Overview

Cruise around the turquoise waters of Aruba in this unique circular boat. Made of high-end fiberglass, the round vessel seamlessly glides over water, similar to a giant motorized inner tube. Jump in the water or lounge under the boat’s sun umbrella during your ride. You can rent the boat without a boat license, and you’ll be given instructions on how to operate it and the outboard motor.

Your tour departs from the Octopus Aruba beach hut, unless a pickup location is selected. Our beach hut is located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, walk through the lobby towards the beach. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right. We will sent the time of the tour via the Viator system. In order for everything to run smoothly and to leave on time, it is important that you are on time.

This Was a excursion we never tried in Aruba. It was fun. We rented for 3 hours. Snorkled. Swam. Played our music on their bluetooth speaker. Brought our own beverages. They were very helpful & friendly in helping us in anyway we needed.

The reviews were right about this one, it was cancelled a day before do to motor issues so couldn't experience it.

Dear guest, Thank you for your message. At the moment, new engines have been ordered for the donut boat. We did our best to continue with existing bookings, and some of our guests were able to enjoy a wonderful experience. However, the engine let us down on several occasions, which is why we made the difficult decision to cancel your booking. For now, the donut boat rental will not be available this month. This ensures that once the brand-new engines are installed, we can welcome our guests again without any problems and with the quality you expect from us. Living on an island also means that unfortunately many things are not readily available, and we sometimes have to wait months for parts to arrive. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d be happy to offer you a 20% discount on a future booking with us, once the donut boat is back in service. Best Day in Aruba! - The Donut Experience!

Best day we had in Aruba! My husband and I rented the boat with another couple that we traveled with. So only the four of us were on the boat and we didn't have to share our time with any other travelers, which I would highly recommend doing. At first we were concerned about being exposed to the sun for five hours while on the water, but learned we had nothing to worry about as the canvas cover offered enough shade to keep us protected while on the boat. The two who showed us how to maneuver the boat we kind and patient and kept their distance to not interfere with our experience but close enough to ensure our safety. We were guided to the best snorkeling places and given as much time as we wanted to enjoy everything until we were ready to move on. Not only did we enjoy the boat ride, we had time to lay back in our rafts and enjoy the sun, sights, of the beautiful scenery. We all rated this as the best adventure we had in Aruba. Because it was only the four of us, we were able to spend the entire five hours on the water doing exactly what we wanted to do, when we wanted to do it. We all highly recommend doing this to everyone!

The company messaged me 22 minutes before the scheduled time to cancel which we did not see until we arrived. No other accommodations were offered upon arrival. Very disappointing.

No Aqua Donut Boats in working condition

What a disappointment. We had a reservation for an Aqua Donut Boat for six, made 2.5 months earlier. On the reserved day, we got cabs from the cruise ship to the rental location, only to find there were no boats in working condition, and apparently had been none for months (from what we were told). We were referred to their office nearby. The office staff (friendly and sympathetic) was unable to issue a refund without the owner's authorization. Apparently the owner knew we were in the office, but did not respond to requests by the office staff for assistance. We wasted two hours of our port day in that office, including contacting Viator, before another manager or owner graciously had our cab fare refunded. Thankfully, later that day, the office staff called to confirm that she had processed the refund. Good news, we did get our money back. Bad news, wasted morning and no boating fun.

This excursion is not a safe option until the boat is updated with new abs clean equipment.

The boat operator very nice. However, we were provided with a motor boat for the ocean. Only had three useful life jackets for 6 adult people. The operator tried to help. He arrived out at sea to our boat with only providing more that wore not in working order or were child's sized. The snorkeling equipment was on the floor and dirty. Not enough for 6 people. We are expecting a reimbursement for this very inadequate excursion.

We would like to respond to the review that you have emailed to us. As a result of your review, we have made inquiries with our crew. It is indeed true that there were not enough life jackets available. The normal procedure is that our crew member checks if there are enough life jackets on board. We were surprised to read that there were not enough life jackets on board as these are standard equipment for a vessel. We offer you our sincere apologies for this. As for the snorkel gear. To keep the snorkel equipment tidy, it is stored in a drawer on the donut. The normal procedure is for these to be disinfected before each trip. From your review I understand that this has not happened. It is of course the intention that there is a set for each guest and that it is clean in the drawer. After we received your review, we immediately organized a crew meeting and indicated that this can no longer happen. We are now conducting a random check to check whether our crew adheres to our house rules to prevent this in the future. Kind regards Team Octopus

We had a great time on our donut boat, love the fact that it was private and we could go where we wanted, when we wanted, and do what we wanted. Crew was in contact with us often, felt safe and comfortable. When we bring our kids, we will be doing this again.
