Ahmed (+20 11 04829758) was our driver for the 3 1/2 hour drive each way. He knows the roads very well and was a reliable driver. He was punctual and went out of his way to make us feel safe.

I had booked and confirmed this trip with the tour operator, Marawan, well ahead of time. Yet, on the day, we could not find the driver. The operator asked us to look for a grey car! But since this was a public park and there were lots of cars parked there, I asked him to let the driver come to us and identify himself.
The driver came and he was in a small old sedan car. This made the 3.5 hour trip very uncomfortable. The trip was to include a private tour guide, snacks and bottled water and entrance fees. None of it was prepared; when we arrived at the temple, the driver dropped us off and asked how much time we need!
When I explained to the driver that there should be a guide waiting for us, he called Marawan and I spoke to him. He said, yes, don't worry, the guide is already there and waiting for you. The driver apologised and said that he had no prior knowledge as he doesn't work for the company, but his brother did and they only called him last minute to cover!
The guide then called and also said that he was not aware and in fact he was at home and not onsite and would need 20 minutes to come to us and was also called last minute. He made up for it during the tour though and that's why I'm not giving it a 1 star. Thank you Hany for saving the day.

We just had an amazing tour to Abu Simbel from Aswan. We booked a private tour as the group tours start at 4 AM which is too early after a tiring day. The ride was comfortable and driver was polite.
We met our charming tour guide Mr. Hany at Abu simbel. To be quite frank his warm nature and humorous style will put even the most reserved introverts at ease. Another thing to know about Hany is that he is an accomplished photographer. He took numerous photos and videos for us and the results were amazing. He also would provide detailed information before hand and give us free time to explore the temples at our own pace.
Another aspect I love about this tour guide is he didn’t coerce us to make unnecessary purchases ( which is usually a huge issue in Cairo and Luxor ).
So fellow traveler if you are on the fence, please go ahead and book this tour. And enjoy the experience.
PS Just realized I forgot the mention , both temples and amazing and must see.

This was a great, targeted tour. The airport pick up was a little bumpy, but communication was great to correct. Then after a long drive where the driver provided snacks and ice cold water, we picked up the guide near Abu Simbel and visited the sight. It was an amazing sight to see, highly recommend. Guides cannot come inside, so they explain everything outside to you then you have free time to roam inside. Guards also offer to take some pretty amazing photos of you, they know the right angles.
Overall will recommend this company for the trip from Aswan to Abu Simbel and back.

The trip to Abu Simbel was comfortable and relatively quick, thanks to our driver who kept a good pace, with a short stop halfway. Along the way, we were offered two bottles of water, which was a very nice touch.
We left around 8:15 AM and arrived around 11:45 AM, finding very few people at the site — a real bonus that made the visit even more enjoyable!
We spent about 2/3 hours at Abu Simbel: an absolutely stunning place that is definitely worth the trip.
Our Italian-speaking guide was excellent and very detailed: she explained the history of the temples using photos to help us better understand the site from the outside, and then gave us plenty of free time to explore on our own.
The only downside was that, although the airport was on the way back, when we asked to be dropped off there, they charged us an additional $20, which we felt was a bit excessive.

The driver was amazing. The tour at Abu Simbel was good.
However, we booked a Russian speaking guide; only in the evening before the tour we were told that there is no Russian speaking guide but only an English speaking one. „You may cancel if you do not like it“, we were told; as if we could find another guide at 10pm for early next morning, which they knew exactly.
This was, in the end, simply blackmailing, as they waited to inform us until the evening, so we would have lost that day if we had not agreed to go with the English speaking guide.
Not very nice to do that.

We recently had this private transfer service from Aswan to Luxor, and we were very happy with the experience. The booking process was straightforward, and communication with the team was great.
The vehicle was spacious and clean, and the driver was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the route. The overall experience was good from the drive to the tour guide that we met in Abu Simbel. Important to note that guides are not allowed inside of the temple so the explanation is given outside with pictures, you could potentially only go with the transfer and read about the details in advance of the visit

Very wonderful experience! Our driver was great, he did stop for us to take lunch and was concerned with our well-being. He was very nice. The guide at Abu Simbel was great. I would like to emphasize that the way they do the explanation, showing us pictures outside the temple, is just great. We have the time to explore the temples in our own time. If we have any questions after seeing the temple, the guide will explain them to us. This method of guidance is great.

Dangerous Driver of a comfy but very high mileage car drives 6h in the desert at 150 kph without seat belt and using his phone most of the time. Did not stop on rest point on the way back and dropped us at a closed down mcdonald's. I'd recommend using a shared bus instead.

We got the confirmation and details on this tour as soon we finished the booking. We were picked up early around 5.30am from our hotel (we insisted on this time as we were on time crunch, otherwise we would have started bit late). Our driver Hisham was feeling bit sleepy while driving. We noticed and started to engage him into conversation and it was all good later. We were received in Abu Simbel by our tour guide, Honey. He was so full of life and explained every bit of Abu Simbel and the significance of temple. He even gave us enough time to get around and take photos, he took our photos too.
Abh Simbel has become our favourite memory to recall as we are back to our country now. Thanks to this tour and tour team for making this tour a good one.

We loved our daytour to Abu Simpel. We went for the option to get only a private ride to Abu Simpel from Aswan, without a guide. The tour operator was very professional. Beforehand it was easy to keep in contact with Whatsapp, and the drivers were right on time to pick us up. They got us very quickly to Abu Simpel, and back. We spend much more time at Abu Simpel then the average tourist (probably around 4 hours), but they patiently kept waiting for us. We even got some free snacks, which was very considerate. Would definitely recommend!
Tip: if you book a private tour, make sure you will leave Aswan somewhere between 7-8. That way you arrive just when all the big tourist buses will depart again (since they even leave at 4 from Aswan)

We used the driver only option and this was great for us. The driver was on time and drove quickly but safely. I’d highly recommend this service. The communication beforehand was good and reassured me the driver would be on his way. By taking the private driver we could start later in the day, this meant less time waiting in checkpoints and Abu Simbel was a lot less crowded since the tour groups had left.

We were a couple and chose the car-only tour from Aswan to Abu Simbel. We were charged 20€ more for pick-up at Asuan Airport (which is closest to Abu Simbel).
The driver was friendly and punctual, the car was clean and spotless, and we made two stops for coffee and water, which is appreciated.

Visita que no te puedes perder, pero el trayecto hasta Abu Simbel es complejo. + de 200 Km a 140 Km/h... puede resultarte estresante.
La agencia incluye 2 conductores, el motivo es que la carretera es una gran recta donde la posibilidad de quedarse dormido es alta, por lo que la ida la hace un conductor y la vuelta otro.
Dentro del complejo el guia en Castellano lo hace muy bien y la visita es excepcional.
El único pero, la velocidad del trayecto. Si haces el cálculo del tiempo que se gana a 140 km, respecto a 110-120 km, no merece la pena el riesgo que se corre.

Genial, nos recogió un chofer en coche privado. No hablaba español pero si un poco inglés lo q fue suficiente para entendernos. El viaje muy bueno, nos llevó agua, paramos a mitad de camino para un café. Al llegar nos esperaba el guia, nos explicó todo bien, a la salida nos indico todo y nuestro coche estaba allí, nos compró unos aperitivos y unos zumos. Le pedimos q fuera más rápido y sin pararse pues teníamos prisa y nos llevó de vuelta perfectos. Si no quieres pegarte el madrugón y ver Abu Simbel sin gente, este es tu viaje. Merece mucho la pena hacerlo así por ahorro de tiempo y llevar un horario más normal q el de los autobuses.
