- As a coral island, our beach can be rocky. Water shoes are recommended or you can purchase one at our Coconut Giftshop
- Food and Beverage: there is a premium bar as well as Balashi beer. The food menu is different every day and the snack bar has chicken nuggets, french fries, hamburgers and hot dogs.
- Cabanas for rent are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- It is recommended that you bring a towel and reef safe sunscreen.
- You must be 8 years or older to participate in the optional SeaTrek® or SNUBA® activities.
- Our Chilean and Cuban flamingos can be admired from a distance with a standard ticket. To mingle with them you must upgrade to one of our premium sections.
- Children 2 years and younger enter complimentary.
- Caution: Please ensure you read all island poster rules. Pregnant women and individuals with heart conditions or back problems should not ride the Banana Boat or using the Waterslides.
- For the Upgrade Activities; SeaTrek® or SNUBA® activities, a doctor’s letter of release is required if you or someone in your party has any of the following conditions: pregnancy, recent surgery, high blood pressure, epilepsy, seizures, and asthma.
- It is a safety requirement that you do not snorkel or scuba dive the same day that you fly; please schedule your snorkel adventure accordingly.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Definitely recommend!!!! Everything was everything. If you want to be where the flamingos are you have to pay for premium seating. But everything was worth the price 100%

Took 2 teenagers they enjoyed the activities. A nice splashpark/ wildlife for younger kids. The food was surprisingly tasty and plentiful enjoyed the beer and frozen drinks at the bar but not the cocktails. If you are an adult I would recommend spending the money on something else. The beach area was small and rocky.

We had a wonderful time. We tried everything they had to offer. My child is 5 years old and was able to reach the big boy water slide. He spent most of his time in the small area. He loved the flamingos, swam in the ocean and ate all the fries he could ever want. 10/10

I went for my Birthday and it was a great experience. The Flamingos and turtles were too cool nice added touch. The buffet food could have been better but the food at the bar was great I enjoyed the burgers and de palm fries!! My children had a blast they went on all the slides even the body drop one!!! The beach was a bit rocky but other than that Id give palm island two thumbs up. We got lost trying to find the ferry terminal so please give yourself more than enough time to get there, so you can catch the very first ferry over to the island. Thank Viator!!!

My husband and I visited on March 22, 2026. We are beginner snorkelers and not strong swimmers. This was perfect for us! You snorkel from the beach and you can see beautiful fish in water that’s not over your head. The included buffet wasn’t great.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip, offering crystal-clear turquoise waters and pristine, soft sand. The staff was friendly and professional. You could snorkel, ride the banana boat however many times you wanted, soak up sun on the beach, complete the water obstacle course until as many times as your heart desired. It was all inclusive with food and drink and we all enjoyed. This experience exceeded all of our expectation. My family and I highly recommended and would do it again!

We kept asking for a shuttle like the tour said we would get. We kept getting told we had to take a taxi. It cost us $70 round trip because we kept getting misinformed intentionally. It was not only us this happened to.

We had a wonderful experience; the ferry was a nice ride. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our time at the private beach with the up close flamingo experience. We also liked the water park time with our 1 year old daughter- she seemed happier there than at all the beaches we visited. I highly recommend the private beach with VIP palapa if you want a special experience and can afford it.

We had such an amazing time at the beach! The water was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming. The excursions were a lot of fun and really made the experience even better. I would absolutely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

It was ok. Everyone that worked there was very nice. Just not a lot to do there. My 10-year-old was bored after two hours. The food is mediocre. We ended up leaving early. We were very happy to know that the boat goes back-and-forth so we could go back to our hotel. Honestly, it's overpriced and it's a tourist trap.

What a wonderful way to spend a day.
We did splurge and get the private cabana, which was well worth it. Being among the flamingos, seeing the beautiful fish while snorkeling and soaking up the sun was just wonderful. And the slides are not just for kids. So much fun!!!

Had a great time the only drawbacks were the attendants at the cabana. We do this yearly and always have great service but it was lacking this year. My grandson rates it 5 stars though! And we will be back next year.

My friends and I rented a private cabana, which I would say is the way to go if you have a large group. The service was excellent. The activities were fun. The food was good as well. It’s good to relaxing if that’s what you wanna do, and it’s also good for fun if that’s what you’re looking for as well.

The island was so much fun the swimming, snorkeling, and the food and beverages were very good as well. The only downsize was buying from your company overcharged by $30. What I could’ve walked up to the window and bought for 109 I paid $135 for.

Not worth the money!! We were bored and got a taxi back to our hotel after about 3 hrs. It might be great for kids or teenagers but very boring for adults. The big slides were not open but no one warned us or even gave us a discount. Food was not the best. Definitely a waste of money!!

We visited DePalm Island in June 2025. This was our second time booking this excursion as it is such a fun time with so many options of things to do from soaking up the sun, to snorkeling, to salsa dancing, swimming, riding the banana boat, drinks, and food rolled into one incredible day. Ther is something for all ages. When back in Aruba we will book this excursion again.

Pickup from hotel to de Palm island was not included but transportation back to hotel was. Great time had at island. Food was okay, drinks were good.
