved, the narrations changed to conversations that were very engaging. This continued throughout the day as we moved on to the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was definitely more vast than I had anticipated. There was a lot of walking (bring plenty of water if it's a hot day) but Demi adjusted the pace so that it was doable and enjoyable. I found Demi to be funny, smart, and responsible. I felt extremely comfortable and safe with our car and driver for the trip to Mutianyu and around Beijing traffic. It was another aspect that contributed to a terrific day. Demi provided me with a fun, memorable day. I highly recommend her and this tour.

A Guided Tour with Demi Through the Forbidden City and Mutianyu Great Wall

We had a limited time visiting Beijing and decided to go for a guided tour which we do not regret. Starting off we went to the forbidden city where Demi was very knowledgeable and led us through telling us everything we needed to know and more. After an interesting visit there we drove towards the great wall section of Mutianyu. Demi took us to a nice restaurant where we had a buffet style lunch which was very tasty and reasonably priced. Navigating the forbidden city and the great wall can be challenging if you don’t speak Mandarin but with Demi around it was no problem at all! Driver was good, and the car journey was overall comfortable. We had a day with Demi and would absolutely recommend everyone to do a guided tour with her!

Super moment touristique avec notre guide Linda et notre conductrice. Belle surprise de constater que nous n'étions que ma femme et moi pour effectuer ces visites. Linda est une guide très prévenante, qui un parle un anglais parfait et n'hésite pas à reformuler pour nous aider à bien comprendre. Linda est très cultivée et partage avec beaucoup de plaisir ses connaissances sur son pays. Un point effort également : nous avions volontairement choisi un programme chargé compte tenu de notre peu de temps à Pékin, mais malgré cela, a aucun moment nous nous sommes sentis stressés ou bousculés pendant nos visites , ce qui était vraiment appréciable. Un organisme également très professionnel, puisque Demi nous a contacté en amont de notre journée de visite pour bien caler l'heure et le lieu de rendez-vous. En conclusion, une super journée, merci à Demi , Linda et notre conductrice . Nous les recommandons vivement. Célia et Nicolas 20 mai 2024
