- A minimum of 1 person per booking is required
- Minimum age is 3 years. younger allowed if parent is comfortable riding with child on lap.
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Refunds will not be issued if tour/activity is missed due to late or non-arrival of cruise ship
- At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
- Please note: No galloping is allowed
- Maximum weight 200 LBS per person
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems

- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Most travelers can participate
- Pick up time is between 45 minutes and 20 minutes prior to tour departure time. Please call or e-mail to confirm your pick up time and location
- The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability
- Please call to confirm your pickup time or arrival time if you have your own transportation. This can vary by season
- Refunds will not be issued if tour / activity is missed due to late arrival at the ranch or pick up location or NO-SHOW

I had so much fun! I have never rode a horse before but after this I feel like a professional. It was so exciting and safe. I would recommend everyone try horseback riding with Rancho Notorious. The horses are so happy and loved. I want to come back and do this excursion again. Can’t wait to come back to Aruba and visit.

It was very interesting the trail was top tier not boring at all and the horses were well trained and followed each other you really didn't even have to hold on I was told the horse I was on likes to trot that was helpful

I’m sorry, I’m better with faces and bad with names. But shout to my guy who gave us the shuttle taxi ride, it was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for the tips of advice and for answering all my questions about the island. Another big shoutout goes to the OG cowboy who lead the tour with our beautiful horses. It was hot, it was beautiful and what an experience to remember. 🙏🏽

The horses were not well cared for and the hidden lagoon is a complete joke. The guide did not speak english and was very rough with the horses. No drinking water or helmet available to us.

It was definitely an experience with horses. I didn’t realize they have there own personalities. Max the driver that picked me up was a great personality. Very informative. Our guide on the range was nice. My horses name was John and he was a little tired. I guess he wanted to stop. But the guide had us tools to get the horses to move.

We were picked up on time at our hotel. Our driver was friendly and courteous. Our guide was professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our horses, Victoria and Jenifer were well trained and provided an excellent ride.

There were ZERO memorable moments. The driver didn’t call to say he was outside. He sent an email. Who looks at email when getting ready for horse back riding. I was refuse a refund then I requested to go the next morning and wax also not allowed. Everyone will hear about this HORRIFIC, NON friendly customer service from Viator. So so so frigin disappointed with this!!! The driver pulled off 1 minute before we got to lobby. The customers. Service representatives at hotel tried to call him/her but that person refused to answer the phone. A living jerk! I wil NEVER booked anything thru Viator again nor will my 16 other folks that want to come here!!!!!

I loved traveling through the (Canucu) country side of beautiful cacti and stopping bat Ocean for great pictures! Nelson was a great guide always watching about our safety. Felt very special since just me and my family on the tour. Someone mentioned Barbaro as being a bad horse, but that was not so . All the horses were gentle , and very well behaved and cooperative. Great job Rancho Notorious! And they pick you up, and return us to our hotel ! Saw a different house tour ,and those horses seemed non-cooperative. Make the safe and sure bet with Rancho Notorious!

We enjoyed this tour in early May and as hot as the day was, we loved every minute of it. I've never taken a horseback riding tour through the desert to a lagoon. Highly recommend this tour to everyone! "Trot" - Don't walk - to book these guys.

The start time was changed less than 12 hours beforehand so we missed our appointed trip. They rescheduled us for later in the day, but it really messed with our itinerary for the day. The ride itself was good. Nothing extraordinary but it was a horseback ride through the dessert to a beach, so it accomplished what was intended.

My daughter and I had a wonderful horseback riding experience! Our driver picked us up from the hotel. He was friendly and courteous. Our horseback riding guide was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel very comfortable. We ride to the water, which was incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!

This is a perfect way to spend 90 minutes if you enjoy beating an old horse with a big stick the entire time. They told us at the beginning that it was the only way to get the horse to move, and they were correct. I have much better ways to spend my time in Aruba.

Hi Rob, sorry to hear that's what you took away from riding Barbaro! We can confirm he's quite young and very spoiled as he was born on the ranch. Your efforts to get him moving weren't enough to keep at the pace of the tour, as you saw he continued snacking. The twig the guide had to give you to tap his butt was to ensure you didn't ruin the experience for all who wanted to reach the destination! Cowboys used spurs to kick at the ribs so a dried-up twig through the Carribean desert is a much nicer way to ensure your horse kept moving along the trail :)

Our excursion was wonderful right from the time our guide picked us up at our resort. He was friendly, extremely helpful and clearly enjoys what he does. The horses were well kept and perfect for our trail ride. The scenery was beautiful and the lagoon made for great pictures. Highly recommend!

Wonderfully unique and serene horseback riding experience in Aruba. Our guide was kind enough to wait for us and picked horses suitable based on our riding experience. The trail through the desert was so peaceful and natural, far stretch from the typical tourist attractions. We will definitely remember this excursion!

Max the guide was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the views of the cacti and rocks and trails and sea. I tasted a strawberry like cactus melon fruit. My horse was Jesse James and was a slow and mellow ride, which I enjoyed.

Max was the driver and our guide for this excursion. He was so welcoming, friendly, and personable with both my husband and me and our teen and 7 year old daughters. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure everyone understood the safety aspects of this experience. It was very hot but the scenery was beautiful, and it was very quiet and serene. Max promptly drive us back to our resort. The ranch was nostalgic. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get out a bit and see a different side of Aruba!

Nestor was fabulous!! He was personable and talkative on the drive to the ranch and he was very good with picking the perfect hordes for the riders based on skill and demeanor. The ride was just the right length and the scenery was spectacular! Nestor also took some great pictures for our group.
This experience is one of my top 3 favorite things we have done in Aruba!

No other way to describe this other than perfect for me and my family. We are inexperienced but wanted to ride. The guide was excellent, experienced, professional, friendly and extra kind. I didn’t think my grandson would ride but our guide assured him and kept him safe. He went the extra mile for us. The horses were cool too! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

The horseback riding was peaceful. There was a lot of beautiful scenery and the horses are very friendly and chill. The guides were very friendly as well. I loved the whole experience.
