Driver did not show up. I learned that many roads were washed out so maybe that’s the reason but could not get in touch with the company. Viator also could not get in touch and I still have not received a refund

We booked a tour last minute and it seems like all of the primary drivers were booked, and we had a friend of someone in the company giving us our “tour”. She was very nice and accommodating took us to all of the places we requested however was essentially a taxi service and provided no additional guiding. We didn’t learn anything extra about the island and didn’t do anything that wasn’t at our request. We did other guided tours on the island which were better because they educated us about the island of the history, which we did not get with this Tour. It would’ve been cheaper just to get a taxi for the same service.

Do not book this Company! They gave the tour to somebody else who didn't belong to them. Also they do not provide you with WiFi, soft drinks, rum punch or beer or Snacks. It's just an expensive taxi ride. We complained, but they didn't give a damn to provide us with the things we had booked and paid for. Additionally no partial refund.
Take a normal taxi...

Julian did a great job. He catered the day around our goals, helped us fit everything in, and took us to a great spot for lunch. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see Barbados.

Julian was great! Took us everywhere we requested to go and joined us for lunch at a fantastic restaurant. Make sure you plan out your trip in advance and try to choose things in the same area/ coast, so that you can make the best use of the service. It takes a long time to drive around the island, due to traffic and road conditions. Depending on what you choose to do you may not be able to get everything in that you planned.

Tour was decent, and Jason was friendly enough. However, tour was not what we booked.
Our pickup time was changed from 9:00 to 9:30 with only a Viator notification sent at 7:45 day of. Then Jason didn’t show up until 9:45.
Several of the attractions we wanted to see were closed on Monday (?). Not Jason’s fault, but still frustrating, especially since we didn’t find out until we arrived.
Jason was friendly and nice enough, but not overly informative. This was our first trip to Barbados and we wanted the islands History, etc. He tried, but it was obvious he didn’t know a lot of details. He answered questions, but rarely volunteered much additional information.
Tour was supposed to include drinks, snack, and WiFi. None of these were available/offered.

I read through all of the reviews before I booked this, and I was hoping that the earlier reviews were the most accurate, but we found that the newer reviews were more in alignment with our experience. Julian was very nice, and we did see a couple of beaches and drove through the city, but we really felt like we paid a lot of money for a glorified taxi service. He showed up late, even after I confirmed the time the day before. He was on his phone, either calling or texting for much of the time. I understand that people may need to make calls, but he had an hour to do that when we were at the caves. It was at the point where I felt bad trying to ask a question, because he was on the phone. He stopped at a gas station to pick up water or pop, but we told him not to bother, as that would take more time away. But, I feel like when you advertise those things, they should already be in the car. My husband wanted to go to the distillery, and Julian didn’t know it was closed, until we got there. Our friends got tours and cabs for $25 a person, and I think they did more than we did. For the amount of time we had with this tour, I really feel like much of it was wasted. I went back and forth about writing this review, because he really is a nice guy, and I think he could be a great tour guide, but there are definitely things that need improvement, and it definitely was not worth what we paid, by any means.

And stopped at several of the beaches, then he joined us for lunch at a local Bajan restaurant. We would love to see the company purchase a new vehicle for him! With the poor quality of roads, we had a slight worry that his car would leave us stranded! lol.

Unfortunately the tour was spoilt by a complete lack of organisation. Months ago, as requested by the advert, we selected 5 of the possible 24 places to visit and we organised to be picked up at our hotel at 9.30 am. At 8.50am I got a call to saying that we needed to be picked up at 9.00 am or we would miss our first appointment (Harrison’s Cave Tour). We rushed to get ready at the pick up point by 9.10 am, but no tour guide, he eventually arrived at 9.40! Then it was quite clear that our tour guide hadn’t a clue where we were going (other than Harrison’s Cave). Once we had informed him where we were going he said that we couldn’t go to the Mount Gay Rum Distillery Tour because it would take too long and in any case it hadn’t been booked. He did try to to rectify the situation, but in trying he forced us to spend a ridiculously short time at St Nicholas Abbey (we managed to see two rooms and none of the grounds) and then didn’t manage to get us into the Mount Gay tour anyhow! His boss did eventually get us into another distillery tour (which was very good) but by then the damage was done. Finally, the advert says that soft drinks, beers and rum punch are available in the car/van and are included in the price. In reality there were none. We asked the tour guide for a small bottle of water once, which he got us, but there was nothing else offered across the 9 hours of the tour! Two stars may be generous!

Bathsheba Beach and Dinas restaurant.
The ride was nice seeing pretty much how the Island of Barbados lives.
We saw wild monkeys and iguanas along the way.

The tour fell well short of our expectations and was disappointing. It was basically a taxi service. The car wasn't clean and dashboard warning light was on the entire journey. No water, drinks or snacks of any kind were offered despite included in the tour description. Definitely poor value for the cost.

Pick up was half an hour late. I had to reach out to the company to find out why they were late and again to see where the driver was.
Pierre talked us out of going to Harrison’s cave, and took us to Animal Flower cave instead. It was ok.
We wanted to go to St Nicholas Abbey, but it was closed on Saturdays. It seems a local guide should know that.
Stopped at Bathsheba for a short walk. Lunch at a local spot where the owner was grumpy.
Drove through other areas with no stops. Would not recommend.

Each in their own way was spectacular but if I had to chose,the views on the Atlantic side with the waves smashing onto the golden sands was amazing.Our guide Julian certainly made our day special.He was knowledgeable but had an amazing sense of humour so we had so many laughs as we toured the island with him.The day just went but Julian was so good at making sure we saw the best of the island in the 7 hours we had with him.If you are fortunate enough to be able to do a full day tour make sure you do it with Julian.What a star 😇😇😇Charles, Julia &Edward

Alpheus was very accommodating and make sure that he was there to fit in everything that we needed to see for the duration of the tour with the agreement to pick 5 out of 24 suggested point of interest in the 6 hour period ( 9am-3pm). There was some pre-planning checklist needed to be done . We arrived for an awaited lunch to El Cabane restaurant but it was closed for the day. Shopping must be firm and restricted otherwise it cuts down time to see other point of interest or leave it at the end of the tour. We did not make it to the Rum distillery but the Rum tasting tour at the Harrison’s cave was just as informative and sufficient. We were tight with time that they were kind enough to plan and let us join in the cave tram group on the video session and we still managed to jump on the cave tour. Alpheus grab us sandwiches for lunch while in the rum tasting tour since we missed the restaurant. We attempted to drive to Cherry Hill for a Mountain View of Barbados but two roads were closed and could not mark it there. Btw, the vehicle can use some scent freshening, I swear a pet dog has been riding it . Overall, Alpheus did a great job as a newbie tour guide and can use some more working knowledge of Barbados.

Julian Phillips was the best tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the island & gave a personal tour of 8 sites in an 8 hour period! Very pleasant & patient gentleman! Well worth the money!

Our guide was absolutely fabulous. Knowledgeable friendly and personable. He not only showed us everything we had in our list of must see - he showed us the entire island with all the historical sites and some great hidden out of the way gems. Definitely a must do experience

Our goal was to explore the entire Island from north, south, east and west. And we certainly dis. Harrison caves Holetown, Animal Flower caves, Bathsheba and Shark hole. Our guide was great. Had a great Bajun lunch and a wonderful day.
