We had an absolutely incredible horseback riding experience with Gold Mine Ranch Tours! Riding through the beautiful Aruba landscape was unforgettable—rugged desert terrain, sweeping views, and scenery you just can’t experience any other way.
The staff were warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about the horses and the island. They made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe while still keeping the experience fun and relaxed.
A special highlight was Rosa, the sweetest dog who happily accompanied us along the trail. She added so much charm and joy to the ride and quickly became everyone’s favorite trail companion.

I highly recommend this company. It was very easy to find, and the trail ride went through the desert out onto the ocean, where we were able to take the horses into the water, which was the best part.

This was excellent horseback experience! They provided hotel pickup which was appreciated. We had 2 guides which were helpful and they were very attentive. The horses were well taken care of and well behaved. The adventure took us by along the coast and through some winding trails which was beautiful. Go in the morning before it gets too hot. Well worth doing!

This was one of the best horseback riding experiences I have ever been on. Jeanrick and Candy did a fabulous job. The scenery was breathtaking and we got so many pictures. One thing you need to know is if you wanna wear a hat it has to have a chinstrap. We did not get to ride our horses in the water, as the pictures showed, which was disappointing but this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

This is what you call paradise. Wow what an experience. Riding horses along the coastline and un and down the rugged terrain is such an experience that everyone should do. We had such an amazing time . The horses are well taking care of. The staff was very helpful. Will definitely do it again

So we were blessed with being the only 2 people on our tour and we were on our honeymoon. The horse ranch sent a shuttle to our hotel (Tarmijin) and made the whole experience stress free. Our driver was fantastic, giving us insight into our surroundings. We loved that he pointed out where he went to school and was so friendly. At the ranch, it was awesome. There are lockers on site and the horses were beautiful! My wife has experience and I had none. I quickly felt comfortable and the guide ensured I was safe and that I could ride the horse. He would circle around in the beginning and give small tips to make my experience better. You ride to the old mine, a natural bridge, walk in the ocean, and then up a large hill in an area thick with cactus, and the guide takes your phone to take pictures along the way. My wife and I have a great picture of us kissing on the horse while the horses are standing in the water. The guide would direct you and the horse to ensure a great picture. The guide pointed out owls and most adorable, the ranch dog Rosa, follows along, keeping her distance, but wagging her tail the whole time. My wife was thrilled that the guide allowed you to gallop and allowed us to ride at a pace we wanted or were comfortable with. After, we were again provided a shuttle to our hotel. We cannot recommend enough! Our friend is going in a month to use the same company after our trip. Novice or experienced, the horses are so well trained, you will enjoy it at whatever your skill level is.

Healthy horses (Paso Finos who do well in the heat and have smooth gaits for new riders) in good condition who behaved perfectly. Very skillful guides. I was prepared to not go on this riding adventure if the horses appeared at all unhealthy or mistreated as I am an animal lover & horse owner. I enjoyed every minute!

Best excursion to book in Aruba! It was our first time ever riding a horse and the guides made it so easy, safe, and fun! Their demo gives you all the tips and safety info you need to have for an enjoyable ride. They even took pictures of all the guests at each site, which we appreciated. We had the best time, thank you for a memorable experience!

Trail riding the way it should be! My husband and I have very different backgrounds with horseback riding. This was his first time ever and I’ve ridden a collective of 10 years at least. The horses at the Gold Mine Ranch are exceptionally trained for trail rides. They are listening to both you as the rider and the commands the guides are giving through whistles. Most trail rides I’ve been on in the states primarily focused on walking and MAYBE trotting; the horses on those trail rides tended to be more stubborn and food driven like the typical horses you’d be riding during lessons. Not the Gold Mine Ranch horses! Pegaso and Turbo were flawless for both my husband and me. A lot of the trail ride was spent trotting. There were a handful of times we even got to gallop! I was surprised they had my husband gallop since it was his first time riding, but he held his own and remembered my tips (sink your weight into your heels, keep your core tight and keep your heels, hips and head in alignment). I believe the riders that needed a bit more experience were kept back by the other guide and then caught up to us when Jesus, our lead guide, stopped to make sure we were all doing ok after a stretch of galloping. The saddles were really comfortable too. I was hoping my husband would enjoy riding and he did! We’ll be back next year and hope to be riding Pegaso and Turbo again!!!! Also loved that the ranch offers free transportation to/from our hotel. Thank you Gold Mine Ranch!!!

Staff was funny, friendly and nice. I was surprised at how well the horses navigated the rocky cacti terrain. They are all extremely well trained and the ride along the coastline was so peaceful and beautiful.
