Cesarina Eleonora was fabulous. She is so skilled in making pasta. I’m really glad I took the class. She was so patience and she was hands on, showing me how to do a step correct. There was only 2 participants in the session that I took so it was almost like a private class. After taking the class, I have the confidence to try making pasta at home. You won’t regret taking this class.

This experience is not as advertised. We arrived on time to the location provided on the ticket and in Viator and was sent a message that the location was different. The ticket is different to the experience advertised, on Viator and different to the photos that are advertised. The ticket says spend a day on a local farm, exploring olive groves, meeting aninmals and tasting organics products. Nothing on the ticket says cooking pasta and would not have booked if it was going to be on a farm with animals. Either the company or Viator needs to correct advertised experience.

We had a great time with Eleanor, the chef/teacher. She showed us how to make three different types of pasta and a quick delicious sauce. We ate it with a glass of wine and a cheese platter from the shop over the road - also friendly and no hard sell, just enjoy our produce and buy some if you want. Just be careful to leave enough time for parking if you are driving. We found a park outside the old city and then walked for around 15 minutes - easy if you know! So glad we signed up for this - and then wandered around Assisi and saw the amazing basilica. Well worth it. Enjoy!!!

We started the experience with a tasing of the local wine, olive oil, and cheese which was a nice added bonus. It was an amazing experience hands on experience making pasta. There was only 2 of us to make it personally rewarding.

My wife and I had an excellent time learning how to make authentic pasta and tiramisu with Eleanora in Assisi! Despite a bit of a language barrier, she was a thorough and patient teacher, and we had a lot of fun with her. It ended up just being the two of us who signed up, so it was a very intimate experience. A word of caution, however - just make sure you check in with your host about expectations and dietary preferences before you arrive. We interpreted "food allergies" too strictly and did not write that my wife is a vegetarian, and so she was unable to eat the pre-prepared ravioli stuffing. Eleanora told us that if she had known, she would have just made a cheese filling instead of meat. That was totally on us. The other mix-up was that there seemed to be a miscommunication between Viator and whatever system Eleanora was using. The description for the class I signed up for explicitly said "pasta AND tiramisu" class, but Eleanora's description only said pasta. She was confused, but she wanted us to be happy, so she scrambled and was able to cobble together a delicious tiramisu for us to take back to our hotel for later. We even got to taken some of our pasta home with us!

If you really want to learn how to make pasta, Eleanora is the teacher for you! She demonstrates, then helps each student with their technique. Very informative and fun to learn a new skill. She cooks some of what you made, then you take some “home” to cook later. This is not a full meal, but at the end of class it is very satisfying to taste what you made, while enjoying a glass of wine!

We had a great time learning to make pasta the right way! We had all made pasta before, but we all learned useful tips about how to roll and cut the dough. Eleonora was very encouraging but not afraid to correct us when we weren’t using proper technique. We even made a new friend who had taken a sauce making class in the morning. We all ate her yummy sauce on our freshly made noodles. And before we started the nice man from across the street took us into his shop to taste wine and area delicacies. A perfect adventure.

Eleanor’s was fantastic and so attentive. You could tell she was compassionate about pasta making! She was patient and very informative. The pasta we made together was delicious! I would strongly recommend this class against the back drop of Assisi!

Beware - they booked us 11 KM away when they had the exact class (through Cistine, the same partner) 5 min walk from our hotel. We found it by accident. When you have a class where alcohol (wine) is provided, you should be sensitive to location. My booking specifically asked for someone close to our hotel.

The cooking class started with a surprise wine tasting across the street, which was lovely. Then we switched to tagliatelle, ravioli, and tortellini with Cesarine. She was a wonderful teacher and host. We learned useful techniques from her for our future homemade pasta meals. Our two year old son became instantly friends with her.

This was a wonderful experience! Eleanora, our chef, sent us across the street where Francesco served us antipasti of cheeses, meats, bread and wine. Eleanora taught us to make one pizza dough which could be turned into three pastas-fettuccine, ravioli and tortellini. Along with a delicious ragu and spinach and ricotta filling, we made and ate spinach & ricotta ravioli. We also got to take our fettuccine home! Eleanora had patience for both my husband and me, since we were the only ones in the class! I’d highly recommend this class for learning about pasta making and eating a delicious meal!

Our chef and teacher Eleanor is delightful and knows her way around all things pasta. She put us at ease with her patience and humor as we clumsily worked the dough. Amazingly we ended up with a fine ravioli dinner as well as hand cut noodles for later. Loved the trick in cutting the noodles. A great experience to add to our sibling vacation.
