Excellent way to see the island in a cool and comfortable van and a chance to meet people from other parts of the world and share in laughter and stories. The food options give a small sampling of the cultural cuisines of the island and the bakery options made the trip worth its price alone. The two hosts were very personable, considerate and tons of fun. They did an awesome job of making us feel like family and making sure all needs were met throughout the day. Would definitely recommend this to others.

This was a nice tour! Shari was a great host/guide with lots of energy. We had good food, drinks, and desserts. I now know where to return to whenever I come back to Barbados.
The only negative was the tiny suv. There were 4 in the group with one person being over 6ft tall and another person having to keep climbing out of the very back.

The tour was fantastic. Shari, our tour guide was professional, knowledgeable and kind. The way the tour was structured was great. Each town we stopped in featured great Bajan food dishes, from appetizers to dessert. We even stopped at a local bakery. Shari, seemed to know many of the locals by first name which added to our experience. We highly recommend Shari should you decide to book this tour.

Highly recommend this tour! We have been on many different food tours, and this one was definitely one of our favorites! First we would recommend, Searnia, our tour guide! Request her!! She was knowledgeable of the history of the areas, and made it fun! She took us to all the hidden gems, with the tastiest foods! We could not have experienced the island and the delicious food, without her! We enjoyed FRESH local dishes, learned about the fruits and veggies grown on the island, while visiting a local market, visited the fish market (it was the cleanest fish market you will likely ever visit), and we of course had a freshly caught fish lunch with all the side fixings! It was interesting to go to the different areas of town, I feel like I really saw the island! We also stopped at a very popular bakery, which didn’t disappoint! (Again, we would never have found this gem on our own!) We also tried locally made ice cream! All the food was delicious, and the history and local experience was incredible!

Tammy and Allen were very attentive, very knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. I enjoyed getting to see a bit of the whole island, as well as the stops along the way. Tammy and Allen were very patient while we shopped and took photos, never once did they rush us. We spent all day with them and they really made it a great day. Highly recommend to anyone wanting experience the great people and food of Barbados. It wasn't a lot of walking, the van had AC, water and rum punch. We ended the tour with full bellies and many great memories. Shout out to Tammy and Allen for being great guides, and driving in some challenging conditions!

The tour began with my husband and I being squeezed into the back 2 seats of a small SUV. Beware if there are more than 3 people on your tour you will be uncomfortable and unable to see much of anything. The tour is not scenic but rather a driving nightmare taking you to the various “towns”. The food is nothing special with one stop just being ice cream you could get anywhere. Way over priced for the actual experience. Very disappointing and left us with a bad Barbados experience.

The food tour was absolutely amazing. Shari was an awesome tour guide for the day. We started the day with a hug and ended it that way too. Shari was so patient and kind. She made sure she provided details on each location we were at to better understand the Barbados culture and each dish we ate. The food stops were magnificent. All of the dishes were so well seasoned.and who knew chicken quesadillas for breakfast should be the norm. Shari even made sure I had a special ice cream treat to celebrate my birthday. I recommend anyone visiting the island to take this tour for the culture and cuisine. And if you are lucky enough to get Shari you will not be disappointed.

Searnia was an exceptional tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Barbados. She was patient with us as we explored and navigated through the various sites of the tour. The true essence of Barbados was exhibited at each site through the freshness of its food culture. Everything we tasted was fresh, all natural, and delicious! However, the ice cream site was our favorite. I truly recommend this tour if you a food-a-holic!

Although the tour lead really tried her best, this tour unfortunately was not worth the money paid for it. Only one true Bajan meal (Oistins); the other 3 spots (quesadillas, ice cream and a bakery) are not really what I would be looking for when I want a Bajan culinary experience. Where are the traditional Bajan dishes that we wouldn't get elsewhere?! Also, the majority of the tour felt like a history walking tour of Barbados; way too much talking and hardly any eating. If I wanted a walking tour, I would've booked that. The guide really kept the energy up but I felt like she was doing too much talking to cover for the fact that there was hardly any food to the tour. Pretty disappointed.

Shari was amaaaazing. 4 stops + a surprise stop all around the island with history throughout in an air conditioned van. Coordination was seamless, as Juliet kept in contact to confirm my pick up location & remind me as the date approached.
There really is no better way to experience Barbados than on a food tour like this. Afterwards Shari dropped us in Bridgetown for some light shopping and left us with some homemade rum punch as a parting gift.

Our guide Shari was fantastic! Highly recommend the entire experience. The food was delicious. The history of the island and the tour while driving through the parishes of Barbados was chock full of knowledge. Excellent tour that I have no problem recommending highly to anyone wanting a taste of the island!

We lucked out and basically got a private tour because the other couple that booked the tour ended up not able to go. Our tour guide Shari was amazing! She knows so much about Barbados and pointed out so many spots for us during the entire trip. We got way more than just good food in 4 different towns, we got to see Bridgetown a bit, Shari stopped by Rihann’s childhood home for us to take a picture, and even stopped by a supermarket for us before dropping us off! She went above and beyond what was expected, and we so appreciated her. Not to outshine the wonderful food that we got to taste, because the food was amazing! We even got pastries to take back with us and enjoyed for a couple of days after. For our first time visiting Barbados, this is a must do! We plan on coming back and will definitely book another tour with Lickrish.
