Booked a trip around Barbados with my wife and another couple to orientated ourselves....wasted £500 plus most of a day of our holiday. Couldn't contact either the operator or Viator when no one turned up.

Don’t do this tour it’s scam. She didn’t show up then paid $30 for a tour around the island to see Rihanna’s house and nothing else!

I tried emailing operator twice -- NO RESPONSE. I tried texting operator night before experience to confirm and coordinate pick up time -- NO RESPONSE. I tried calling operator the morning of our arrival via cruise ship -- CALLS WENT STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL WITH NO RESPONSE. Got off ship, and no surprise, operator was nowhere to be found. Wound up booking a completely different driver and will be disputing the credit card charge if Viator doesn't refund me for the whole thing! Total scam!

We had to meet the driver outside of the port gates. There was no sign, no refreshments or snacks as promised. His car was small for two adults and two boys. Then, his air conditioning did not work. Also there was no tour of the island just us asking questions. We gave him the three things that we wanted to do and had no plan for timing with afternoon traffic and making the time to get back to the ship. We had one Cave tour and lunch and spent the rest of the day in the car. The driver was nice enough, but was not properly trained on how to execute a tour of Barbados and making us feel like we were getting the best service. We paid over $500 for less than five hours of being together. Stay away

We had a nice day with Sylvain. He was a great driver and took good care of us along the day.
We did go to Harrison's Cave and St. Nicholas Abbey. On the way, he showed us Rihanna's childhood home.
Even if it is a completely customised tour with absolutely no inclusion (no admission fee), I believe this tour should be cheaper. Although the tour mentionned inclusions such as snacks, bottled water, soda/pop and alcoholic beverages, there was none.
Communication before tour was poor. No answer to my first message. Then the day before I got 30 minutes Internet, and I was lucky because I got answers at this moment from the operator.
I had read the other reviews before, so I did not expect much, but after all, we had a good day.

Poorly organized, the oldest taxi on the island was used (with over 400,000 km and the check engine light on), and the list of proposed activities was unclear. It would be better to focus on just two activities (a tourist site and a beautiful beach with a quality restaurant) and arrange an agreement with a local taxi service to ensure a better experience. Car travel is slow, and the island is too large to wander aimlessly from one end to the other.

Julian was awesome. Knowledgeable funny and a great driver. The only feedback I have would be to maybe. Communicate with the guest a day prior to ensure the location of pickup is easy and maybe provide water/snacks. The tour was a bit pricey to not have those few items. Otherwise the experience was nice! Julian is good tour guide!

Vehicle was quite comfortable.
We had hoped the driver guide would suggest points of interest for this private outing but he had very little working knowledge and did not have much to say. We finally ended up at the Abbey which wad nice but s fairly long ride.
The company wss good as we were met on time but our fellow just needed more training.

What a great day we had!! Our driver, Wayne, we can now call our new friend!! He was sooo knowledgeable about Barbados history and culture. Things that we’d seen in passing suddenly had meaning after he explained it to us. Places we would never have seen on our own. We went every where. A there were a few times when he went out of his way to show us something we asked about. We had a delicious lunch in Speightstown. He even explained how to read license plates for the different parishes. And what a friendly, kind, compassionate man!! It went from being a “private tour” to an exciting adventure because of him. I heartily recommend this your and ask for Wayne!! ❤️

Do to the unexpected rain, we had to make the best of it. Julian the tour guide was great. The only downside was the rain so we didn’t get to as much, but I would book again in better weather.

We spent an incredible day on beautiful Barbados with our charming guide, Julian. We truly enjoyed everything we saw, but the hunt gardens and lunch were our favorite part of the day. We tasted barracuda for the first time, and all the cuisine was exquisite. We would love to visit Barbados again when we have more time. What a beautiful island and welcoming friendly people.

Wayne was really nice, and he certainly knows his way around the island. We only had 3 hours for our tour, so we weren't able to stop anywhere, eat local delicacies, etc. We saw downtown Bridgetown, the George Washington house (from the outside), the cricket stadium, the military cemetery, Rihanna's childhood home, and the west coast up to Speightstown.
The cons: he was ~30 minutes late, and his car was a beat up, small Toyota.
I think you could do the same tour for much less money.

Really great guy, funny and interesting, let down a little by being told facts about the island during the tour, which we later found weren’t correct. Also pick up was late and planning disorganised. I never received a response to the email I sent to the provider when I booked the trip and didn’t hear anything, so ended up calling the night before.

the cost for 6 was $1000. We had private trips on ST and St Barts for about $800 for same period of time. Plus, the driver was on his phone for half the trip working on other clients.

Stephany was very nice and eager to please. Unfortunately her experience as a guide was limited. Her car was a rough ride. I was disappointed she wasn’t given an understanding of what was included in the tour. I had sent in a draft itinerary to the office, but the office didn’t give it to her. I asked for recommendations on stops but it was tough to get any. I believed I was paying for an experienced tour guide in an SUV or Minivan, but didn’t get either

Julian was AMAZING!!!! I've dubbed him the unofficial Mayor of Barbados because he knows so many people, everything you'd want to know about Barbados, and all the amazing spots on the island. I cannot recommend this tour enough - it's too good to pass up!!

Our driver Duane picked us up on Christmas Day to show us the beautiful island of Barbados! Many of the stops included in this tour were closed for the holiday but Duane managed to make the day special including a stop at a local roadside restaurant for an amazing Christmas dinner.

We had an unfortunate experience with this “tour” and cannot recommend. In our experience, this was a taxi driver, not a tour company.
We booked the $340 tour (2 people) on Christmas Day. We provided our interests to the operator several days in advance and were told an itinerary was being custom planned.
When we arrived in Barbados off our ship, we were introduced to our “guide.” We asked for our itinerary for the day. Nothing was planned. We were told we would drive around Barbados and “take pictures” and do “whatever we wanted.”
This was our driver’s first time doing the job — doing a favor for Julian.
We immediately called Julian asking what was planned for us. He told us almost everything on the island was closed (unfortunately). (Of course, the cost of the “tour” was the same). Haphazardly, he booked us on a snorkeling excursion, which was enjoyable, but we could have booked snorkeling ($30pp on Viator) and a taxi driver from the port on our own.
Days earlier by email, we had expressed interest in hiking. Again, nothing was planned. However, during the “tour,” our driver picked a hike on the northern end of Barbados (which he found on Google). We drove 45 minutes to the “start point” — a confusing field in back-country Barbados. Our driver had no sense of where or how to do the “hike.” We did not hike and turned around to the port.
The day was a disaster and it was the fault of no planning of this operator. Our driver offered no knowledge of Barbados. We paid $340 for a taxi driver for the day — double the normal price.
Immediately following, we asked for half of the $340 back. We thought that was fair. We received no response from Julian.
We would recommend avoiding this operator unless you are looking for a significantly overpriced taxi for the day.

Barbados is truly a beautiful Island. Our private driver, Mr. Blake was amazing from beginning to the end. We were picked up at the entrance to Bridgetown cruise port. Mr. Blake took us all over the island and we saw everything we wanted. This is the best way to see Barbados without other tourists. Do not hesitate and book your tour today. We scheduled a private tour with Viator while in Barbados for our anniversary... Julian was our tour guide & driver.. we asked him to take us to see the islands beautiful scenery, famous places .. We saw a lot of beautiful scenery, learned a bit of history & had a wonderful lunch at an amazing local restaurant.. He was a wonderful guide & was very informative of the history of the island... I was a little disappointed our day was rescheduled from Monday to Wed due to possible bad weather (which wound up being sunny & fine).. but it was a very nice scenic tour, he was very informative & showed many beautiful beaches churches & sites.. etc..

Julian was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about Barbados. He was willing to tailor the tour to whatever we were most interested in. We told him our priorities were seeing the green monkeys and sea turtles, and visiting the caves; and that we weren’t interested in beaches or rum. Julian planned accordingly, and we had a great day exploring the island.
