- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements
- Please notice: on Sundays, big Catholic holidays and National holidays, guided tours inside the Basilica of St. Francis ar forbidden. You guide will explain to you the church from outside, and you will enter alone on silence.
- Due to the exposition of the remains of St. Francis, guided tours of the basilica will be suspended from February 15, 2026, to April 6, 2026. The guide will provide an explanation from outside, and then visitors will be able to enter on their own.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

We did a private tour and it was great!
Our guide was full of information, it was personal enough that we did not have to wear headsets and he allowed us to go at our own pace!

Marica, our guide, was amazing, extremely knowledgable, like a history book. She was patient and thorough!! Her english was perfect. My 12 and 10 years old kids understood her and learned alot from her details. The taxi ride to Sta Maria de Angeli was smooth and easy.
