Get an early start on the day with 3:30am pickup at your centrally-located Aswan hotel, then take advantage of the 3.5-hour drive to take a nap on your way to Abu Simbel in an air-conditioned minivan. If desired, you can order a breakfast box from your hotel, so you can eat in the minivan, arriving at Abu Simbel ready to explore.

When you reach Abu Simbel, visit the temples with a private, Egyptologist guide, who will share a bit of ancient Egyptian history as you take in the site’s highlights, from the colossal statues of Ramses II to hieroglyphics with breathtaking detail.

In addition to visiting Abu Simbel, you’ll have time onsite to shop, purchase snacks, and snap photos of the dramatic setting before beginning the return trip to Aswan, spending a total of three hours at Abu Simbel. This tour concludes with drop-off at your Aswan hotel at roughly 1:30pm.
