This food and wine tour surpassed anything we could have dreamed of! Our group was the perfect size and Moises, our guide, was the best! He took the time to get to know everyone and where we were from as well as our food and drink preferences. My husband does not drink and Moises curated different nonalcoholic drinks at every single place for him to match the food! The restaurants were each out of this world phenomenal and you felt like we a true local! We loved hearing the stories of the families of these resturants and wonderful details of culture along the way. We cannot recommend this tour enough, it was the highlight of our trip!

Great tour of local tapa bars with almost pre-customized selections. Ophelie made it fun. Just be ready for 4 drinks. (The vermouth and the patata braves were amazing). Would definitely recommend Ophilie.

Enjoyed the various bar styles and tapas. Andres was very passionate about his neighborhood and we gained an appreciation for Catalan and Barcelona culture. The locations were nice and the food was very good. The group was a bit large (10 of us) for some of the locations, however the bar owners were very accommodating and we squeezed in.

What a great time. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about, well everything. 😄 We learned all about Spanish tapas and wine and so much more. He was also able to customize the experience for everyone in the group depending on their likes, dislikes, or eating restrictions. We had two other groups on our tour and by the end we all felt like best friends. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Barcelona.

This is a gem of an excursion and it rocketed into my top 5 all time favorites. Andres is a fantastic host. He lives in the neighborhood we visited and knows the history and importance of Barcelona and he knows the wines and the traditional tapas served in this area of the city and in the rest of Spain. The wines were unique to the province and each had its own character. The bars we visited were equally unique and special.
I will remember this event fondly and highly recommend the tour and Andres.

This was THE perfect food tour and Andres was the ultimate guide. Our only regret was that we should have booked this tour on the day we arrived. The stops that Andres picked were all “local” bars, in a couple of blocks vicinity, that we would have never gone to on our own. Our group of seven all got along famously. Andres made sure that all of our food requirements were met as he tailored each offering to our specific needs. This resulted in food and wine pairings to be enjoyed by all. Andres also provided us at the end of the tour with a PDF file of his favorite restaurants in Barcelona! Do not hesitate to book this tour with Andres.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Moises was absolutely amazing, extremely knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Spanish wine and tapas. What really set this tour apart was that he took us away from the tourist traps and into a local neighborhood of Barcelona, where we visited small, family-owned spots with authentic charm. This was the highlight of our trip, and I highly recommend booking with Moises if you want a truly unique and memorable experience.

Thanks for your feedback! Unfortunately, you do not specify what led to the rating of 2/5 you have written with some misspelled words, which is extremely serious. As we recall, you left the tour at the first stop because you were not feeling well, missing 3 more stops that complete the experience and storyline.
Suspiciously, this review comes exactly the same day when we receive our first 1/5 review from a different date, from those two different dates we have received four 5/5 reviews from other travellers. It is also curious that you work in the food industry in Spain, and are leaving reviews without finishing the tours. This has led to an extensive investigation both internally and externally to apply the necessary, short term and long term measures. We are looking at details from every single tour between these two reviews (one week apart).
In the meantime, be sure that the tour will only improve in quality.

Extremely disappointing. I have been on many food tours, and this one has been the most disappointing. It took 50 minutes from the time the tour started to receive the first item of food. None of the food items looked like any of the items pictured on the website.
Stop #1 - Hot inside. After a long wait (over 30 min), we received potatoes. The tour guide (Andres) gave us 10 minutes to eat. It was rushed.
Stop #2 - No air conditioning. There were not enough chairs, and 3 of us had to stand. At that stop we got one slice of bread, a cheese, and 1 piece of ham. I cannot believe I paid all this money for a below mediocre food experience.
Stop #3 - Food and wine were better.
Stop #4 - Rushed and we did not fit around the table. Squished like sardines. I definitely left hungry.
Im sorry to say I would not recommend this tour to anyone. And Im not even a picky person. This was not a good experience.

We would like to respond as sincerely as possible to this review, especially because after 8 years of running this tour it is the first 1/5 review, which is an incredibly serious matter to us.
After carefully reading, there are several points that you mention that are relative to the culture rather than the experience, however we will be going in detail with our response, directly made by Andres who was your guide:

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience with us didn’t meet your expectations. I remember that tour well and, from our interactions, I had the impression you were enjoying yourself, which is why your words came as a surprise and saddening note to receive.
We do our very best to deliver an engaging and high-quality food tour that reflects not only the richness of local cuisine but also the warmth and vibrancy of Barcelona. That said, your concerns deserve a response.
Regarding the wait for the first food stop, we work with small, independent restaurants that prepare dishes fresh and tailored to each group — including considerations for allergies and dietary preferences. On particularly busy days, like the sunny Saturday you joined us, kitchens tend to be busy, thus slight waiting times are the norm, as in any normal restaurant in the city.
On the matter of air conditioning and comfort, you visited during one of the hottest days of the year. While most traditional restaurants in Spain are designed with fans and natural ventilation rather than full A/C systems, they are not insulated as the outside and inside are open. This is a factor we cannot control and are accustomed to.
You also raised a point about seating. That day, we made an effort to accommodate a guest in a wheelchair, which did impact the table layout. In fact, I chose to give up my own seat to ensure everyone else could be as comfortable as possible. Inclusivity is a core value for us, and while we try to make adjustments seamless, I recognize it may have created discomfort for others, and I regret that.
As for the food itself, we aim to reflect seasonal offerings and authentic local ingredients, which may sometimes differ in appearance from promotional photos — though the same quality and quantity are always intended. Most guests on your tour that day expressed satisfaction and even left five-star reviews, which makes your experience stand out and prompts us to take it seriously.
Lastly, I want to acknowledge how disappointed you felt. That matters. While I respectfully disagree with parts of your assessment, I do hear you, and your feedback will be used to improve. I hope that one day we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you again and leave you with a much better impression of what Barcelona has to offer.

Moises was a phenomenal guide and took us to unique, family run restaurants and bars that only the locals go to for tapas and amazing wine! Everything we ate and drank was absolutely delicious! I would do this tour all over again. We had a special fun group of travelers and Moises really made the tour special! Highly recommend this tour.
