This was a genuinely awful and unsafe experience. Our instructor, Jesus, gave instructions that were vague and impossible to actually follow, which is unacceptable when you're putting first-time riders on horses.
Once we were on the trail, he barely paid attention to anyone. He was too busy chatting with the experienced riders to notice beginners struggling. My horse kept wanting to go faster than I was comfortable with, and I was pulling back on the reins exactly as instructed, but the horse wouldn't stop. It terrified me. The instructor never noticed or seemed to care. Every time something went wrong, he'd just shout something incomprehensible and go right back to his conversation. Useless.
I never felt safe for a second. It took an infuriatingly long time for anyone to even notice I was struggling. Instead of calming me down or taking me off the horse like any responsible instructor would, I got yelling and attitude, and my horse was spun around fast to catch up to the group while I sat there terrified. Meanwhile, part of the group was allowed to gallop even though most of us clearly hadn't been given anywhere near enough instruction for that level of riding.
This company put people who had never ridden before in a genuinely dangerous situation and did not care. Do not waste your money or risk your safety here.

We were genuinely sorry to hear that you found the experience unsafe. We take any concern regarding guest safety seriously, particularly when it involves a first-time rider.
First of all, we had two guides accompanying the group, which also included experienced riders. Our guides provide safety instructions before the ride, match horses according to each rider's experience level, and monitor the group throughout the tour.
For the first hour of the tour you were scared but the horse and the ride was going fine. When your horse picked up pace you really got frightened, and the guide provided assistance, including taking hold of the horse's lead rope and helping you manage your horse all the way back to the ranch.
If you do not want to continue the ride, it is always an option to tell the guides to stop and help you off the horse.
Our horses are carefully trained and accustomed to carrying riders with different levels of experience. However, as with any horseback riding experience, horses remain animals and require active communication and instruction from the rider and the guide. We're sorry that he did not communicate effectively.
Second, the other riders in the group were experienced riders who wanted to go at a faster pace. Any trotting or cantering is conducted according to the riders' experience and comfort level, while beginners and guests who are not comfortable at a faster pace remain at a walk.
We are sorry that you felt unsafe during your experience. At the same time, we want future guests to understand that horseback riding is an interactive activity that requires communication between the rider, the horse, and the guide. Always communicate with your guide how you are feeling during the tour, especially if you are feeling too frightened to continue.

This was by far the best ride I’ve taken in a long time! The horses were well trained the guides were great and well experienced. Chris and the guy that was in charge (sorry forgot his name) but his horse was “captain” both awesome riders. Highly recommend for anyone that loves horses!!!
It was an awesome experience. The tour guides, Jesus and Bella, were very nice and took many beautiful pictures for us. The horses are beautiful and well trained. We had an amazing time and definitely will do it again in the future. You may want to wear some type of glasses because it can get very dusty. The organizer was very good about well being of others and for their safety, and transportation.
The staff was very experienced. Felt totally safe. Matched horse with experience of rider. Would definitely book again.

This was a beautiful and marvelous excursion! Just make sure you wear closed toed shoes and are covered up as it is a very bumpy ride besides that it’s a an amazing excursion!
We had an amazing horseback riding experience in Aruba today! The staff was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable from start to finish. The horses were wonderful, the scenery was beautiful, and the whole ride was unforgettable. Thank you so much for such a great experience! Horse ride was 1-2 hours but it was a fun experience. It was my first time riding a horse and this company made me comfortable enough to ride it . The scenes was beautiful!
10/10 experience! This was our favorite excursion during our trip to Aruba. The guides were super friendly, made us feel safe the entire ride, and took awesome photos so we could just enjoy the moment. The horses were very well-taken care of and well-trained. This is a must do and I would recommend to anyone!
It was a wonderful experience! We had the cactus and the water on either side! It ended up being just my boyfriend & I with the 2 guides for 1 1:2 tour . The horses were beautiful!

Beautiful way to see the North coast with fun tour guides. The guides make sure to get individual and group pictures for you and have a bit of fun with having the horses go fast. There are really two main stops and you stay in the horses the whole time, not getting off to explore at all.

If you want to see the desert meets beautiful ocean in Aruba then this is your tour. Wear pants if possible and put on sunscreen. Horses are very gentle and it was a good experience. The guides were great and made sure everyone was okay.

Beautiful horses on a beautiful terrain trail ride! They also got the horses moving a little faster at different times too! Staff was energetic and friendly. Lots of opportunities to take photos. They took pictures with our own phones so they didn’t try to sell any photos at the end.
The experience was really great, the guy, CJ, who was leading us was also very friendly. He took pictures for us by every stop. Make sure you wear long trousers or jeans to feel more comfortable. The horses are very well trained, I had Victoria as my horse. Even though I’ve never had rode a horse, it wasn’t scary for me. The horses are very calm and friendly. Overall the was very great.

I’m 60 years old. This was the first time I had ever ridden a horse. I had a great time. The instructors/guides were great.
Wonderful experience, I had amazing guides that made me feel comfortable being on horse although it was my first time.
I was really impressed by the quality of the horses here. Very well trained and healthy. The ride is for every level of rider. There were 4 of us and one was a woman who had never been on a horse. I have been riding over 20 years and we all had a great time. The best places to see and they took many nice pictures. The guides were very friendly and made sure everyone had a good, safe time.

So much fun and saw so much of the island that would have not been seen otherwise. They took pictures in amazing places but I wish we had a family picture on horseback by the beach instead of individuals but still amazing to have any kind of picture. Such a fun experience!
This was a great short excursion. The staff took excellent care of us, stopped along the way used our phones to take pictures. Make sure we had water was very friendly and professional flying halfway across the world to ride horses on the beach is an awesome experience. Highly recommended.
