Overview
Visit the Barbados Wildlife Reserve at feeding time to interact with some of the resident animals. This half-day guided tour lets you learn about the biology and behavior of animals such as peacocks, iguana, tortoise, and the Barbados green monkey. You'll also make stops on the East Coast and North Point of the island for panoramic views and photo ops on the journey.

PLEASE READ ALLL OF THE BELLOW INFORMATION AS IT GREATLY IMPACTS YOUR EXCURSION. We offer pick-ups at close to 300 locations across Barbados, a combination of Hotels, condominiums and villas. Please note that we only pick up from Hotels and Villas along the south and west coast. If your tour is NOT a private tour, you may have up to 4 other pick-up points beside your own pick up at your accommodation. Most of the time these pick-ups are done within a 5k distance of but occasionally they are within 8km. Some tours the picks ups are along the route to the first attraction so they may be more spread out across a wider section of the island. Pick-ups are arranged in such manner, so they do not take up a lot of your day. Because we are unaware of where these pick-ups will be at the time of your booking, we will give you a wide window of time for your pick-up. On the afternoon before your tour, we will contact you by email to provide you with a more accurate pick-up time within the window provided to you at this time. YOUR PICK-UP WINDOW IS: 8:30am-10:40am PLEASE NOTE !! If you do not enter or select a pick up location your tour will be cancelled as without this information we can not collect you for the tour. PLEASE submit the name of your hotel or accommodation at the time of booking!

- We require a minimum of 2 persons to run this tour if the minimum has not been met you will be contacted at least 36 hours before to cancel the tours and you will be given an alternate date or refunded
- PLEASE NOTE !! If you do not enter or select a pick up location your tour will be cancelled as without this information we can not collect you for the tour. PLEASE submit the name of your hotel or accommodation at the time of booking. If your accommodation is not listed please select the closest hotel to your accommodation. Once your booking is made please then contact us through the message center to advise us of the location you are staying. Please be mindful we only pick up from coastal areas along the South and West Coast unless you are booked on a private tour or your booking is 10 or more persons. In such cases we can make exceptions.
- If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars. A:Absolutely! Due to time constraints, cruise ship passengers must select the Private Transport Tour Option. The private option will ensure that your group is picked up and returned based on your ship's arrival and departure time. Please be sure to contact the local tour operator after confirmation to schedule your tour.

We really enjoyed our half-day out and our visit to the nature park. We were picked up on time by Charles, who was an excellent guide.
Feeding time with the monkeys was an awesome experience but there other parts of the trip were just as enjoyable.

Our tour began with a prompt pick up and our driver Shein was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and a great driver. We stopped at a scenic lookout before getting into the nature park. We had plenty of time to explore the park before the monkey feeding. We opted out of visiting the caves but decided on a wonderful lunch instead. It was a great day!

Great experience !
The monkeys are wild but offered free, fresh fruit at 11am and 2pm everyday so MANY show up. They swing on vines and eat the grapes and cherries and apple halves offered. It's a wonderful way to see monkeys in their environment. The walk from the van to the monkeys is very short but downhill and although paved a little rough so not good for a "walker" but ok for a person who just needs stability hiking poles. We went with a teenager who loved it. There are other animals to see across the monkey viewing area- tortoises, birds etc. It's a very nice destination.
The van is air-conditioned and comfortable and teh driver thatw e had was very knowledgeable about the island and teh different areas. Worth the price!

You need a bathing suit and towel if you are going to do the flower cave (which wasn't made clear to us) and the cost isn't included in the tour. We greatly enjoyed the monkey feeding experience but that only lasted 15 minutes (out of the 4 hours) and was extremely crowded. That said, there was plenty of opportunity to see well and get good pictures. The wildlife refuge which happened to be in the same location as the monkey feeding as nothing to write home about. The majority of the time is spent in the car traveling from one location to the next. If you get car sick be aware that the roads are windy. The overlook at flower cave was breathtaking and totally worth it.

We had a driver. I wouldn’t call him a guide. He did no “guiding.” He brought us to places. He showed us a map. That’s about it.

It was wonderful to see all of the animals in their natural habitat. We found it to be quite informative, and we enjoyed learning about the different quirks of the animals.

Winston was an excellent tour guide showing us some beautiful spots as well as the wildlife reserve. Being there for the monkey feeding was excellent as you got close to the monkeys (you’re not allowed to feed or pet them).

Although the tour was due to start at 10:30. Unknown to us the pick up at our hotel was at 8:00. We didn’t see the email late the day before (as we were travelling) so we were still in bed asleep when the pick up arrived. Condenser missed the tour.

When I booked I thought this was a monkey feeding experience for my OH and me. What we got was an employee throwing fruit etc to a group of monkeys. It was difficult to see as other people were standing in front of us. Not very exciting.
Also we stopped off on the way back so people could go down a cave and swim in the water down there. There should be a warning that it is extremely slippery. Having broken my femur 7 months ago I was petrified of going down there so didn’t bother.

Fun day seeing the monkeys and taking a ride around Barbados and hearing some fun facts about the island. Lots of time spent in the car. Would have been better to spend a bit more time at the activities.

This was a must visit green monkeys tour in Barbados. We had Vincent as our tour guide and he was fantastic. He was patient, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and informative about the history, geography and wildlife of Barbados. We visited the Barbados Wildlife Reserve and saw green monkeys up close, peacocks, iguanas, tortoises and etc. We also had rum punch at the Reserve. I highly recommended Vincent as your tour guide and I would do this green monkeys tour again the next time I visit Barbados.

Our guide Ryan was absolutely brilliant, so knowledgable, friendly and full of interesting facts about the island. He took us to beautiful viewpoints and showed us some amazing spots that we would have never found on our own. Watching the monkeys was a really cool experience

Brilliant experience, we had our own private tour guide. Winston was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about the tour and the island. I loved the monkeys, one monkey sat on me. It was so lovely to see them interact with each other, I would definitely recommend this experience

We had a nice time with our host, Ryan who was professional and kind. He was very knowledgeable about the island. The views from Cherry Hill were beautiful. The monkey feeding experience was magical. Being surrounded by wild green monkeys was an experience not to be missed! The drive through the countryside with all of Ryan’s commentary was educational and fun. The only downside to our adventure was a very nasty group of 4 people who were also guests. At the end of the tour, they created a huge scene with no provocation. They were probably scammers because they threatened the driver with getting their money back calling him racist and accusing him of “turning the whole tour against them”. That never happened. Ryan handled it with grace. My husband and I would take another tour with Ryan due to his professionalism in the face of adversity. I was horrified and embarrassed that people would behave like that. If you read a bad review from this tour from September 16, please consider the source. Those guests were completely unhinged.

Omar was great! We enjoyed the stops to take in the view and do some shopping, all while learning the history of the island. The monkey encounter was such a wonderful experience! It's my fourth time in Barbados and the third time I've stopped to visit the monkey! It's a family favorite.
